And behind the scenes, an entire team of professionals are ready to ensure her experience is the best in class.

When a customer clicks book, the system creates a passenger name record, PNR for short.

From that one click, a complete travel record is created and stored for the entire journey.

Sophia receives her PNR, and she's ready to fly.

As she arrives at Hamar International Airport, she's greeted by Ground Services staff and directed towards her premium check-in counter, which completes her check-in in less than five minutes.

During peak hours, an average of 77 counters coordinate the check-in process of all passengers departing from HIA.

Each checked bag receives a unique baggage tag that links it to its passenger, flight number, and final destination.

At the economy row, Yusuf checks in all by himself with our self-check-in station.

Almost 20% of all check-ins done at Hamara International Airport are done via self-service, creating a faster process and giving passengers autonomy.

Meanwhile, with the help of state-of-the-art automation, the Qatar Aviation Services team coordinates seamless baggage receipt and processing for both passengers.

There's an entire world of logistics happening inside the airport, with all stakeholders that passengers don't get to see.

The Qatar Aviation Services Operations Center coordinates up to 250 departures per day,

which adds up to 1.5 million passengers every month and over 2 million bags processed.

Meanwhile, Sofia goes through immigration and arrives airside.

And to reach her lounge, she takes advantage of our airport buggy service.

Other transport options include a train that links north and south departure areas and travelers.

The lounge team is of course aware of Sophia's arrival and is already attending to every detail, such as her dietary preferences.

At Ground Services Operations, a team of professionals oversee every flight, every bag transfer, every passenger, with attention to detail, great communication,

and most importantly with care.

The Airport Operations Control Center in coordination with the Integrated Operations Center confirms the final stand allocation for the aircraft.

Once on the ground, ATC clears the aircraft to taxi to its designated stand.

Qatar Aviation Services are in position with chalks and ground support equipment for immediate connection.

Once brakes are set and engines shut down, jet bridges are docked and the turnaround operations begin.

Passenger offload, baggage transfer, and full cabin reset ahead of the next departure.

In order to make sure everything runs smoothly, the staff to flight ratio is 4 per departing flight and 2 per arriving flight.

Now it's time for the in-flight meal delivered.

Each one is freshly prepared on site by the Qatar Airways Catering Company.

Carefully loaded onto the aircraft via specialized catering trucks, these meals are delivered with precision and care, ready to be served to every passenger throughout the flight.

The Qatar Aviation Services cabin appearance team cleans the aircraft with meticulous attention to detail, and the fuel truck fills the aircraft to plan leaders.

At QROC, our crew arrive for their check-in.

Both pilots and cabin crew will undergo a to a pre-flight briefing of their own before heading out for the aircraft.

And while all of this is happening, Sofia enjoys the comfort of our lounge. And Yusuf?

Well, he's busy discovering the orchard, an indoor forest right inside the airport.

As our passengers reach the gate, they use our state-of-the-art boarding stations, some with a fully automated process, while others with the personal supervision of our staff.

A few moments later, the cabin crew checks boarding passes and welcomes our passengers on board.

They stow their cabin bags just as the last pieces of luggage are loaded into the hold.

The pilot and co-pilot perform cockpit cross-checks ready for takeoff.

And in the sky, the passengers enjoy our world-class service, including super-fast Wi-Fi by Starlink.

This entire journey we've just witnessed began with the press of a button, a journey that was seamless, thanks to the heroes behind the scenes that make it all happen.

And they get to do it all over again for the next flight.

An average of 81,710 bags.

That's an incredible number, and a true testament to world-class efficiency by the world's best airline.
