The adrenaline rush and kind of the thrill of the speed

and the g -forces you feel and the turns and there's nothing really else I've done that's quite like it.

It takes time to get used to the speed, takes time to get used to how fast you can take a corner

and knowing the limits of the car and knowing your own limits.

Dr. Lee tests those limits here at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch.

It's kind of like a country club for drivers that set up 55 miles west of Las Vegas.

The track that I belong to, they can do 50 different configurations.

The longest configuration is 6 .1 miles.

He owns his car, which cost around $40 ,000.

The main thing that you notice is how well the car handles.

In a corner, they can pull two and a half Gs easily.

And that's a big thrill I like about racing, you know.

While the father of two has no desire to wreck, he admits that he does not mind feeling a little fear.
