Gaslighting is a common form of manipulation that occurs when one person tries to control and deceive another.

And this form of witchcraft can take place in any relationship.

And it's tough to know what to say when they dismiss your experience or disregard your feelings,

but the truth is, it's more complicated than just say this, not that.

And to know how to respond when someone gaslights you, there are important steps that you need to take.

Step number one, determine if it's actually gaslighting.

Truth is, not every denial and difference of opinion is gaslighting.

Step number two, identify your own triggers.

Identifying what triggers you is going to help you to grow.

Step number three is know the truth.

If your identity is wrapped up in this person, you will stand on very shaky ground.

Step number four is to speak the truth in love.

Once you've taken the other steps, you're more likely to respond in a calm, Christ -like manner.
