The reason I started Annihilator was, at the time, was because I was an 18-year-old drunk, and I liked Metallica, and I wanted to play in a band

At the moment we're just coming off, I believe a month's tour with a British group called Onslaught.

This big Canadian wanker sign on the back of their bus.

And being from Canada, we didn't know what a wanker was.

So we thought it was Canadian jerks or whatever.

We didn't realize it was, you know, whatever wanking means over here.

So we followed them for a while until somebody told us what it meant us what it meant.

And at the next truck stop, we decided to make up this big sign saying, Onslaught Gay Pride Tour 89.
