Shadowing-Übung: WELCOME TO OUR WINERY - Englisch Sprechen Lernen mit Video

Lektion wird erstellt...
1
Hi guys and welcome to the new video.
2
As you may have noticed from our Instagram, we own a family-owned winery.
3
It's called BV Winery and it's one of the things
4
that we are very proud of and we've been promoting it on our Instagram
5
and we are trying to grow it as much as possible.
6
So in today's video we are at home, not in Prague.
7
so we are in the winery and we thought
8
that we will do a little tour for you
9
and show you where the vine is made where you can buy it what kind of environment it has
10
and yeah i hope you will you will enjoy it
11
and some of you possibly come
12
so let's get to the video oh guys by the way ellie drove me here i'm
13
so tired i gave her my car she's my designated driver no she wanted to do Yeah that too.
14
Guys I hate driving this guy because compared to mine it's quite like high up
15
and I feel like I'm driving a bus.
16
It's a tank.
17
It is a tank.
18
It's funny because she's so little.
19
And yeah but we got here safe.
20
Yeah, you're safe.
21
I would say I drove better than Terry drives
22
but uh that's uh I would start a very long conversation
23
that's nice let's get to the video guys hi diva okay guys guys first there's our mom there
24
say hi to the camera We have a lot of people!
25
uh built everything like this around it extra so this is um
26
there i'm the moderator here yeah i'm sorry
27
so this is a building where there is maybe going to
28
be a restaurant later as well we already have some events
29
there going on with like food pairing with wine it's always amazing you should come one day
30
and um basically inside there is a huge like kind of
31
bar we also make like um soft drinks there sometimes like lemonade
32
and stuff like that it's really nice
33
and we make the best coffee we have this like machine
34
because our dad loves good coffee
35
so he wanted to have um coffee like it very very very yeah good italian coffee
36
so that's here but also there is coffee there as well in
37
that smaller building but that's just for less people
38
and we don't do the food and wine pairing there it's just wine
39
and we have these really cool and also ellie sorry to jump in
40
but you can basically when you come in
41
and you just want a wine for takeaway home to buy some bottles you can buy it in that small building
42
yeah oh
43
and we have these really cool machines we'll show you now first let's go into the big one
44
and then but there show them the view here
45
the view this is a whole lot of nothing there is freaking vineyards it's not it's a field
46
okay coming through so guys these are the machines it's so wait i'll just show them
47
so basically how this works at the bar you get a
48
card with like certain amount of money you say I want this much I want to match whatever
49
and you pay for it
50
and then you always put the card here insert it in here in this little space
51
and you have the credits
52
and then you can just get a tasting something for 11
53
for uh then you can get a bigger one for 34
54
and then you can get quite i don't know exactly the measurements
55
but then uh it's quite a lot for 68 grounds it's like okay guys
56
and this is called a driving glass because when you drink
57
and drive and you have one of these you can most of the time still get away with it
58
so just like zero zero because in check we have zero zero
59
but yeah and then here it says what type of wine it is
60
and fun fact here always the first two numbers is the
61
year of the wine yeah this one's 22 this one's 18 yeah
62
and these okay and also you can see that there's different wines
63
and this is our standard line that's like what it starts with okay
64
and as you can maybe see i'm not sure we have a bit different
65
lines like this one is different this one like all of them are a bit different
66
and um the reason is we'll tell you that later
67
because you can't really see it so we'll show you properly with everything
68
because uh some of them are like they have velvet etiquette
69
and then some of them are the same shape
70
but don't have the velvet etiquette some of them have it
71
in black some of them have it in white some of them are like standard um
72
and we will explain that to you in a second okay guys
73
so just to show you this space so here also it's if you want to just stand here which is
74
one of my favorite positions because then you're close to the animatics
75
and you can just keep like having wine and wine
76
and wine so these are places for standing up and then
77
if you want to see this space here is where majority
78
of the events happen for example there is one degustation today at 9 am
79
so this is going to be all filled um
80
and we also like ellie said have wine pairing with food
81
and events like this which is like always um we select an event hire a cook
82
and for example last time was sushi and sushi night
83
and wine or we had like some poke bowls
84
or check food yes so many events like these and now we're getting to the bar that's the fun part
85
so here also we serve some desserts currently we have one
86
that's um family-owned recipe then we have um strawberry tiramisu
87
and mini pavlova so that is great here you can see the menus
88
guys there would because our parents also have a wood company
89
so I think it's very fitting that it's made in wood
90
and I think it looks very nice yeah so menu
91
and for me I always love these glasses I love the way this looks as well.
