Hi angels!
2
I've seen so many people try to manifest their dream reality
3
but then nothing changes for them which is heartbreaking to me
4
because I've also seen many people even within my community be successful at it including myself.
5
I mean look I'm living a completely different life than I was two to three years ago.
6
I didn't believe it was possible and there was a time
7
when the concept of manifesting didn't even make sense to me like it just didn't work out for me
8
so I just thought it didn't work.
9
But now I know exactly why it hasn't worked out for me and it's such a simple fix.
10
This is something that you already do every day so you might as well make it count.
11
I realize that somewhere deep down the people who fail don't actually believe they can have it.
12
On the surface level, they want it so bad.
13
They think about it all day long.
14
They will journal, script, affirm it every day.
15
But underneath all of that, there might be a very quiet voice in their head that says something like this just doesn't happen for people like me.
16
And that voice in their head remembers every single time when something doesn't work out and it will decide, so it shall be.
17
Failure continues to happen and you might even hear this voice consciously and it's buried way deeper than that, like it's running in your subconscious.
18
And your subconscious mind only cares about what you believe, actually believe deep down.
19
So the logical conclusion is we need to change this voice.
20
There is a certain time during your day when you can access your subconscious mind way better than any other time.
21
So today, I'm going to show you the method that changed everything for me.
22
If you're new here, my name is Mei.
23
My podcast and community are called Stoic Angels, where we explore the possibilities of human potential and transformation with practical research-backed tools.
24
I'm not really interested in making things out of thin air, and everything that I mention on my channel has also been part of my personal experience.
25
I mean, I would not have been able to believe that I'm sitting here today.
26
But you know what?
27
Old Me also wouldn't have believed that two to three years ago, I would start a channel that will hit like 500,000 subscribers.
28
So if you're actually ready to do the work and change your life, I talk about things like this every week from leveling up your face, your body, and your mind.
29
Subscribe if you haven't already.
30
But with many of my videos, I also make companion guides.
31
These are PDFs accompanying this video that you can download in my video description, and it is completely free for you because I love my angels.
32
So go download that and then let's get into it.
33
The science behind your subconscious mind.
34
To really understand why this technique works and not just do it blindly,
35
you need to understand what your subconscious mind does and why it has so much power and control over your life.
36
Sigmund Freud was the godfather of psychoanalysis and he gave us one of the most important frameworks for understanding the human mind.
37
So consciousness is an iceberg.
38
So the tip above the water is your active thoughts, your decisions, your awareness and underneath the surface, making up about 90 to 95% of your total mental capacity,
39
is your subconscious and unconscious mind.
40
That's where your beliefs live, which includes your self-concept, what you truly think you deserve deep down, what's possible for you, and what kind of person you really are.
41
Freud studied dreams extensively.
42
He called it the royal road to the unconscious, and he even wrote a book about it called The Interpretation of Dreams.
43
He understood that when we sleep, the conscious mind also goes to sleep, and our subconscious mind comes forward.
44
In modern neuroscience, during the transition to sleep and during REM cycles, your brain's prefrontal cortex, which is the part responsible for your critical thinking and logic, becomes much less active.
45
Your inner critic basically shuts down during your REM sleep, and that's actually one of the key things about your dreaming and your dream state.
46
This is where it gets really exciting.
47
So Carl Jung took Freud's work and pushed it even further by introducing the concept of the shadow, which is the part of yourself that you have pushed deep down,
48
rejected, suppressed, and you hide it away because you didn't think that it was acceptable.
49
This is where you're limiting beliefs about what you can have live.
50
Your shadow will believe I don't deserve this, this makes me very greedy, I think that wanting to have this or that makes people evil
51
and if I fail I will only prove what I believe about myself.
52
Your shadow runs your life from behind the scenes, I mean that's why for the longest time I didn't think that I was an outdoorsy person, I didn't think that I could go hiking,
53
now I'm in Switzerland and I've been hiking every day doing some pretty moderately dangerous hikes I mean, I'm bringing very safe of course, but truly there was a time I didn't really think
54
that I could have what I have today
55
and I have to be really really honest about
56
that with myself The reason why I also encourage dream journaling
57
so much even on my discord server I have a channel
58
specifically for us to recall our dreams This helps us to try
59
and integrate whatever is denied or missing from your regular day-to-day life Dreams in a way helps us process our reality.
