Store brand bread, $1.42 a loaf.

That's $6 of savings if you shop for the store brand on just three items.

It's more about what it is that is on sale and what benefits us financially.

And where you shop can make a huge difference.

Using Walmart as a baseline,

Consumer Reports found that your typical grocery store can cost you a little under 10 or more than 10% more on average.
