Okay, today we're going to talk about emotions.
11
We all feel a wide range of emotions and it's important to understand our emotions.
12
So let's start off with positive emotions.
13
Let's talk about the most famous emotion, happiness.
14
This is the emotion that all of us like.
15
When we're happy, this means that we're satisfied,
16
we feel good, and we're able to smile.
17
So, what makes people happy?
18
Well, there could be tons of things.
19
Some of the most common might include having good relationships,
20
enjoying your job, and doing fun things.
21
But honestly, I think the most important factor is feeling like you have a purpose in life.
22
If you feel like you have a reason to wake up in the morning,
23
then you probably experience happiness quite often.
24
Okay, next let's talk about excitement.
25
This is one of my favorite emotions.
26
When you're excited, you can't wait for the future.
27
You feel happy and optimistic about something you're gonna do or about something that's gonna happen.
28
So what makes people excited?
29
Again, there could be tons of things.
30
For example, I know that I get excited when I think about my goals for the future.
31
It's fun and exciting to think about what I can accomplish.
32
I also feel excited when I'm gonna travel.
33
I really love planning trips and it makes me excited to research the places where I'm gonna go.
34
Alright, let's talk about one other positive emotion, relief.
35
Relief is the emotion you feel when some uncertain situation ends in a positive way.
36
For example, imagine that you're worried that you have some serious health problem,
37
but then the doctor tells you that you're okay and there's nothing to worry about.
38
You feel a sense of relief when you hear that.
39
This can be a really strong emotion because you release all the worry that you were feeling.
40
I love this feeling.
41
Okay, now let's talk about a few negative emotions.
42
First, anger.
43
This is the emotion that none of us like feeling.
44
It's normal to feel angry at times,
45
especially when someone does something really bad.
46
However, it's not good to feel angry all the time.
47
This shouldn't be an emotion that stays with us.
48
When we get mad, it should only be for a limited time.
49
We should be able to get over this anger when the bad situation passes.
50
Here's one tip I can give.
51
Don't go to bed angry.
52
Try to resolve this problem before the end of the day.
53
This will make your life a lot better.
54
Another negative emotion is sadness.
55
No one likes feeling sad,
56
but unfortunately this is another normal emotion.
57
We need to feel sad about certain things.
58
But I think that if you talk about this with someone that you love,
59
it really helps you deal with your sadness.
60
We need to be able to express this feeling and then we can move on.
61
One more negative emotion is fear.
62
This is one of my least favorite emotions.
63
There are some things in life that scare us.
64
When you were a kid,
65
you were probably afraid of the dark or maybe you're still afraid of spiders.
66
there are many other worse fears that affect our lives.
67
They can make us scared to do things,
68
and they can make us feel really stressed.
69
So of course, it's good to try to overcome our fears.
70
Okay, that's all for today.
