Because I live alone, I've always kind of eaten for convenience because I'm lazy,

because I am juggling so much and I need energy and the energy comes from how I'm taking care of myself.

So I start my mornings with a warm cup of water

and lemon or bone broth on an empty stomach because I also want glass skin and discipline.

When it's not a work week, I try to keep my mornings as slow as possible.

So I sip on my drink, watch some TV, browse on my phone, even though I do try to keep my phone usage to a minimum until around eight

or nine o'clock and just have some time to myself.

After I have my little at-home jazz cafe downtime, I like to go in with my supplements because I think they work best on an empty stomach.

because I feel like I've been in such a negative mindset lately

and so consumed by my problems that I forget to be grateful for all the great things I do have.

I spent the rest of my morning here journaling and reflecting

which for me has become a must in my routine to free up some space in my mind

Through this journey, I'm learning that the change I've always wanted to see for myself started with myself
