Today's Saturday and when I woke up this morning at 10 o 'clock it was raining.

I woke up at 10 o 'clock because I don't work on Saturdays and I wanted to sleep a bit more.

I usually wake up at 9 or 10 o 'clock on Saturdays and Sundays because I love sleeping.

I looked out the window and saw that it was raining,

so I was sad because I wanted to do something outside.

I wanted to go to the park, to go for a walk and do something nice, not stay at home.

I don't like staying at home at the weekend because I think it's boring.

So I started to think about what I could do on a rainy Saturday at home.

First I made my breakfast, I had a cup of tea and some toast.

My favourite thing to have on toast is jam, so I had jam on toast.

I had breakfast on the sofa and while I was eating,

I read the news on my mobile phone.

Then I went on the YouTube app and saw that one of my favourite YouTubers had a new video.

In this video she was baking a cake.

It was a chocolate cake and it looked very nice,

so I thought that it would be a good idea to bake this cake this morning.

I didn't have anything else to do and I thought

that it would be delicious to eat it later in the afternoon on a rainy day.

I went back to the kitchen and checked that I had the ingredients.

I needed some flour, some salt,

some water, two eggs, some milk,

some sugar, some vegetable oil and some cocoa powder.

I looked in my kitchen but i didn't have any cocoa powder

which you need to make a chocolate cake

if not it would be a normal cake one of my neighbors is my friend

so i decided to take a shower get dressed

and go to my friend's house to go and ask for some cocoa powder.

It was about eleven o 'clock and I knew that my friend wakes up early because she has got two young children.

Her children usually wake up at seven o 'clock in the morning so I knew that she would be awake.

I ran to her house quickly because it was raining and I asked her if she had any cocoa powder.

I told her about my plan, my plan to make a chocolate cake this morning.

She said that she didn't have anything to do with her two young children

so she asked me why don't you stay here and we can make the chocolate cake all together.

Her children are five and six years old so they are old enough to help to make the chocolate cake.

In the end I stayed at her house until about two o 'clock.

I had lunch there with her and her family at about half past one after we had made the chocolate cake.

We had some sandwiches and some orange juice.

When I got home I decided to watch a movie.

I turned on my computer and my TV and opened Netflix to choose a good movie to watch.

I went to the kitchen to see if I had any popcorn because I love eating popcorn while I watch a movie.

I think that it makes you feel like you're at the cinema.

I finished the movie at about half past five

and it had stopped raining

so I took my dog for a walk my dog hates the rain

so he doesn't like going for a walk in the morning

when it's raining he only goes outside in the garden

because he didn't go for a walk in the morning i

took him for a long walk in the afternoon we were

outside for about two hours we went to the park work

and then we went for a walk in the forest which is near my house.

We saw a lot of people on our walk and we stopped to talk with them.

Everyone was saying that they were so happy that it had stopped raining

because they didn't know what to do on such a rainy day.

After my walk I got back and it was quite late but I knew that I had to go shopping

because I didn't have any basic food like pasta or rice or meat.

The supermarket which is near my house is open until 9 o 'clock

so I had enough time to go and buy all the food that I needed.

I usually go shopping at the weekend

because I don't have time to go from Monday to Friday

because I have to go to work and then in the afternoon I have activities like my sports and music classes.

When I go shopping on a Saturday evening there aren't a lot of people in the shop

so it's quite good because you can do your shopping very quickly and that's what I like.

I don't like to spend hours and hours doing my shopping.
