Let's take a look at the Fender Player Series Telecaster guitars.

The Player Series is the evolution of the standard line of Fender instruments now with more modern features, cool new colors, and amazing playability, incredible quality at the entry level to the Fender universe with truly authentic and classic models.

The Player Series Telecaster models are offered in two pickup configurations, the traditional two single coil model, as well as the 2 humbucker model.

So the tone you heard up top is the guitar plugged directly into the Bassbreaker 30R on the gain channel, no pedals.

So these features are shared across both models.

We have an alder body, a well-balanced tone with a little more emphasis in the upper mid-range, an excellent sustain, and sharp attack.

And on the neck, we have a modern C-shaped profile which works for just about any playing style.

This model features a 9 and 1/2 inch radius and at 22 fret neck with medium and jumbo frets.

Now we have a satin finish on the back of the neck and glass in the front.

So it looks nice upfront front.

And on the back, we do satin, so that if you're playing live and you're sweating, your hands won't stick to the back of the neck, which is a nice feature.

And then on the controls, we have your master volume, we have a master tone, and then your traditional Telecaster 3-way pickup selector switch.

So on the bridge, we have your Telecaster bridge with six saddles.

And it's strung through the body.

So let's talk about the pickups and run down the two configurations that are available to you in the Player Telecaster Series.

Here I have the two single coil version.

Now these pickups are Alnico 5 pickups, which give you a well-balanced tone across bass, middle, and treble, a very open tone with that classic Fender sparkle.

So I'm plugged into the Bassbreaker 30R on the clean channel.

Let's hear the guitar.

OK, so now I switched over to the Tele HH, the double humbucker model, this one in a beautiful sunburst finish.

Let's talk about the differences between this one and the two single coil model.

This guitar features two Alnico 2 humbuckers for a smooth classic tone with a bit more mids.

As well, the bridge features 6 bent steel saddles.

And the last difference would be the push-pull pot on the tone nub.

So you can have either full on humbucker tone, or you can pull up and get single coil tones.

So I'm still plugged in to the Bassbreaker 30R, this time on the gain channel.

And I cranked up the gain just a little bit.