60
If you desire abundance during your waking life but then unconsciously you're living in a scarcity mindset,
61
then your psyche is in conflict and that conflict will play out in your dreams as you sleep.
62
That is when your subconscious mind is processing and reinforcing whatever is the strongest to you.
63
Sometimes our dreams are actually telling us the truth and we seldom even get to choose those beliefs.
64
Some of these beliefs are basically reinforced into our psyches
65
and into our heads since early childhood and then being reinforced over
66
and over again by life experiences
67
and ever since then they keep running in your head whether you like it
68
or not so we're in the psychological phenomenon where your dream state mind rejects your new beliefs
69
because it doesn't match up with what it already knows
70
so the only way to overwrite this is to directly access your subconscious mind
71
which brings us to the question right like when is this the most accessible?
72
The portal.
73
Every night when you go to bed you pass through this neurological doorway and it's called a hypnagogic state.
74
You're not fully awake but you're also not fully asleep yet and that's when you're beginning to drift and fall asleep.
75
So what is happening in your brain at this time is pretty special.
76
Your brainwave frequency drops from beta waves, which is your alert and conscious mode, down through alpha and into theta waves.
77
Theta is basically the frequency range associated with deep meditation and hypnosis.
78
One of my degrees is in psychology, and this is also how therapists access subconscious material during clinical sessions.
79
There was research from Harvard published in 2000
80
that demonstrated the content of your thoughts during sleep directly influences this dream incorporation and memory consolidation.
81
That means the thoughts that you have right before you go to bed are the ones
82
that you will probably end up dreaming about.
83
Your mind spends the next six to eight hours, however long you're asleep for, rearranging all of these thoughts and neural pathways, trying to integrate them into your beliefs.
84
So Carl Jung himself practiced what he called the active imagination.
85
To some of you who also believe in manifestation, this may sound super familiar.
86
So this is a technique where he would intentionally enter in semi-conscious state, relaxed and imagined feelings and images that came up.
87
The Godfather of Manifestation, Neville Goddard, also practiced this as well and they both believe
88
that this is one of the most powerful tools for integrating our thoughts into reality and for Carl Young, he believed that this is for integrating this shadow specifically.
89
So he was deliberately using this as a portal to transform his own mind and his life.
90
This was happening way before any kind of modern-day neuroscience research even entered the picture
91
and this psychologist basically figured out how to use the specific window to manifest his reality.
92
So if Freud mapped out the subconscious, Jung taught us how to explore it.
93
So I mentioned Neville Goddard
94
and he's the man who figured out how to program your thoughts specifically for manifestation
95
and every manifestation technique that you have seen traces back to what he was teaching back in the 50s and 60s.
96
His core teaching is that the state
97
that you occupy as you fall asleep is the state
98
that your subconscious will process and rehearse
99
and ultimately this projects into your waking life and he says
100
that as you prepare for sleep
101
if you do not consciously fill yourself with a state of
102
the answered wish then you will take the sum total of the reactions
103
and the feelings of the waking day
104
while asleep you will also be instructed in the manner in
105
which they will be expressed tomorrow this means that
106
if you don't intentionally choose your own thoughts
107
and what you're feeding to your subconscious right before you go to sleep and if you're thinking about something negatively, obsessively, sending late night tags and emails,
108
freaking out over something that hasn't even happened yet, you will take this into your next day.
109
As long as you keep this up, you will take this into your life.
110
It becomes your life actually.
111
Stress, self-doubt, thinking that you're behind, nothing's working out for you.
112
Your subconscious will collect all of that and process it and set you up for your next morning.
113
So if you want to wake up starting fresh, you have to start the night before.
