This year may not have given you what you wanted,
4
but it gave you what you needed to become who you're turning into.
5
And I think that's something many of us need to hear right now, including me.
6
Because as the year comes to an end,
7
there's often this quiet pressure to evaluate everything.
8
We tend to ask ourselves what worked,
9
what didn't, what should I have done differently?
10
And if you're anything like me or like many ambitious women,
11
you might be ending this year with very mixed emotions.
12
Maybe pride for some of your achievements,
13
some disappointment for things that didn't work out,
14
some exhaustion, some hope, and so on.
15
And I just wanted to say this first.

If that's how you feel,
17
you're not doing anything wrong.
18
Growth doesn't always feel straightforward or empowering while it's happening.

Sometimes it feels slow.
21
Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening at all until you look back.
22
This year may not have been the year where everything clicked.
23
It may not have been the year where you reached the goal that you had in mind.
24
But it might have been the year where something much deeper shifted.
25
Something that's not visible at this point of your journey.

Maybe you learned where your limits actually are.
27
Maybe you learned what no longer works for you.
28
Maybe you learned how much pressure you've been carrying and you don't want to live like that anymore.
29
Or maybe you got some self-awareness on your limiting beliefs or what you need to change within you first.
30
And those things matter too.
31
One thing I've learned and something I talk about a lot is that success,
32
especially for women, isn't just about what you achieve on the outside.
33
It's also about what happens on the inside.
34
Sometimes the real success of a year isn't visible.
35
It's nervous system success.
36
It's emotional maturity.
37
It's learning how to pause instead of pushing.
38
It's learning how to listen to yourself sooner instead of later.
39
It's choosing rest without needing to justify it.
40
It's choosing alignment over urgency.
41
And those shifts don't always look impressive from the outside,
42
but they change everything long term.
43
And I think that's a great video for the end of the year to reflect back
44
and try to see the invisible progress too,
45
because those are a necessary part of your growth journey as well.
46
For me, those invisible progress this year has been being able to find a system that actually works for me,
47
having more awareness on some limiting beliefs and overcoming some of them,
48
and finally gaining more clarity on my next steps.
49
So I want you to reflect on your year and also try to shine a light on the invisible progress too.
50
They are the invisible steps for achieving your dream life and a sign you're much closer than you think.
51
And that's the message I want to leave you with.
52
I'll be also taking a short break from posting over the holidays.
53
And I'm saying this intentionally because this too is part of a holistic success.
54
Success isn't just about consistency,
55
discipline, and always showing up.
56
It's also about knowing when to pause,
57
when to integrate, when to let your nervous system catch up with everything you've been building.
58
So this break isn't about disappearing.
59
It's about honoring the rhythm of creation,
60
doing, resting, integration, and then returning more grounded.
61
So before closing this year,
62
I just want to leave you with one gentle reflection,
63
just something to sit with.
64
What did this year teach you about yourself,
65
even if you didn't like the lesson at the time?
66
Don't just think about what you achieved,
67
what you failed at, but also what you became more aware of,
68
because awareness is always the first step.
69
Very often, clarity doesn't come when you're rushing forward.
70
It comes when we slow down enough to look back.
71
It will come when your system feels safe enough to actually hear it.
72
And that's all for today's video.
73
Let me know in the comments about your invisible progress so that we can all celebrate those small steps together.
74
Thanks for watching and see you in the next video very soon.

What is the Shadowing Technique?

Shadowing is a science-backed language learning technique originally developed for professional interpreter training and popularized by polyglot Dr. Alexander Arguelles. The method is simple but powerful: you listen to native English audio and immediately repeat it out loud — like a shadow following the speaker with just a 1–2 second delay. Unlike passive listening or grammar drills, shadowing forces your brain and mouth muscles to simultaneously process and reproduce real speech patterns. Research shows it significantly improves pronunciation accuracy, intonation, rhythm, connected speech, listening comprehension, and speaking fluency — making it one of the most effective methods for IELTS Speaking preparation and real-world English communication.
