Shadowing Practice: building a PC with *180mm* case fans - Learn English Speaking with Video

Creating lesson...
1
Let's build a PC using these enormous 180 millimeter case fans, which are much larger than the standard 120.
2
They can generate higher airflow with lower speeds, but might not fit inside of your typical case.
3
So today we'll be using the brand new Haven BF360.
4
Despite it being a mid-tower case, it can actually fit four 180s.
5
Two come pre-installed in the flow variation of this case, and we can install two more up top here.
6
Airflow on this is going to be crazy.
7
All right, let's put a PC in here.
8
Yeah, that's pretty clean.
9
Completely blacked out build with a tiny bit of red accent from our 7900 XTX.
10
This is gonna be a real nice looking PC if I don't totally butcher the cable management.
11
Thankfully, on the backside of the case, there's a ton of cable channels, plus a built-in six-slot fan controller.
12
Although, since we have four 180s and they were designed to easily daisy-chain together, we're not gonna use up all of these slots anyway.
13
But now, as we plug the rest of the cables in, if you're a keen observer, you might have also noticed this ramp right here, whose job is to actually redirect intake airflow to hit the GPU to cool it even further.
14
That's pretty unique.
15
But now it's time to see these 180 millimeter fans in action.
16
This airflow is actually nuts.
17
Like, you could feel the air way over here.
18
And because we have these two 180s up top, you can see just how far the air is exhausting.
19
This is nuts.
20
What do you think of how this build came together?
21
I think it's pretty sweet.
22
So if you're looking for a high airflow mid-tower case, would highly recommend this Haven BF360.
23
On top of that, you can grab the fans themselves separately.
24
The H-series comes in the 180 millimeter as well as 140 and 120 as well.
25
I'll leave some additional info about all this stuff on my profile in case you want to check it out.

About This Lesson

You're practicing English with "building a PC with *180mm* case fans" using the Shadowing technique — a method originally developed for professional interpreter training.

Focus on sounding like the speaker — not just repeating words. With 15–30 minutes of daily practice, you'll build real-world speaking confidence.

What is the Shadowing Technique?

Shadowing is a science-backed language learning technique originally developed for professional interpreter training and popularized by polyglot Dr. Alexander Arguelles. The method is simple but powerful: you listen to native English audio and immediately repeat it out loud — like a shadow following the speaker with just a 1–2 second delay. Unlike passive listening or grammar drills, shadowing forces your brain and mouth muscles to simultaneously process and reproduce real speech patterns. Research shows it significantly improves pronunciation accuracy, intonation, rhythm, connected speech, listening comprehension, and speaking fluency — making it one of the most effective methods for IELTS Speaking preparation and real-world English communication.
