From seeking revenge for his beloved dog in the first movie to taking on the high table in the upcoming fourth installment,

John Wick has become a beloved character in the action movie genre.

The movies have also introduced us to a host of other memorable characters, such as Winston, played by Ian McShane,

and Charon, played by Lance Reddick.

With the promise of even more high-stakes action and thrilling plot twists to come in John Wick 4,

fans of the franchise eagerly await the next chapter in this iconic movie series.

Now we are going to listen to two friends discussing the John Wick movies.

First, we will listen to the conversation, pay special attention to the key vocabulary and pronunciation.

Then, we will go over the definitions of the key vocabulary introduced in the conversation.

Finally, we will roleplay the conversation using the dialogue displayed on the screen.

Hey, have you seen the John Wick movies?

Yeah, I have.

They're amazing.

Keanu Reeves is so good in those movies.

I agree.

He's such a badass.

Did you hear that a fourth one is coming soon?

Yeah, I did.

I'm really excited about it.

The third one left us on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'm curious to see where they take the story from there.

I know, right.

I can't wait to see how John Wick takes on the high table.

The action in those movies is just insane.

And I heard that they're bringing in some really talented actors for the fourth one, like Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgård,

it's going to be so cool to see them in action alongside Keanu Reeves.

That's true, and have you heard about the spin-off movie, Ballerina?

It's supposed to be about a ballerina assassin, and it takes place between the events of the 3rd and 4th John Wick movies.

Yeah, I heard about that.

It sounds really interesting.

Ana de Armas is such a great actress, so I'm looking forward to seeing her in that role.

Same here, I just hope they keep up the same level of action

and storytelling that we've come to expect from the John Wick franchise.