92
So here is the cashier, if we need some extra money we take.
93
That's joking obviously.
94
So here is just behind the bar, which is not something you would normally see.
95
So just have a quick look.
96
I wanted to say also that this is the vacuum.
97
So basically when you open a bottle and you want to close it without the wine having worse quality,
98
you basically vacuum it and that means...
99
It's not worse quality, it's for the bubbles.
100
Yeah, bubbles.
101
Yeah, bubbles.
102
So worse quality when it has no bubbles.
103
and then so you put it here and basically seal it
104
and then nothing changes with the wine
105
and here i guess we have some yeah that's exactly what i was talking about these are the soft drinks
106
that we make guys this is my absolutely favorite espresso orange
107
who hasn't tried it needs to try i hate it
108
and pink coconut i haven't had
109
that yet yeah me neither why is it with it is
110
soft no it is a soft drink no it's with alcohol yeah it's a set strawberry romance i haven't had
111
that either yeah me neither guys
112
that means these are probably our special um summer drinks we
113
always have special drinks for this not sure it's been announced so maybe you're the first ones to see
114
um and here is the coffee machine the we will definitely get a coffee later and we will show you
115
how the coffee looks
116
and we also have two different kinds of coffee this one is um excelsior yeah
117
and it's um 85 percent arabica
118
and then 15 percent robusta i actually don't know what the difference between these coffees
119
but it's fine um then we have coquito and that's 80 percent arabica 20
120
yep and and let's go outside guys let's look at outside there's more of the machines here okay
121
ciao mama okay so here we have more of the machines and then instead of glasses we have the
122
wines here on display
123
which also looks super super nice the only thing i actually don't know what is is
124
that yellow slash orange one i've never i've never tried
125
that one actually so guys this is like the most standard line it's basically just the basic bottle that we have
126
um then as i said up here we have the sparkling ones we have rosé
127
and white and it's important to say
128
that it's basically made differently than some of our sex
129
or the thing is it's not like prosecco or something like
130
that it has to kind of ferment
131
and that's how it gets the bubbles this gets the bubbles
132
just from putting co2 in the wine yeah um then we have um the reserves um
133
and basically for the wine to be reserved it has to
134
have like a specific making process i think it's like a couple months uh in the barrel
135
and then some months on the bottle and then it can become the reserve
136
so it has kind of these times
137
that it has to time slots to where it has to be on the barrel
138
and the bottle and just then it can become a reserve
139
and um we also have we have many of the reserves
140
and over here guys we have the reserve red wines you can see the color difference like
141
this one is a bit lighter gray and this one's almost like black
142
and here this one for example you can see this one
143
won a gold medal um this one's from czech republic
144
but we have also some international awards and just
145
if there is we also make uh some prosecco but um
146
if for the wines if there is something like more okay it's actually here it's the white velvet um
147
uh and it has reserve barrick and that basically means it was uh
148
when the reserve was in a barrel it had to be in a specific barrick barrel um
149
and it's like a smaller it's a specific type of wood it's oak wood
150
and it kind of gives the wine something special
151
and then guys of course one more coffee machine where here also you can just take wine wine wine also
152
but also coffee to go and what we do every morning is
153
that we we have these croissants ready um for breakfast as well
154
so guys we are here ellie showed them
155
so this is the outside behind the winery we have this big machine
156
and we are getting into the actual wine making process
157
so what's important to say right now the wines have just been made
158
so it's not really the full process
159
but then we could make another video about
160
when there's going to be the next round
161
and you can see the actual process of how it's been made we just bottled the wines for 2024
162
so right now we can just show you the empty things
163
so first off we have this machine basically what happens is
164
that what's important to say also that all of the grapes are handpicked
165
and the production is in-house so basically you put the grapes on on here
166
and it separates the grapes from the bugs and stems.
