Hello and welcome back, Kirsty here, your YouTube English coach.
3
Today we're having a friendly coffee and a chat.
4
I'll ask you some questions and you can either answer them by using the prompts on the screen
5
or answer them simply using your own words.
6
I'll then answer the questions myself to give you an example answer.
7
So that we can get to know each other better, I will be giving you my true and unfiltered answers.
8
Are you ready?
9
Make sure you hit pause after I ask the questions so that you have the time to answer.
10
Okay, let's get started.
11
So what are you having?
12
Are you a tea or a coffee person?
13
I usually drink tea with a splash of milk, but I'm too tired this morning.
14

30
I love the social aspect of my job.
31
Because people need to expand their English vocabulary, I get to talk to people about all different topics every day, so it's never boring.

You have to enjoy talking to do my job, obviously, but that's not a problem for me.
33
So where did you grow up?
34
I grew up in Liverpool, in the northwest of England.

61
that I loved I'll send you the title and the author do you prefer books movies or podcasts Good question.
62
If I had to choose one, I'd probably say movies for the immersive experience.
63
A great film can really transport you to another place, you know?
64
But I also enjoy reading, especially when I have more time to dive into a good book.
65
Change of subject, but have you seen how many flash floods have been on the news lately?

75
Climate change really worries me.
76
So are you doing anything interesting tonight?
77
We'll probably get some takeout from my favourite Italian place by our house.
78
We might go to the cinema too, so nothing very interesting really. And you?
79
I'm invited to a friend's place for dinner.
80
Actually, I need to get going because I have shopping to do before tonight.
81

I'll see you soon.
89
And there you have it.
90
How did you do?
91
Did you manage to answer all of the questions?
92
Now, I want you to try and ask a friend
93
or a colleague a couple of these questions to try
94
and get to know them better better the great thing about these questions is
95
that they work in both relaxed work settings
96
and in casual conversation with friends making them super versatile don't
97
forget to keep the conversation flowing by returning the question at
98
the end of your answers simply ask how about you
99
or what do you think at the end of your answers this helps create a natural and engaging discussion.
100
Now that you know more about me, I would love to know more about you.
101
So please leave me some of your answers below in the comments.
102
As always, I absolutely love hearing from you and I answer my messages personally.

Về Bài Học Này

Bạn đang luyện tập phát âm tiếng Anh với video "How to actually improve your Everyday English Speaking Skills: English conversation practice" bằng phương pháp Shadowing — kỹ thuật được Dr. Alexander Arguelles phổ biến rộng rãi.
