good morning everybody it feels like such a long time since i've turned on my camera

and actually as an fyi this is an entirely new camera

because did we say this already in vloggust i don't know

if we did but on the day of otty's party alfie accidentally broke my vlogging camera

so we were then using alfie's camera to finish vloggust uh we took

that away on holiday

and alfie took it in the sea with this waterproof casing

on it was it waterproof on this occasion no it wasn't

so that was another g7x down the pan um

so i feel like between alfie and i we have got through

so many canon g7x's and i've just ordered a new one in order to sit down

and bring you this vlog in this little bit of time i have between coming back from one holiday

and then going on another which is like the most unzoey sentence ever so i

so i'd always plan to make this video as a kind

of holiday update pregnancy update moving into autumn just having a

bit of a catch -up really i wanted to sit down

and just get ready with you

and make this like a one -off video was not expecting

to also be updating you on this i will get into this in the video

that happened on holiday um

if you don't follow me on Instagram I am now an

engaged woman I can like chat you through a bit of that

but yeah I just thought it'd be nice to do something

a little different um don't have too much time today as

I said we've got like two days three days in between coming back from one holiday

and then Alfie

and I are going away again together just the two of

us I want to be able to like sit down

and fill you guys in on this little bit of the day

that I've got um so that's what I'm gonna do

if you haven't already grab yourself a drink grab yourself a little snack get cozy

or we can just get ready together let's do

that depends what time of day you're watching this i suppose we've come back from holiday

and i feel like we've come back to autumn like it's

blustery there's leaves everywhere i can see the leaves are changing

color it's kind of cozy it's like really rainy out today

it's actually kind of dark like i'm literally having to turn all the lights on

and open all the blinds fully so

that you can actually see what I'm doing to my face um

which does feel quite nice however we are now going on holiday again

so I need to like get back into like the being in the sun mindset before we get back

and then I think I'm just gonna go like full autumn

so I feel like I'm kind of holding back a little

bit um I'm just gonna wait for this little like mini vacay with me

and Alfie and then I think I'm just gonna go full on autumn

haven't even unpacked my holiday makeup bag because i'm just going to be taking it again

uh when we go tomorrow so i have nothing on my face yet

but i have just washed it and toned it ready for my serum

and my moisturizer now this is actually a new product i'm

very excited to chat to you about i took it away

on holiday with me i've been trialing it for a couple

of weeks before its launch on the 26th of september

and i think you guys are gonna really love it

because i am enjoying using it a lot it is this from drunk elephant it's the be goldie bright drops

and i mean you guys know how much i love the

de bronzy drops i took both of these away on holiday these are basically just my holiday essentials

so it is a serum um that i have been mixing in with my moisturizer

but it just gives your skin this beautiful luminous glow it feels like the perfect base for your makeup

or to start your day or even

if you're having a bit of a no makeup day it just makes you look a little bit more alive

which i need right now

because my energy levels are on the floor the reason i think i love this

so much is because it has one of my favorite skincare ingredients ever

which is niacinamide it has five percent niacinamide

which is known to help reduce any kind of spot marks

or discoloration it's basically the best ingredient for you

if you want to get a little bit more of an even skin tone or complexion.

So it's absolutely perfect for me in that sense.

I would say niacinamide is definitely something that I actively look for

and make sure I have somewhere in my skincare routine at all times because I just notice it makes the biggest difference.

I'm not one of these people that is blessed with perfect skin, never have been.

So anytime that I get a spot or a blemish,

which is fairly often, I always find the mark it leaves just just takes a lot longer than people

that I know so that is why niacinamide is amazing for me

because it's the skincare ingredient that I notice makes the most difference to my skin

so I'm going to pop a little bit of this on with my Drunk Elephant La La Retro whipped cream

and show you what it looks like before I get started on my makeup

squeeze a little bit in there with

that i need to clip my hair out the way do i have my clips yes i do there's one

so as you can see it just makes my skin look just more glowy and healthy

and also i love that you can use it on any other different parts of your body

so if you want your legs to have a little bit of a sheen

or your arms or like your collarbone or anywhere you want to put it

so as i mentioned the drunk elephant be goldie bright drops will be launching on the 26th of september

so keep your eyes peeled for that i feel like

so lovely to be away to be somewhere

that we had to get to on an airplane

because i haven't done that in so long

and it was also just really nice to experience a holiday with otty at the age

that she's at i just i freaking love this age

so much i just feel like you get so much back

and it's so fun and their little personalities are coming out

and like her little personality really shone

and she had a good time she loved the plane i made her these little like plane packs

so i popped things like stickers

and made her a little pencil case with um with some of the color wonder um felt tips

