1
Hello, my wonderful English learners.
2
Welcome back to The English Club.
3
This is day eight of our English shadowing practice.
4
If you've been practicing with us daily, you're building strong habits for fluency.
5
And if this is your first time, you're in the right place.
6
Just listen carefully, repeat after me, and let English flow through you.
7
Today's session is all about a theme that matters to everyone, self-improvement and well-being.
8
We will talk about building good habits, taking care of the body and mind, staying positive, and living a balanced life.
9
As you shadow, you'll not only improve your English fluency, but also gain ideas to improve your daily life.
10
So, take a comfortable seat, breathe deeply, and let's begin.
11
Life is a journey of growth.
12
Self-improvement is not about being perfect.
13
It is about becoming a little better every day.
14
Every person has potential.
15
Every person has talents.
16
Every person has dreams.
17
But to reach those dreams, we need to improve ourselves.
18
We need to learn new skills.
19
We need to challenge our weaknesses.
20
We need to build discipline.
21
Self-improvement is like planting a seed.
22
At first, you don't see much change.
23
But with patience, effort, and time, the seed grows into a tree.
24
A better version of yourself is waiting.
25
It just needs consistent care.
26
Habits shape our lives.
27
What you do daily determines who you become.
28
If you read 10 minutes every day, you will grow wiser.
29
If you exercise a little every morning, you will grow stronger.
30
If you practice English daily, you will grow more fluent.
31
Habits are powerful because they don't rely on motivation.
32
They become automatic.
33
They become part of your identity.
34
To build a good habit, start small.
35
Don't try to change everything at once.
36
Focus on one habit at a time.
37
If you want to exercise, begin with five minutes.
38
If you want to read, begin with one page.
39
If you want to meditate, begin with one minute.
40
Small steps lead to big results.
41
Because consistency is more important than intensity.
42
Well-being is not only about the body, it is also about the mind.
43
The way you think affects the way you live.
44
A calm mind leads to a calm life.
45
A stressed mind leads to a stressful life.
46
One way to take care of your mind is meditation.
47
Sit quietly.
48
Close your eyes.
49
Breathe deeply.
50
Focus on the present moment.
51
At first, it feels difficult.
52
Your thoughts wander.
53
You become restless.
54
But slowly, you learn to be still
55
Another way is journaling Writing your thoughts helps you understand yourself It helps you release negative emotions
56
It helps you find clarity
57
The mind needs rest The mind needs peace The mind needs
58
kindness Your body is your home It carries you through life It deserves care
59
Eating healthy food gives you energy Drinking water keeps you fresh Sleeping well restores your strength.
60
Moving your body keeps you alive.
61
Exercise is not only for muscles.
62
It is also for happiness.
63
When you move, your brain releases chemicals that make you feel good.
64
When you move, your stress goes down.
65
When you move, your confidence rises.
66
Taking care of your body is an act of love.
67
Not only for yourself, but also for the people who need you.
68
Life is not always easy.
69
There are problems.
70
There are failures.
71
There are disappointments.
72
But your attitude makes the difference.
73
A positive attitude does not ignore problems.
74
It faces them with courage.
75
It chooses hope over despair.
76
Staying positive means looking for lessons in challenges.
77
It means finding gratitude in small things.
78
It means believing that tomorrow can be better.
79
When you think positively, you attract positive energy.
80
You inspire others.
81
You create opportunities.
82
You build resilience.
83
Positivity is like sunlight.
84
It warms everyone around you.
85
Without goals, life feels empty.
86
Goals give direction.
87
They give purpose.
88
They give motivation.
89
A goal does not need to be big.
90
It can be small but meaningful.
91
For example, I will drink more water every day.
92
I will read five books this year.
93
I will call my family once a week.
94
Clear goals guide your actions.
95
They remind you of what matters.
96
They give you a reason to keep moving forward.
97
When you achieve a goal, celebrate it.
98
Celebrate even the small wins.
99
Because every step counts.
100
A growth mindset means believing you can improve.
101
It means seeing failures as lessons.
102
It means viewing challenges as opportunities.
103
With a growth mindset, you don't say, I can't do this.
104
You say, I can't do this yet.
105
With a growth mindset, mistakes don't stop you.
106
They teach you.
107
They guide you.
108
They strengthen you.
109
This mindset is key to self-improvement because the more you grow, the more you realize you can always grow more.
110
Success is not just about working hard.
111
It is also about balance.
112
Balance means having time for work and time for rest, time for goals, and time for loved ones, time for ambition, and time for joy.
113
Too much work leads to burnout.
114
Too much rest leads to laziness.
115
Balance keeps you healthy.
116
Balance also means listening to yourself.
117
Sometimes you need to push harder.
118
Sometimes you need to slow down.
119
Both are part of the journey.
120
True well-being includes kindness.
121
Helping others improves your own life.
122
When you give support, you feel stronger.
123
When you share love, you feel loved.
124
When you make someone smile, your own heart shines.
125
Self-improvement is not selfish.
126
It allows you to become the best version of yourself so you can help others.
127
A kind word can change a day.
128
A kind action can change a life.
129
Never underestimate the power of compassion.
130
Self-improvement and well-being are lifelong journeys.
131
There is no finish line.
132
There is only progress.
133
Every day is a chance to grow.
134
Every day is a chance to improve.
135
Every day is a chance to become your best self.
136
Remember, small steps lead to big change.
137
Good habits build strong character.
138
A healthy body and a calm mind create a happy life.
139
Your best self is not far away.
140
It is within you, waiting to be discovered.
141
And that brings us to the end of day eight of our English shadowing practice.
142
Today, we explored the theme of self-improvement and well-being.
143
You shadowed sentences about building habits, caring for your mind and body, staying positive, setting goals, and finding balance in life.
144
Remember, shadowing is about practice.
145
The more you repeat, the more fluent you become.
146
And the more you practice self-improvement, the happier and healthier your life will be.