114
Neville also said that you arise believing you are a free agent, but then every action of your day is quietly shaped by
115
what you felt about yourself in your life as you drift off to sleep this is how important
116
that state is and this is also what freud was saying about the subconscious
117
and unconscious running the show and what young says about shadow beliefs operating beneath our awareness
118
so neville basically took this a step further
119
and said let's deliberately choose what we decide to think about i want to say
120
so far we've been talking about your sleeping mind and subconscious programming but a lot of what manifestation also skips, it's your waking mind as well which also matters.
121
We are what we constantly reinforce.
122
So before I walk you through exactly how to do this experiment, I want to talk about something that's become part of my own daily routine because when I started taking this practice seriously,
123
I needed my body to feel as intentional and healthy as my mind.
124
This video is sponsored by Amra Colostrum and at first I was skeptical about colostrum at first, right?
125
Like I've seen people talking about it online quite a bit
126
but I started using Amra Colostrum for a while now and the first thing I noticed personally was my skin.
127
If it wasn't glowing before, now I'm actually glowing.
128
And then my digestion just started feeling smoother and more consistent
129
and I feel more energetic too because like I said I've been hiking in Switzerland for the last few days, I've been exploring the city and I brought this with me even as I'm sightseeing and as I'm hiking.
130
So when my body feels good and nothing's bothering me physically, my mind also settles faster and easier,
131
which matters when you're about to do an active visualization practice every single night for the next 21 days.
132
Our body and our mind has to be aligned.
133
So I keep the Armour Colostrum Health Revival around in my bag when I'm outside and while I'm traveling.
134
And if I want to live my dream life doing what Dream Me does, I better live off to that hype and do what Dream Me does, which is to obviously take good care of my body.
135
So visit my link in the description to purchase Armour Colostrum
136
and use my code MAY at checkout to get 15% off your first order.
137
Now I'm about to give you not one but two methods
138
because maybe one of these is going to feel more natural to you than the other
139
so try both and keep the one
140
that you like method one is called the scene loop this is Neville Goldar's signature technique
141
so as you're lying in bed
142
and you feel yourself drifting off to sleep you create one short scene in your imagination like a mind movie
143
that scene must imply
144
that your wish has already been fulfilled you are at the
145
end you're not visualizing yourself working towards the goal in your process
146
or thinking about the level of effort
147
that it takes you're going to place yourself at the ending of
148
that movie after you have already have everything
149
that you wanted not even the moment that you have it
150
but after that let's say for example you're manifesting a new apartment and you don't visualize apartment hunting.
151
You're actually visualizing yourself standing at your kitchen counter on a Tuesday, holding onto your coffee mug and hearing the sounds of a new neighborhood.
152
Maybe it's a day just like this one.
153
The birds are chirping and it's raining and you feel the fresh air on your skin.
154
You're looking outside at the view and you feel the texture of your floor
155
and how the daylight starts to hit your face.
156
You play that scene on a loop over
157
and over again as you drift off to sleep and
158
if your mind wanders off that's okay just bring it back
159
but the point is you have to imagine the most mundane
160
and normal part of your day
161
which is you know naturally going to be part of your dream life
162
and it has to feel so normal for you but
163
that scene should also be the last thing
164
that your subconscious remembers before it takes
165
that scene to work for the next six to eight hours
166
this is also what young would recognize as active imagination with
167
a specific directive you're not passively waiting to see what your subconscious mind does
168
because you've been doing
169
that your whole life you're basically giving it directions like a
170
blueprint in your theta state without your gatekeeping self-aware conscious mind telling you
171
that it's unrealistic your subconscious accepts it as an experience rather
172
than something made up it is like a practical real outcome
173
for you remember how your brain doesn't actually distinguish between a vivid imagination
174
and a real one so you're not actually pretending anything
175
but you're pre-living your wishes as already fulfilled done the second method is called the sensory shift.
176
So this is for everyone who tells me, May, I literally cannot visualize anything.
177
My mind is just blank and I'm having a lot of trouble doing this.
178
So I hear you.
179
This one doesn't actually require you to see anything.
180
So you're actually already lying in bed.