and coloring in pages for any of you with toddlers those are amazing

because they have no colour in the felt tip pens but

when you put them on the paper the colour comes out

which is perfect for an aeroplane when you're not too sure

if your child is going to like draw all over the table she didn't

but still I have to say I think stickers went down the best stickers

and we loaded up her little amazon fire with some of her favorite tv shows um

so we had like paddington bear and obviously the film matilda

which she's obsessed with she actually loved it she loved it

far more than i did i was actually fine anxiety wise

we got there guys we got there it had its hairy moments

and I definitely didn't find it easy but it was

so totally worth it um and I'm doing it all again tomorrow

so that's probably a good thing um

but I'm not leaving like a big gap between doing it again

but yeah it was just the most amazing time away and I just felt very grateful and lucky and

oh fire alarm's going off albie's currently cooking lunch just needed

to check there was no actual fire there isn't they're all

good um yeah just it was just a lovely amazing time away

and it was very much needed and we all had a really lovely time

but yeah it was lovely to be back in mykonos ate

some lovely food played in the pool it was quite windy

for like the first half of the week um Mykonos is always kind of windy

which we were quite prepared for but this was like 40 mile an hour winds

so there was a lot of like games and like things

that we did inside for a bit

because like sitting outside was just like you're gonna get swept away

but it was all part of the fun it was a glorious holiday I don't even really know

if I got the sun

that much you know I didn't really sit out too much um yeah as I said Alfie

and I are now off on a I'm gonna call it

a baby moon with Otty I feel like we were still in kind of pandemic times

so I don't think did we go anywhere in the UK maybe I actually can't remember um

but we were planning to go to the Maldives in March 2020

and then that just never happened obviously

so we really wanted to book another holiday just the two of us get away we can appreciate

that it's going to be much harder to do

that once we have two and once the new baby is like much younger

so we were just like let's just do it

and the only time that we could do it was like now

so that is why this feels very back to back

but i'm really excited we are going to rhodes

so back to greece we go and we are staying at a hotel called kasakuk

which is a place that poppy and sean have been to a couple of times

and then alfie's parents also went in the summer

and they just look like they had the best time it's

one of those places where you don't really leave the hotel

you kind of go down for breakfast you sit by the

pool you read books like i'm not really an adventure holiday kind of gal right now anyway um

so it just felt like the perfect thing for us to

do it's gonna be very very nice i pressed a few buttons i hope you can still hear me

and see me it was just looking very blue uh this

weather is just not the one oh my god i opened my app the other day guys

and it said third trimester and i was like sorry what since when since

when am i now in my third trimester does this feel like it's going quickly for anyone else

because it really feels like it's going very quickly for me

and there's a lot of things

that i need to do oh god i just had to nip downstairs

and i've had half a hot dog so um in between

that i may now have some hot dog

or something in my teeth how am i feeling i feel

or you've just gone into the third trimester yourself i am

almost no in fact i'm 28 weeks pregnant today as i'm

filming this i'm 28 weeks pregnant i think by the time this goes up i'll be like 30 29

and a bit 30 oh my god that's like crazy

so the baby is around 2 .7 pounds and around 37 .9 centimeters

and i can definitely definitely feel

that she is like she is in there she is getting more

and more compact we actually had an appointment yesterday all went

well i had to do a blood test i think it's like the 28 week blood test blood test

that you have to do i don't actually know so i did

that yesterday and uh got to see her again

which was really really nice i feel like the countdown is

on your baby's heartbeat has slowed down to around 140

and will slow further to 130 your baby's brain is now in charge of maintaining body temperature

and also controlled breathing all the internal organs are maturing

and preparing to function on their own at birth your baby's

skin is beginning to look less wrinkly the extra fat under

the skin will help your baby to regulate their body temperature at birth your baby is bursting with energy

and you'll be feeling every bit of it don't i know it um i'm trying to work out

if i feel like she's more active

or less active than otty at this point i feel like otty was slightly more active

because i wasn't distracted like i wasn't as distracted um with

otty i felt i like i don't know i was very

zoned in on like pregnancy um whereas this time i just feel like having otty

so much going on i'm just i i think she's moving a lot more

but i'm not like as aware of it um she definitely moves a lot more through the night

which i don't remember otty doing as much i feel like she only ever really moved a lot before bed

and when i woke up in the morning

but i don't remember ever feeling her move like through the night whereas i feel like i'm waking up

and she's like already awake your baby is as big as

a pair of kids jelly shoes uh okay your baby is as big as a cabbage okay for some reason that seems

