if you even really are human i truly have no way

of knowing i just want to talk about the a .i artificial intelligence

if you will i know that

when people hear about artificial intelligence it comes with a lot of eye rolls

and size and i don't think i can blame anybody for having

that reaction especially with how invasive it has become in a lot of spaces throughout our lives like for example

when you use google and just want to search something up

and you get a ton of ai overview stuff taking up half the damn screen

or the questions they put under i get wanting to make

the search for knowledge an easier experience on the eyes

but man it gets stuff wrong a lot of the time at least in my experience but yeah

ai is everywhere dude i boot up my computer for classes

and i instantly see microsoft co -pilot when i open up word

which thankfully you can uninstall

but it's just another thing you need to uninstall once you

get a new computer i just also wish you could uninstall the edge browser

which is kind of off topic but please let me uninstall edge browser thank you

and then it's kind of crazy they killed cortana a second

time for this you know poor master chief man poor John has to see her die again and again

and that's just one thing it's on your phone your TV

social media your Samsung fridge maybe who knows I'm not even

just talking about using AI I'm also talking about coming across it on your feed maybe

when you're scrolling on your phone

or planning to watch a new show you'll see artwork

that isn't really quite right people in the comments repeating one thing after another

that is vaguely connected to the post but doesn't even really make sense?

I mean, it's kind of weird to go online and not even know if other users are real people.

Speaking of not knowing if someone is a real person, we have companies being too lazy and cheap to hire real models

so they use ai generated faces in their advertisements why there's

also like these fake ai generated videos with fake backstories

that try to trick people end up

buying their crap i don't

even know what to say to somebody not paying attention it's hard to notice at first with the generated images

and so you'd maybe scroll past and not think too much of it, but what it implies for the future is kind of scary, at least to me.

It's also sad, because the way that AI feeds on and uses the artwork of real artists,

a lot of people get falsely accused of using AI in their drawings or creations.

Meanwhile, the people who are using AI are making up crazy

ways to try to trick people into thinking their art is real.

Which, I mean, if you're putting in that much work to make fake sketches, then wouldn't you rather just put in the time to learn how to draw?

I don't know.

That's just how I look at it.

There are also people who have full -on conversations with these AI chatbots and then have an over -reliance on AI.

You know it's bad when they share screenshots

and then you just see chat GPT talking in ways that just should not be allowed, man.

Why do you have your chatbot talking to you like this?

This is not healthy.

Why didn't you give it a personality?

That's insane.

It's also sad because some people think they've developed an actual connection with their chat GPT agent

and then some people are believing they're in a real relationship with it

there's like a whole subreddit which I still don't know

if it's satire but one can hope I might just be

that dumb but it's a whole group of people claiming

that the ai agent is their boyfriend or girlfriend like even

if the subreddit is not real there are people who actually

treat chat gpt like they're in a relationship with it i think

that also ties into ai just being everywhere

and easily accessible too a lot of vulnerable people who may

have difficulty socializing can just open up this app on their phone

and talk to a chat bot instead of trying to go out

or have a conversation in the real world with a real

person at the end of the day this chat bot has to give a reply

so none of it is as real as you think it's

just doing what it was programmed to do people also love using it as a search engine

which i mean it can be used in that way

but like why is your question that important or complicated

that you couldn't just use a different search engine

and actually just go do the research or find your answer there

and i know earlier i did mention google has implemented an ai overview

but you can disable those things and still find what you're looking for believe it

or not there was a time where you searched something

and then found what you were looking for in the next

two seconds people will also ask ai the dumbest questions imaginable like i guess bro other than it being everywhere

and accessible i just truly think it's making a lot of people dumber image

and video generation aside we already know people are too lazy to learn how to create their own art

or videos people are just not wanting to learn they would

rather put their whole assignment onto the ai instead of doing

it themselves i get not wanting to do the schoolwork

but back then there really wasn't a way to generate an entire essay believe me younger me tried

and failed i think i was in like sixth grade

and just didn't want to do my work

so i searched up essay generator free online and then just put in the subject I was writing about,

pasted it in, didn't read what it put out like the idiot I was, and then got caught because of how bad a job the essay generator did.

I mean, it was good I got caught because that was actually a stupid thing I did, but it taught me to actually put in the work and not try to find shortcuts in my education.

Nowadays, it's even harder for the teachers

or professors to catch on to the fact

that what they're reading may not be an original work by their student

but something generated by ai i shared my ai disaster story

because believe me i was also a student wanting to get

out of work like i did not want to do my work at all

and i just wanted the easiest thing to get an a

and not learn but like i still remember the essay i wrote after getting caught

and i can't imagine just generating an essay reading it over

and then submitting it as an assignment is enough to retain the knowledge

that you're supposed to be getting from actually doing the research and doing the work

to be honest i don't really know what i want to

get out of this video this is mostly just me ranting

about my feelings of it all from what i've personally seen