181
You feel a mattress beneath you, a pillow on your head.
182
You feel heavy.
183
So now you don't actually need to generate any kind of new information.
184
Just reframe whatever you're already feeling and decide that this bed that I'm in is the bed of my desired reality.
185
I've already reached my destination.
186
So the mattress for example is the mattress in your new apartment
187
and the pillow is on the head of someone who already has what they want.
188
You sense the room around you and you decide this room
189
that I'm in right now is my dream room
190
and you will imagine that you feel the presence of whatever you want to represent.
191
So Neville Goddard used this method
192
when he was stationed at a military training camp during the war and he really wanted to go home.
193
Every night he laid on that camp bed
194
and he felt the mattress beneath him and he decided this is my bed at home.
195
He imagined his wife sleeping next to him, he felt the shape of his bedroom and he also felt the presence of his sleeping child.
196
He did this for nine days.
197
On the 10th day he was called into the office and they handed him the discharge papers.
198
You can go home now Neville.
199
So it only took 10 days for him and what makes this technique
200
or method more powerful from a psychological perspective is that it works with what Freud would call the reality principle.
201
In some ways, this may actually be more practical for you.
202
Basically, your senses are already active and engaged.
203
You're not fighting your brain to create something out of nothing.
204
So there's nothing for your active mind to fight against.
205
You are gently redirecting what's already there because you're already there in bed.
206
And because these sensations are real for you, in that the mattress is real, the pillow's real, your subconscious mind is more than ready to actually accept this reframe.
207
You're narrowing that gap between the real and the imagination.
208
So if you want to try out both methods at the same time, you can do that too.
209
Integrating your beliefs.
210
I want to also circle back to where we started because it really does actually make or break the whole practice.
211
So remember when I said that the reason why most manifestations fail is
212
because deep down you don't believe you can have it?
213
You can loop these scenes and do sensory shifting all you want.
214
You can practice for a month, a couple of months, or a few days.
215
But if underneath all of that, your shadow is still saying this will never actually happen, then your subconscious mind still has that complex.
216
So Carl Jung will call this a complex, an emotionally charged cluster of associations that basically operate on its own automatically in the background.
217
So these associations that you have are basically the constant fighting
218
and resistance between I don't deserve abundance and I do deserve abundance.
219
Basically that will override your conscious intention unless it's brought into awareness and integrated.
220
So how do you integrate this?
221
Remember all of these thoughts that you have that are in conflict are part of your shadow.
222
So try this step one before you do anything tonight like either technique, sit with yourself for 60 seconds
223
and just ask yourself do I actually believe this is possible for me and be really honest about it.
224
Don't say something like yeah of course I should think like
225
that and actually be really honest with yourself
226
if the answer is not fully that that is the awareness of what you're fighting against.
227
In In order for us to integrate it, we have to first acknowledge it.
228
That's why it's step one.
229
Now step two, if you notice resistance, don't fight it and name it.
230
Say it to yourself quietly or in your mind, I notice a part of me that doesn't believe that this is possible.
231
I'm not going to argue with myself, but very gently, I'm going to show myself a new perspective.
232
This is shadow work in its most simple and rudimentary form.
233
You're not killing your doubts.
234
You're not fighting yourself.
235
Basically, you're acknowledging all of these thoughts that you have that's fighting against you
236
and you're feeding it and integrating it into a new possibility despite what you may think otherwise.
237
Step 3, start with something your nervous system can actually accept.
238
If manifesting a billion dollars feels like a joke to you, it will reject the programming.
239
So you have to start with something that creates a slight stretch
240
but not a full snap just to convince your mind that it's absolutely possible.
241
Something that makes you think, okay maybe that's more realistic and that's fine.
242
That is the gateway.
243
It's like the portal as your subconscious experiences and small alignments and synchronicities come together.
244
I always try to connect the dots as much as I
245
can in my reality just to prove like all of these synchronicities and coincidences are not just coincidences.
246
Because literally your mind goes where your focus goes
247
and it's the threshold for what it believes is possible and that will continue to stretch and expand.
