so hatsumode is basically you go to the shrine do fortune telling japanese style pray at shrine leave shrine

and i went to kyoto to visit

i think that's how you say it the kanji is like fushimi inari

but my mom calls it fushimini so i'm just gonna call it

that fushimini is a famous shrine because oh gosh there's like

so many people every year

but i'm telling you it was another level this year the

roads were closed off the parking lot we would use every year wasn't available for some reason

and my mom was raging the whole time like all these damn foreigners forgetting

that one is sitting right next to her

that was a long ride man just for a damn parking lot bro oh my god

so we get out of the car

and i'm just hyping myself up to climb all those stairs

there's like 1300 stairs there bro oh gosh bless my soul

because every year my dumbass be forgetting how mentally

and physically tiring it is to get to the top for a few minutes it was just me

and my mom and a few people around

but the moment we cross the train tracks bro the amount of people

that just spawned out of nowhere

and to be honest after seeing all them japanese people daily all the time to see

so many foreign people walking around

so casually it felt like i was in disneyland bro i will not elaborate on

that first we did omikuji basically just imagine fortune telling

but in japanese and also in riddles that gives me

that nostalgic feeling of not understanding
