1
So you have a goal, a vision.
2
And for whatever reason, you can't bring yourself to do the things that you need to do in order to get there.
3
And it almost doesn't make sense.
4
Like, how can you want something so bad?
5
Like, I know that feeling.
6
I know how amped up you probably get thinking about that thing.
7
You know, living that lifestyle, being that person, having that freedom, you know,
8
all those things like it invokes like this invigorating adrenaline it
9
makes you feel alive you know it gives you goosebumps
10
when you think about it so how can you want
11
that thing so bad and still just not be willing to do the things
12
that you need to do and it's not like this the things
13
that you need to be doing are difficult in any way or are a mystery you know like everyone knows
14
what to do.
15
All the information is out there online.
16
You can find a ton of YouTube videos on how to do pretty much anything in this world.
17
Start any kind of business.
18
You can learn how to become an artist.
19
You can learn how to do anything.
20
You can learn how to become a chef.
21
Like you can literally learn anything on the internet nowadays.
22
So it's not a matter of how.
23
It's a matter of will.
24
Where do you find the will?
25
Evidently, it's not going to be motivation.
26
because motivation doesn't trump laziness, you know, because motivation is temporary.
27
That's why when you think about your goal or your vision, you maybe get amped up and, you know, you might work at it for a week or two weeks or maybe even a month,
28
but eventually you burn out and like you just go back to square one.
29
And it's just like this repeating, endless, dreadful cycle.
30
So what needs to change?
31
How do we find the will?
32
Many of us are too focused on everything that's going on out here, external factors, right?
33
And when the physical world doesn't reflect what we want in our minds,
34
it leaves us frustrated and confused and exhausted and discouraged
35
and a whole bunch of other things that no one wants to feel.
36
whereas what needs to happen is we need to embody the person
37
that we want to become on the inside we need to
38
adopt their mindset we need to adopt their mental framework we need to replicate their behaviors
39
and naturally the physical realm will kind of just reflect
40
that now this probably isn't the first time you heard someone say this like you need to adopt the mindset first.
41
But I want to really specify something
42
because a lot of people go at this the completely wrong
43
way you need to really immerse yourself in this like this
44
is a very involved process this isn't like you just tell yourself um a few positive affirmations
45
and you meditate for 10 minutes
46
and call it a day no like this is a you need to rework your your internal system here.
47
Like this is a deep rooting issue.
48
Because what you're asking to change is you, your identity, who you are.
49
Right?
50
Good news is once you actually make this change, you pretty much win at that point.
51
Like that's the hard part.
52
Everything else just kind of follows because all
53
that life is is a projection of what's going on in here
54
so if you can get this right
55
if you can align this with what you truly want um everything will just kind of fall into place after
56
that so but i want to make that clear like this isn't you have to you have to really
57
immerse yourself in this process.
58
I did this through a form of self-hypnosis.
59
I would isolate my mind.
60
I would turn off all the lights, get rid of all the distractions.
61
I would make sure my environment was silent
62
and I would get into a very relaxed state almost where everything kind of around me just disappeared.
63
And I was really able to focus all of my energy on me.
64
What this gave me the ability to do was look deeply into my subconscious,
65
into why I did certain things, what I truly wanted in life,
66
why I wanted them, what was truly preventing me from getting there,
67
What were things that I most needed to change about my current self to better reflect who I wanted to become?
68
Like these kinds of things.
69
And I was able to really hyper fixate on them in this kind of state.
70
what I noticed was when you really isolate yourself your mind
71
and you put yourself one-on-one with your weaknesses the things that you must change the things that you need to
72
improve on in order to reflect the person
73
that you're trying to become you you rapidly transform like you evolve at a rate
74
that you might not even imagine is possible and I mean truly like that's the only way to do it.
75
But many of us are too distracted on our phones
76
or watching TV or youtube or who knows what else like going to the club
77
or going out partying or whatever you do i don't know
78
but playing video games um the list goes on and on
79
and on we live in a world of distraction
80
and temptation it's i mean i would say 99% of people
81
really don't give themselves any time out of the day to do this kind of thing at any level.
82
So you get a whole bunch of people saying
83
that they want to change or they have a goal and they don't understand why they can't pursue it at any rate.
