My desk went from this to this and it definitely took a lot of organizing, but we are not done yet.

Today, we're going to be making my desk space even better by adding more to the space.

My husband doesn't know that I got this.

So many people recommended that I get a bookshelf to put next to my desk and I finally decided to do it.

It's so heavy and also way taller than I thought.

It's only supposed to be like six feet tall.

This box definitely seems like, I don't know, it's really tall.

Maybe like eight feet.

I'm hoping it's just the weird distribution of the wooden slabs, but I guess we'll find out.

It's so ridiculously heavy.

And because I'm surprising him with it,

I can't even ask for his help because the idea is to have it fully set up when he gets home.

And it would be like not as good of a surprise to have a half put together bookshelf

and be like, hey, surprise.

Let's see how to put this thing together.

I feel like I can do it myself.

My mother -in -law got us a tool kit for Christmas

because she saw in my original desk setting up video that we didn't have any good tools to use.

So now I get to try it out. That is so cool.

No. In the meantime, we'll do this the old -fashioned way.

One of the reasons I wanted to get a bookshelf is

I also just think it's a good use of space because we live in a one bedroom one bathroom

So I just want to make sure we're using up as much space as we can

and this just adds a whole bunch of storage space I could also put my journals on it.

I'm debating.

I don't know.

It would be nice to free up a little bit of desk space.

However, I do like my journals on my desk.

I just like how it looks as a little inspirational journal stack,

as well as it's kind of like a film space set piece for the background of my videos.

And I kind of don't love the idea of moving it from a bookshelf to my desk whenever I'm filming.

Also, my husband reads a lot.

He has a lot of books.

So this would be perfect for that.

And I think it would be super fun to set it up together over the weekend
