2
Hello everyone.
3
In today's video, let's practice talking about climate change.
4
This video will provide you with the following.
5
Part 1.
6
Try to shadow me and match my tempo and pace.
7
Climate change is primarily driven by the accumulation of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and methane, in our atmosphere.
8
These gases trap heat, causing a gradual rise in global temperatures.
9
This, in turn, leads to a myriad of problems, from more frequent and severe heat waves and storms to rising sea levels and disruptions in ecosystems.
10
We can't afford to underestimate the consequences of climate change.
11
Coastal communities face increased risks from sea level rise, and extreme weather events threaten lives and livelihoods.
12
The agricultural sector is under strain as changing weather patterns challenge crop yields, and access to clean water is becoming more uncertain.
13
The good news is that there is a path forward.
14
Many countries and organizations worldwide are taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
15
They are transitioning to renewable energy sources, implementing energy -efficient technologies, and investing in sustainable practices.
16
But individual action is equally important.
17
As individuals, we can make choices that collectively have a significant impact.
18
Reducing energy consumption at home,
19
using public transportation, and supporting environmentally friendly products and practices all contribute to mitigating climate change.
20
We must also use our voices and influence to advocate for change.
21
Holding governments and businesses accountable for their environmental policies is essential.
22
By working together, we can address climate change and ensure a better future for ourselves and generations to come.
23
In conclusion, climate change is a global challenge that demands immediate attention and action.
24
It affects our environment, economies, and societies.
25
But by collectively committing to change and taking large and small steps, we can combat climate change and create a more sustainable and resilient world.
26
Great!
