In today's video we will be cafe hopping and learning English

and at the end of the video I'm gonna share my favorite word with you.

Now I'll put down my broly and what better way to begin a rainy day than...

Right guys, we have our goodies, our sweet treats.

I have ordered a muffin and it's double chocolate, so there is chocolate inside.

Chang has a mug full of hot chocolates with a teaspoon to mix it.

The mug comes on a saucer.

The saucer is like the home for the mug.

And I have obviously a very little child's drink.

I've got a triple chocolate cookie milkshake because it's Saturday and it's raining outside.

I want to have a good time.

This is going to make me feel sick and I can't wait.

It comes on a coaster.

The coaster is this thing.

We have already bought our chocolate from downstairs.

We tried the little pieces of chocolate, the tasters or the testers,

and we were sold, meaning that we wanted to buy them as soon as we tasted it.

So we have an assortment of chocolates in here.

I am untying the ribbon,

sliding off the cover, flipping up the lid,

and you can see these are candied mandarins and coated in dark chocolate.

This is another box of chocolates, and these are white chocolates with roasted cashew and raisins.

A raisin is a dried grape.

Cacao beans.

Which again is the bean that we make chocolate from.

So I'm taking out a bean from the jar and firstly taking off the skin,

the outside of the cacao bean and it's got a very interesting texture it's quite crumbly I'm gonna eat it

next we're going to do something

that all humans love people watching in order to people watch we need to change the lens

so we're going to change this lens so we can people watch from the balcony

so i am stepping out onto the balcony i am on the balcony looking down to the world below

and over here we have a woman in a non-lar carrying two fruit baskets let's get a better visual

This woman is walking down the alley carrying two fruit baskets on her shoulder.

She is wearing a raincoat or a poncho.

She's just disappeared.

Down below, there are people with umbrellas.

The man on the left has a navy umbrella and the woman behind him has a white umbrella.

Across the street there is a man wheeling two suitcases.

An orange suitcase and a pink suitcase.

Here there is a person putting on a black helmet.

On this street there is lots of traffic.

Traffic is things like cars and motorbikes.

You can also have foot traffic, which refers to pedestrians a pedestrian is somebody who is walking

there are three pedestrians crossing the road they're holding a green umbrella

and a blue umbrella this thing to stop us from falling off the balcony is called a railing a railing

We used to have these at school.

We used to look out to the people outside.

And at the top, this is the handrail.

All right, guys, it's still raining, so let's put up the umbrella.

Oh, the broly.

Oh, the broly, as we say in British slang.

And let's cross the road.

Let's walk across the road.

Look both ways.

right and left.

However this is a one-way roads, a one-way system.

That means the cars are only moving one way so I only have to look right.

Can't go yet, waiting at the side of the road, at the side of the road.

A mannequin is like a model that doesn't move.

This is a mannequin wearing a straw hat and a Hawaiian shirt.

That should get me a Hawaiian shirt.

Behind me is a pharmacy.

You can see the flashing lights and in the UK it's common for us to call a pharmacy a chemist.

I'm off to the chemist means I'm going to the pharmacy.

We can use them interchangeably.

And Chang has spotted a shop full of bags.

Bags, bags, bags galore.

Many, many bags.

Cute, apparently.

So right now it's drizzling.

Light rain, we say drizzling or spitting.

So let me take a seat on this bench to talk about British weather.

In Britain, it's very commonly rainy.

It doesn't pour it down, it doesn't throw it down, but it always drizzles it always spits usually the weather is gray and miserable

today the weather is great and miserable but we are feeling sunny inside

so we have a clothing store to the left there are

some bags they are being displayed in the window we say

they are on display there are three bags on display here are some more mannequins wearing a cardigan.
