IELTS Shadowing Practice with a British Accent

Many of the voices in IELTS Listening are British, and plenty of examiners are too. This collection narrows our IELTS videos to speakers with a British accent, so you get used to the non-rhotic R, the crisp T and the rise and fall of UK intonation while you practise test-style content: interviews, talks and opinion answers.

Shadow one sentence at a time, copy the stress on key words, then repeat without the text. Work at B2 for band 6 to 7 and C1 above that. See the full IELTS collection, every British accent video, or our IELTS speaking practice guide. Prefer US voices? Try IELTS with an American accent.
