I'm definitely a person that likes spending a lot of time outdoors.

For me, being indoors all day is not ideal.

I usually try to take a walk outside and get some fresh air.

One of the coolest outdoor places in my opinion is the mountains.

If you go to the mountains you can usually find lush forests,

snow-capped peaks and also some amazing views.

If you've ever been to the top of a mountain before you know what I'm talking about.

One of my favorite things about the mountains is that you can do all kinds of mountain sports like snowboarding.

In my opinion, snowboarding is one of the funnest extreme sports

and it also allows you to appreciate the beautiful nature around you.

In the summertime, I love hiking in the mountains and enjoying the sun and fresh air.

Okay, so another cool outdoor place is the forest.

There are many different types of forests all around the world.

Some of them are more tropical and have all kinds of exotic plants and animals.

I've never been to a tropical rainforest before.

But in the US, we've got a lot of beautiful forests as well.

When I lived in the state of Oregon,

I spent a lot of weekends walking,

running and hiking in the forests around my town.

And of course, one of the best activities to do in the forest is camping.

my family went camping every summer with a big group of people.

Some of my greatest childhood memories are from those camping trips.

I hope I'm able to go camping again sometime soon.

Alright another cool outdoor place is the desert.

A lot of people dislike the desert,

but I actually love the desert.

I grew up in the southwestern United States,

and all throughout this area you have many many miles of desert landscapes.

I've always loved the colors of the desert.

Another reason why I like the desert is that I've always been interested in stories about the Old West.

Okay, so one last outdoor place that most people like is the beach.

The beach was never my favorite place in nature,

but I can definitely appreciate its beauty.

I really like going to places where there are cliffs on the coast.

There are some awesome places to watch the sunset from the cliffs in my hometown of San Diego.

I also remember riding bikes along the beautiful coastal cliffs in Portugal.
