8
So a subscriber to this channel asked me a question about my favorite adverbs, my favorite words.
9
And he mentioned a lot of adverbs in his comments.
10
So thank you, Shaheed Masoom, for your comment.
11
So guys, adverbs.
12
Adverbs are the best way to raise your score, to fit in impressive vocabulary.
13
So remember, adverbs go before adjectives, all right?
14
So if you're not using adjectives and adverbs, that is a problem for your vocabulary score.
15
You have to use adverbs and adjectives, you guys, to describe and be specific with your answers in speaking and writing.
16
So most of these adverbs are basically the same as very.
17
All right.
18
So don't use very or really anymore.
19
Use these words.
20
My favorites.
21
These are simple, incredibly, amazingly, awesomely.
22
So those are simple.
23
Those are best for speaking part one and part two.
24
Okay.
25
Let's get, let's get better.
26
Fabulously.
27
That's great for part one and part two, but not a lot of students use it.
28
So that's like really good, really positive.
29
Also stupendously, stupendously delicious, stupendously beautiful.
30
Stupendously also very positive, right?
31
It means like excellent, very much excellent.
32
Okay.
33
Um, tremendously.
34
So tremendously, it's okay.
35
I don't like it just because our president says it all the time, but IELTS examiners are fine with it.
36
Um, so tremendously can be either positive or negative.
37
So that's good to note.
38
Um, also staggeringly use staggeringly instead.
39
So tremendously and stagger staggeringly.
40
These are the same as hugely.
41
So it's more about like size or amount, right?
42
And again, could be positive or negative.
43
Staggeringly, I think is better in a negative sense, but could still be positive.
44
Okay.
45
But use those for more huge things for time and amount numbers.
46
Okay.
47
Um, now negative adverbs, shockingly or atrociously.
48
Great negative adverbs to mean very, very bad.
49
All right, guys, look below this video with the description.
50
So you know how to spell all of these words, repeat the words after me, watch this video a couple times so you can practice the pronunciation.

关于本课

您正在使用跟读技巧通过视频"Favorite IELTS Adverbs for Speaking and Writing"练习英语口语和发音。
