1
Welcome to this video series where we're going to be covering PCBs.
2
My name is Paul Adams from SofEast and I should be your host throughout the series.
3
So let's have a look at the videos we have so far.
4
In video one we have the PCB basics.
5
We're going to be looking at the difference between a PCB and a PCBA.
6
We're going to be looking at the PCB construction.
7
In video two we're going to be covering the SMT process
8
and I've broken this down into three separate sections so this will be part one of three.
9
In part one we're going to be looking at the solder paste application, the component placement.
10
In the SMT process part two video we're going to be looking at the reflow soldering process
11
and the cleaning process or the phase.
12
In part three of this series of SMT process we're going to be covering the electrical testing
13
and then in video five we're going to be covering the inspection methods and common defects.
14
In particular we're going to be looking at solder paste issues,
15
pick and place issues, wave soldering issues.
16
In video 6 in the series we're going to be covering reliability testing.
17
We're going to be looking specifically at reliability and durability,
18
temperature and humidity, and vibration.
19
We're also going to be covering mechanical shock, and HALT and HAS testing.
