Shadowing Practice: The BEST Dead Rails WEAPON TIER LIST (UPDATED) - Learn English Speaking with Video

There's about 40 weapons in dead rails with loads of useless melees,

awful explosive weapons, and even a literal lightning cannon.

But which ones are worth using and which ones aren't even worth a second thought?

That's where we're going to find out in today's video where we're going to be using every single weapon,

placing them on a tier list,

and figuring out which ones you need to use right now.

Make sure you stick until the end because there's going to be some weapons

that you may not have even known are in the game.

Let's start off simple, the melees.

I know there's a lot of different ones in the game with unique stats,

but let's be real, they're all basically the same,

other than a couple that we'll cover separately.

The melees overall, though, are like the shovels,

pickaxes, cavalry sword, are basically all the same and deserve no higher than a C tier,

in my opinion.

They work if you have literally no other weapon,

but otherwise, zero point in using them.

The Excalibur, while a melee on its own, is absolutely ridiculous.

It basically just sprays lightning down at whatever you do a charged hit on,

and there's almost nothing to say about it other than the fact that it's super OP.

It's one of the few melees that I'd be proud to wield,

and I'd give it an S tier all day, any day.

The Vampire Knife needs little to no introduction.

It heals on doing damage,

and is the default weapon for the Vampire class.

It makes you basically invincible whenever you're playing that class,

but for anything else, it's honestly kind of buns,

other than doing charge shots.

But other than being a general upgrade over most other melees,

it's just generally as impractical as any other.

Definitely B tier.

Unless you're playing Vampire, then it's goaded.

The Spear of Longius? just Longinus?

Whatever you call this thing,

it is extremely rare, and it's one of the newest weapons in the game.

It's got a cool model,

and while a pretty rare find from just evil churches,

it basically covers anyone you hit in holy water,

causing them to get struck by lightning.

Kinda overall similar to the Excalibur in a sense,

though whenever I found it,

it was broken and I wasn't able to buy it.

I also couldn't find it again,

but if it does work how I think it does,

it is a solid S-tier weapon.

The revolver was always a super solid starter gun,

and while it still is, there are some issues.

While reloading, it only reloads one bullet at a time,

which luckily it can be interrupted.

Damage is kind of exactly what you'd expect,

where it's pretty solid and it sounds really nice too,

though sometimes it doesn't have a gunshot sound.

No idea why, but it is really nice though for early game and a really nice B tier.

The Mauser is more of the same with the revolver,

but generally it is a little bit better.

While it does appear to do about the same damage,

it has a magazine which reloads really fast,

and for sure one of the best secondaries in the entire game.

Another solid B tier.

I used to really hate the navy revolver because it was slow

and didn't do that much damage to compensate

But now it fires as fast as you can fire it

and reloads all six rounds in a matter of like two seconds The best part?

It does insane damage for what it is

and it's also really easy to get now I don't think anyone has an issue with A tier on this.

The Flintlock.

This thing is also a pretty new weapon,

and for sure one of the most unique as far as ranged weapons go.

It's not super rare being found in most places that other weapons can be,

and it does a ton of damage.

Sadly, the reload time is a little bit longer than desired,

but it is pretty good if you're dealing mostly with smaller enemies or one-on-one engagements.

If you're fighting a ton of werewolves, though, you're absolutely cooked.

B tier seems pretty fair,

but let me know if you think otherwise.

The Thompson.

This was originally an admin-only weapon,

but not too long ago got added as a game pass,

and is now honestly one of those things that I would say is a must-have.

Lore-wise, it is considered a futuristic weapon,

and while not doing a ton of damage,

it is a ton of fun,

but sadly though, it does chew through ammo pretty quick.

It's good for those enemies that just tank loads of shots,

since your magazine feels like it just goes on forever,

but in general, I would just give it an S tier,

just for the fun factor alone.

I have such a love-hate relationship with the sawed-off because on one hand,

it is a load of fun It's super common and can do a ton of damage Keyword,

can Because on the other hand,

half of the time that I use it,

it either does very little

or zero damage This has been an issue since the weapon was added

and I'm honestly shocked that they never fixed it When it does work,

it is great, but half of the time that it doesn't So sadly,

I have to leave it with probably a C tier at the moment When it works though,

absolute A tier

The shotgun honestly always has been a favorite what's not to love It's got insane damage fast interruptible reload

It performs really similar to both the rifle and the bolt action,

and generally it's just a fantastic choice to take into battle against most enemies in the game.

Lastly, the Tesla Cannon, and the second case for the Electrocutioner.
