Like, I know a big rock hit Earth, but then what?

With less light, plants died, and the animals that ate the plants, and the animals that ate them, and up and up and up.

But it would have taken about 150 years, several generations.

The animals that survived were small, no bigger than a German Shepherd, and they were able to find refuge underground or underwater.

After 180 million years, the reign of dinosaurs was over.

It's really scary to think about, but that extinction is the reason we're here today.