167
After that, after the grapes are clean, it goes to there.
168
You guys, by the way, this is the back of the water, which is not so glamorous.
169
You can see how much it's been renovated because it was like, all of it was like this,
170
like the yellow crustiness a little bit.
171
So after it comes from, the grapes come from there
172
and they are clean it goes to the maturation you don't want it to ferment so the the temperature
173
that said there is around four to five degrees right yes
174
after it goes to there we leave it there up to 48 hours it depends on
175
which kind of wine it is and it goes there with the skin
176
because then the wine gets some fruitiness or flavor from the wine.
177
After, from the maceration thing, it goes to this machine.
178
In Czech we call it LIS, but I actually don't know what it's called.
179
Neither, but basically what it does is that it separates the skin and the juice.
180
And that's all it does.
181
Okay, let's go inside now.
182
okay guys so after the juice
183
and the skin is separated it goes into these steel barrels
184
that are huge and we add natural yeast to them
185
and then it stays there and we use the batonage method
186
or surly method and the difference is
187
that basically either it it is mixed with the wine
188
or it lays on on the east yes so two different methods
189
so as you can see into these barrels we keep the
190
wine there for up to nine months some of them less some of them more
191
but these are only for white wine
192
so it the wine goes into there use one of the two methods and that's basically how
193
how it's made this is also only for the basic line
194
and then when you when we have reserve it's normally in the barrels
195
that we'll show you in a little bit
196
but like i said here up to nine months
197
and then it's um around four more months on the bottle
198
before it um we put it to sell on the market yes
199
so let's go to the barrels now okay we have all um not all
200
but some of the barrels these are super super huge i forgot
201
but i think it's 3 000 liters yeah 3 000 liters
202
um french uh barrel for oak barrel yeah all of our barrels are french
203
because i don't know our dad just lost them
204
but uh this is for the reserves basically
205
so um here in this we just had um white reserves actually
206
if you look up there and those little not sure i can maybe
207
if you can see them you can see
208
that there is white wine in there and those are there
209
so um no air gets into the barrel and um is
210
that the analog can be sure that they are full at all times
211
because they have to be full at all times
212
because of oxidation um
213
but anyway for the white wines it's supposed to be i
214
think 12 months on the barrel 12 months on the bottle
215
it doesn't have to be i think it doesn't have to
216
be like this is the way we like it a bit different
217
but this is how we do it it's 12 months on the barrel for the reserves
218
and this is just for white reserves as you could see
219
this is white then for the red reserves it's a bit different um
220
but yeah this is where our white reserves are and yeah we keep it 12 months
221
in the barrels 12 months in the bottle or on the bottle
222
and then we decide if we want to put it out on the market
223
because sometimes we don't it's not that we put everything out on the market
224
if our dad and the analog and the people
225
that are in charge of this are not happy about it they will never put it on the market
226
because he just wants to have high quality wine
227
so guys right now we are going to show you one of the last things
228
which is the production of the red wine um not just the red wine the barracks
229
and the red wine yes yes the bar one thing i'm going to say we found out
230
so it's 18th century it was built in 18th century
231
and there is like a castle and basically it was not part of a castle
232
but it was like it was owned probably by the people at the castle
233
and we found out that where the barrels are there's actually one wall
234
that we will show you that's still from the original wall yes
235
so let's get to it go Elška model model moment
236
okay here you can see the logo yeah guys these stairs
237
before it got renovated they were a nightmare like they were
238
so one person broke their face on it i'm not gonna name names
239
but it wasn't me just so you know i was way too young back then
240
so this is the like designated place for degustations um
241
and like the winery of course we also have degustations upstairs
242
but this is usually um where it would also be happening
243
if they want to have it here because it's kind of more like you get more the vibe, you know, more the history.
244
And you, like Elie said, it's very old.
245
You get more of the atmosphere of the old building.
246
Yeah, basically that's the whole point of our winery.
247
It's such, it's quite a historic place.
248
There's nothing this historic, I think, around here, like around in this area, except the castle, but like a winery.
249
So it's definitely nice to get these historic vibes here.
250
I'm just to experience the whole thing.