84
And it's like, you know, once you look at it from this perspective, it's almost laughable because it makes no sense like why would you think
85
that you could change if you're not giving yourself
86
any time out every day to to see where you need to change
87
so i want you to know like the most powerful tool
88
that you can possibly utilize is self-reflection
89
and um patience as well you know like the longer you can sit with yourself
90
and really like every answer every question
91
that you have all the information is is within it's nowhere
92
else you're not going to get it on a youtube video
93
you're not going to get it reading a book youtube videos are great books are amazing i'm not saying
94
that they're not useful
95
but in this case what we're trying to do is like
96
i said like rewire our internal system we need to wipe away the crappy foundation we're currently standing on
97
and rebuild it to replicate the foundation we need in order to build this grand structure
98
that we're trying to become you're not going to get
99
that through a youtube video or a book
100
or by talking to any like it it's an internal process
101
that needs to happen does that make sense you know
102
and by extension in order to in order for
103
that internal process to really take place
104
that in its full form you need to you need to isolate yourself
105
and you need to immerse yourself in
106
that you know like i'm having trouble to fully accurately like describe it
107
but i feel like you probably are kind of getting what i'm saying
108
but i do promise you
109
when you practice this like give it a week okay give it a week
110
and see where you end up give yourself an hour out of the day and get rid of all the distractions,
111
turn off the lights, and just focus on your breathing.
112
Ask yourself, what do you truly want?
113
What type of person do you want to become?
114
How do they operate?
115
What is their lifestyle like?
116
What are their motives?
117
What are their values?
118
Do any of those things differ from who we currently are?
119
Why are those differences rooted in something in our past?
120
What are ways that we can go about changing them or improving them?
121
you know like you just have to ask yourself questions that's
122
really it it's very simple thing it's not like it's not
123
rocket science you just have to be with yourself ask yourself questions listen to your own answers
124
and you'll just naturally be guided down the right path I promise you
125
and you'll you'll acquire this new perspective that kind of opens up a whole new dimension
126
of life for you and we're getting down a whatever uh road now but your issue is not laziness
127
your issue is you're not listening to yourself you're constantly being distracted you're constantly preoccupied
128
you need to just listen to yourself you know and
129
and identify who you want to become like i said before
130
all reality is is a projection of what's going on in here
131
so that's your main priority
132
if you can straighten this out laziness is just a mirror it's not even relevant at
133
that point laziness is such a surface level issue that's not the deep rooting cause of why you're not making any progress.
134
You're not listening to yourself.
135
That's the root cause.
136
So dedicate like even just an hour out of your day to just be alone in an isolated environment.
137
Isolate your mind.
138
Identify like what your vision is.
139
Who do you want to become?
140
How does that person behave?
141
How do they operate? um what about us defers from
142
that what's limiting us what do we need to change the
143
more you sit with yourself these answers will kind of just
144
reveal themselves to you like i said you'll grow at a rate
145
that you probably didn't even think was possible it's just you
146
have to start doing it all this is just noise
147
and distraction right now you are your answer so hopefully that resonated
148
and made some sense for you guys keep me updated on your progress i do look at the comments um
149
and if you haven't subscribed subscribe
150
because every single one of my videos covers a deep uh issue
151
or topic of discussion when it comes to personal development thank you for watching

  • "it almost doesn't make sense": "거의 이해가 안 돼"라는 뜻으로, 논리적 모순이나 놀라운 상황을 표현할 때 자주 사용됩니다. 예를 들어 "She hates coffee but drinks it every day—it almost doesn't make sense"처럼 사용할 수 있습니다.
  • "trump laziness": "게으름을 이기다"는 의미로, "trump"은 "~보다 우위에 서다"라는 뜻입니다. 동기부여가 게으름을 이기지 못할 때 이 표현을 사용해요. "Motivation can't trump laziness if you don't have a clear goal"과 같이 쓸 수 있습니다.
  • "embody the person": "그 사람이 되어 살다" 또는 "그 사람의 특성을 지니다"는 뜻입니다. 목표로 하는 사람이 되기 위해 내면에서 변화해야 할 때 사용합니다. "To succeed, you need to embody the habits of a successful person"처럼 활용할 수 있습니다.
