My friends, this is a video I honestly never thought I would have to make.

On Thursday, Bargaming kicked me from content creator program.

I didn't expect this to happen.

And I took a moment to let everything sink in before letting you know.

And today I want to share with you full story

because I think you deserve to know what happened as well

as what is the meaning of this for the future of the channel.

I am making this video only to inform you about a situation

and would like to ask you not to take it as a reason to harass or pressure anyone.

so about a month ago vargaming introduced multi-tier loot boxes with

their roam filter event i'm talking about loot boxes within the

loot boxes within the loot boxes where you have to through three different levels

if you wanted to receive all of the things This event put me in a tough dilemma.

On one hand, there were seven new things that, as a content creator, I wanted to cover.

Making videos about new things is always attractive content, both in terms of views and revenue.

But on the other hand,

the content was locked behind a gambling practice that was much more aggressive than everything we've seen before.

And I felt that no matter how I make a video about these things,

I'm going to promote a system that I strongly disagree with.

so before the start of the event lanikia

and i spent a lot of time thinking how we should

handle this situation at first we were considering making videos with

a disclaimer at the beginning saying something like we do not support these boxes

but how can i say at the start of the video

that I don't recommend buying them and then show you how fun the tanks are basically promoting it

therefore we've made a very difficult personal decision not to create

videos featuring these tanks for as long as the loot boxes were on sale.

And in our video about the event, I asked you to vote with your wallet because I hoped

that together we could show Wargaming that these loot boxes felt problematic both for the players and to us, content creators.

Specifically, I said this.

To everyone watching, my advice is very simple.

Do not buy these boxes.

If we collectively refuse to support this practice financially, Vargaming will have no choice but to listen.

And please, let me know your thoughts in the comments, especially how I should handle the new things going forward.

I want to ensure that we are on the same page, guys.

The clip that we just show is the reason Vargaming cited for kicking me from the program.

On Thursday, Vargaming invited us to a call where they informed us that I am being removed from CC program.

To us, this came completely out of the blue because there were no prior conversations,

warnings, or anything that would suggest an outcome like this during last month.

They followed up with a written message, which I'm allowed to share with you here.

I decided not to show the name of the person who sent it

because I want to respect Wargaming's community managers since they're just doing their job and I don't want them to be targeted.

Wargaming says this decision is not about opinions I shared about the loot boxes.

and that they respect the right of creators to express themselves.

Instead, they say that my call to action, the one that you just heard, violated rule number eight of CC program,

which states, participation in or condoning of bullying or actions designed to incite,

offend or create unrest in our community is not permitted.

According to Wargaming, me asking you not to buy loot boxes caused harm to other content creators,

to the players, and their stuff.

Also, they gave a second reason.

The video was translated into Chinese by the community members.

For context, if you didn't know, we have Chinese community, and some of the members of

that community decided to voluntarily add Chinese subtitles to our videos and post them on Chinese YouTube platform called Bilibili

because there are quite a few people in China who want to watch my videos but don't speak English.

So this is what happened and the reason why I got kicked from CC program.

With this you can make up your own mind.

But here's what I think about it.

I stand by what I said in the video.

I didn't attack anyone, I never called out other creators, I didn't harass, bully or insult anyone.

I didn't ask or encourage anyone to do any of that.

I only shared my opinion about the event and encouraged people to make peaceful,

personal choice not to support a monetization system that I believe is bad both for the players and content creators.

I don't think that my message should be considered a violation.

If this is inciting unrest, I am worried about the CC program and the path Wargaming is taking.

As creators, we are being encouraged by Wargaming to share our opinion all the time and even voice criticism.

But this decision doesn't feel like support for free expression.

This isn't the kind of environment that encourages honest discussion or community trust.

Regarding the Bilibili post, we've had loyal Chinese-speaking community members supporting my work for years.

They've asked if I'm fine with them adding subtitles to my videos

so that others in the region can engage with my content.

And I don't see an issue with this.

They do this fully voluntarily without any obligations.

Personally, I'm not involved in translations because I don't speak Chinese,

but I have no reason to believe that they are not done in good faith.

I truly believe that the real unrest was caused by the monetization event that was new and controversial,

and not by my video.

It makes me sad that my video may have been perceived as the primal source for unrest

because that's just the last thing that i would want for the game

that i love now finally what does all of this mean for the future of this channel

losing cc status means

that i no longer have access to press account i will

not be able to to participate in CC CC-only events and get special drops on Twitch.

I won't be able to get early access to new tanks

that are coming into the game and hence won't be able to prepare videos on them on time.

All of this is very unfortunate and going to make things a lot harder for me.

Losing such content opportunities will also hurt financially.

But here's what doesn't change.

I will stay here.

I will have my voice, my passion for making videos, and most importantly, you.

An amazing community.

It was always my goal to be honest with you.

When I thought that Wargaming was doing something right, I said so.

When I felt they were unfairly attacked,

I defended them, even when some of you didn't agree with my decision and criticized me for it.

But now, I disagreed with Wargaming's approach to the recent loot boxes and shared my thoughts openly,

even though this time my perspective wasn't well received on their side.

But I'm going to stay true to myself.

Ultimately, guys, I don't make videos for gaming.