251
And then we have a massive fridge.
252
This fridge.
253
So guys, like if in the summer, if you're ever cold, you might as well come here.
254
Yeah, this whole thing is a fridge and
255
so here we have the velvet collection as ASMR guys
256
and this one actually has this one has a gold medal from Strasbourg
257
we won that quite recently it's like 2023 but I think
258
that is quite recent one i because in the wine world everything's like backwards i feel like like now in um
259
october we're just going to be releasing wines for 2024 yes okay guys
260
so here we're getting into the barrels for red wine this is the fancy stuff this is the fancy stuff
261
so what i wanted to say is that
262
all of our red wines even the standard line is put in the barrel so it's put into these barrels
263
we have either mercier baron or segwin moral
264
and for the standard line it's there for about 12 months
265
and then it's for one year on the bottle more or less it can vary from wine to wine but
266
then we have the mini reserve which is in there for um 18 months
267
and then we have the reserve or velvet line
268
which is the velvet etiquette um
269
that is in the barrel for 24 24 months yeah
270
and then it can be on the bottle up to three years
271
or yeah but i think it's three years
272
and also over it yeah yeah it can be there for
273
and guys that right there is the infamous wall that's it guys like this one
274
and by the way these uh barrels are 600 liters yeah this is the wall is the full original
275
so 1759 guys the last thing for the barrels is that you can see these up here are um smaller than
276
the ones down here um these are 225 liters and they are the barrack barrels um so the barrack
277
line all of the wines have to be from this
278
and basically how we make it is usually the same like
279
with the reserves it's just in this one specific barrel
280
so you know you can't even make that much of the wine
281
and it also has more of the woody kind of taste
282
because or whatever each of the barrels that
283
because some of them kind of add something a bit different it depends a lot on like how it's burnt
284
or something i don't know yeah it's also important to say that the red bottle the red
285
barrel for the red wine is burned differently than for the white wine yes yes exactly
286
because then for the red it's kind of you know red
287
is a bit more it has just a different taste
288
and the white it's like kind of tastes stronger I don't know how exactly to describe it
289
but for the white we really want just for the fruitiness to be there
290
and kind of the freshness that's why the barrels are not as burnt as the ones for the red wine
291
and I actually don't know if
292
burnt is the right term for it in English
293
but it's just the term we use in Czech translated
294
so yeah these are the barracks and yeah
295
that that's everything for the barrel yeah guys
296
and last thing I want to say I forgot to say about the red wine is
297
that some time for the reserve the person the winemaker plays around with it
298
and let's say he separates the wine into two barrels
299
and one barrel will give it more of a fruitness
300
and the other one more of a wood or chocolate taste
301
and then you can put them into the steel container
302
that we showed you earlier and mix them and
303
that will give you the perfect wine so that is something
304
that you can do for the reserve as well play around yeah
305
and this is the last thing we'll show you with the barrels
306
and it's like a photo and take a picture with all the barrels
307
very uh being the alcohol this is this is the perks
308
of having a binary nine six guys it's five p.m somewhere
309
so the way this works is you put the card in hopefully i'm putting it in the right way
310
because you never know and you grab a glass this one
311
and I will just have the driving one because I drive the go-kart in a bit
312
good now you take the card out you spend I don't know how much is it nine crown check crown
313
so basically nothing and you swirl around you smell and you drink
314
how is it there it's amazing as always so we have the drinks here
315
fair is having the orange guys this is what i was telling you about at the beginning
316
okay she's having oranges with espresso
317
and i'm just having an iced coffee iced latte um it's a lot of milk
318
but uh i'm gonna i love it guys i love milk
319
uh i mean coffee flavored milk yeah that's really sure what it is
320
so anyway we hope you enjoyed this video we hope you like the winery
321
and we hope you visit definitely and if you're interested in anything like more from here or anything like that,
322
let us know, because we can definitely film it for you guys.
323
And let us know in the comments whatever else you might be interested in from this place, or whatever other content it may be.
324
And we hope you enjoyed this video, and we hope to see you on the next one.
325
Bye.

Kontext und Hintergrund

Schritt-für-Schritt-Shadowing-Guide
