Whether you realize it or not, it isn't just a disservice to the students of our county, but a slap in the face.

Numerous studies show how AI is hurting our brain development of those who are using it.

A student is completely capable of writing essays, completing assignments, and interacting with people without using AI.

That's not even considering the environmental side of things.

For a county so anti -data center, we are actively funding them across the country by letting our students use AI to such level.

Every sentence generated, every image created is another dollar to these large AI companies.

Allowing AI to run off the rails how it is isn't just teaching generations about a tool of the future, it is allowing the climate to collapse into more dangerous levels,

all while making us too stupid to recognize it's right in front of our face until it's too late.

I advise you all to figure out how to regulate AI usage in schools, or else you'll keep spitting in the faces of writers, authors, filmmakers, environmental law lovers,

along with every single student in this county, whether they're aware of it or not.