248
So try this tonight.
249
Realistically speaking, maybe half an hour before bedtime, put your phone on airplane mode, put it in another room, make it silent and focused.
250
You are protecting your hypnagogic window because we do not want the last thing
251
that your subconscious mind to absorb someone else's Instagram story.
252
So let's be super conscious about this.
253
Go to bed, take five slow deep breaths
254
and exhale longer than you inhale which shifts you from a beta state into an alpha state.
255
You feel your body start to sink and this is also how you fall asleep more easily.
256
So choose one desire, one thing to work on
257
and create your scene out of that one thing or set your sensory shift.
258
Try one of the two methods either the mind movie or shifting your senses and after you do that check your beliefs.
259
Do you feel any resistance?
260
It's okay if you do so name that resistance acknowledge it,
261
don't fight it, and then continue to keep looping gently just like someone singing a gentle lullaby to you.
262
You're not meant to go really hard on this, it's like a whisper.
263
If you lose it then just come right back into it.
264
Even though it took Neville Goddard nine nights, I'd like you to commit to 21 nights
265
because scientifically speaking there's research done on forming habits
266
that show new behavioral patterns begin to emerge and create significant shifts around three weeks.
267
So give your subconscious mind
268
that courtesy of adjusting to one of these methods before you even decide whether this works or not.
269
I know some of you guys are gonna try this tonight
270
and wake up next morning and maybe nothing changes so your mind thinks, see I told you this wouldn't work.
271
Instead of jumping into conclusions like what I've done for years and years and wasting my time,
272
watch out for all of these subtle shifts and how you feel when you wake up for the next 21 days.
273
And notice all of these little subtle things, whether it's something that happens to you or random thought that comes into your head that you wouldn't otherwise think about.
274
Notice when you respond to something differently than you otherwise would and you're not even sure why that is.
275
Neville Goddard calls this the bridge of incidents between where you are now and where your desire lives.
276
There is a series of very small and seemingly unrelated events that your subconscious mind will orchestrate to bridge this gap.
277
It's almost like the hurdles or the tasks or the steps that you have to take in order to get there.
278
That's your bridge.
279
Carl Jung will call these synchronicities or sympathetic meaningful coincidences
280
that the rational mind dismisses but your psyche will recognize that this is the evidence that I am aligned.
281
So when you start noticing these thoughts don't brush it off even
282
if it comes up or feels like a challenge
283
or a test to you don't resist it but acknowledge it take note of it.
284
Now drop a comment below and tell me what you're falling asleep feeling like tonight
285
and tell me as if it's already done it's more powerful i feel
286
if you just write it out and declare it
287
and let the rest of our community in the comments witness it
288
and let me witness it too because i read your comments
289
and i will affirm this with you
290
if you don't know what to say you can say i
291
am manifesting my dream reality it's also a pretty significant change actually
292
when you allow
293
that wish of yours to move into a space where other people can also see it
294
but not like in the tell your friends
295
and family kind of way i don't actually believe that
296
but online people don't really know who you are like you're anonymous right except for me
297
but basically nobody else in your life can ruin it for you this is a safe space
298
if you want more guidance throughout this process
299
or you do better with someone walking you through relaxation
300
and change and transformation i am working on an extensive collection of meditations
301
and subliminals affirmations library as well as courses and programs
302
that i'm creating around magnetism manifestation and body transformation as well as mind and life transformation.
303
All of this is going to be part of my Stoic Angels 2.0 platform.
304
Essentially it is a manifestation platform and you can sign up for the waitlist and my video description is linked below.
305
So before that, try this out tonight because no matter what you're going to be falling asleep anyway.
306
That's already going to be happening.
307
The only question is what are you giving your mind to work with?
308
It causes you nothing and it doesn't take any extra time.
309
You're already going to lie in your bed tonight falling asleep.
310
Might as well fall asleep believing that all these things are possible for you.
311
And if you don't believe in yourself yet, I believe in you, angels.
312
I love you.
313
And nobody else told you that today.
314
I did.
315
And I will see you in the next video.