to 28 weeks is a small a small penguin bloody hell

sweets a chocolate cake apt like the amount of cake i've eaten in the last month

because of all the birthdays we've had we're now coming into like less birthdays

and let me tell you i'm really excited about it i there's just

so many birthdays in our family over this month the amount

of cake i have eaten i'm not even doing my makeup

at this point now i'm just chatting to you the amount of cake i've eaten

and i love cake

but i'm like i just don't want to see another piece

am i feeling pregnancy wise um i think mostly just still

it's the pregnant energy it's the lack of energy it's the

lack of breath it's the like heavy limbs it's the wanting to do things and my physical body just not

being able to do it at the speed i want to do it

or do it at all i've definitely found

that more frustrating in this pregnancy than i did in my first pregnancy i think just

because a lot of my first pregnancy was like in lockdown um i think i took it much easier

and i did not have a toddler to look after

so it's very different this time and the lack of energy

that my body has like my physical energy not even like mental

or like tiredness just the physical energy of my body is really starting to frustrate me

and i know it's only gonna get worse there's like

that lovely little golden bit which thankfully was vloggist even though

that definitely had some very up and down days and up

and down bouts of energy as

that month went i definitely had it was like it was a good time in terms of like pregnancy

and energy which i kind of knew it would be

because the second trimester generally for most people is where you

feel like relatively normal now i've moved into my third trimester

and everything's getting a bit bigger and heavier i am definitely much slower

and i am struggling with the guilt slash frustration of

that um even though there's really not a lot i can

do about it um it just it is what it is

it's being pregnant just yeah it just really frustrates me

because my brain wants something else and my body's like no girl you can't do

that and if you can it's gonna take you five times as long

so good luck with that i would say that that's probably the thing

that is the most difficult and i struggled with

that quite a lot on holiday just like not feeling like

i could fully be as involved in a lot of the

things um i did go in the pool on one of the days

when it got like kind of warm i don't know like even getting up

and down off the sun lounger i was like okay you ready and i just i can't wait to not

have that aspect of pregnancy i just want to have the energy

and be able to like lift otty a little more

and like run around a bit more

and i just i just physically cannot um

but it's fine it is what it is do i have

any new cravings no at this point not really not at

all um it's mostly just like food i'm definitely feeling more

full i should probably be doing my makeup at the same

time as this shouldn't i like how have i just like forgotten

that that's what i'm supposed to be doing right now is

getting ready i'm still on the woodwink type by the way guys

so any new symptoms quite a few rib pain has started uh that kind of like horrible stretchy uncomfortable

feeling

that you get with your ribs um it's not been as

bad as with otty i have to say um they haven't felt fizzy

which is how i described them when i was pregnant with otty i think possibly

because my rib cage expanded with otty

and it never fully went back like it definitely stayed slightly different slightly like wider after i'd had otty

but it's like more the uncomfortableness here like

if i touch my ribs they're tender like all the time

so that is kind of uncomfortable like if i'm sat in a car

or on the airplane the flight was like four hours long i want to say

and that's just quite a uncomfortable amount amount of time to be sat

and i kind of want to like almost like stretch my ribs up

and like give myself a bit more space I don't know

if it's because I have maybe a shorter torso

or I don't know but or

if I just seem to carry my babies really high

but they really do like to nestle under my rib cage

and I've had a couple of little kicks up into my ribs a few times

and I can tell you now that is not a feeling

that I missed um in my pregnancy with otty because

that is like oh my god my acid reflux has been pretty bad like my heartburn

and acid reflux probably similar to otty i would say i

think that's really it there's nothing else i've noticed just itchy

itchy around the boobs around the tummy there's a lot of stretch happening um

and i'm having to really try and remind myself to

moisturize and like ease that like itching because it's like so intense apart from that

apart from that we are on the home straight guys

and you're probably thinking do you guys have a name now

tell me you have a name we don't we still haven't decided on a name it's one of the things

that we've told each other we're gonna really think about

when we go away there is one name i quite like

but i don't know for sure i i feel like the

pressure of naming a second is almost more than naming a

first with otty it's like i knew i loved the name ottilie

so i was like well i love that name

and i want to use it with this one it's like we used the girl name we really loved

and don't get me wrong there are lots of beautiful girl names it's just finding one

that I feel like gives me that same feeling

but I don't know if I'm looking for a feeling

that maybe might not come like maybe that's just not a

thing with second kids maybe it's more just yeah I like this name

it has really cute nicknames it's in a similar vein to otterley it's quite pretty it's quite feminine it's not

and cashew then i used my bare minerals powder on top

in the shade fairly light 03 then i went on top of

that with the bare minerals warmth bronzer then i used from my nars palette um this pink uh blusher

which is liberty and then the highlighter which is breathless what did i do next my eyebrows

as always using the anastasia dip brow pomade in the shade dark brown

and also used the milk makeup kush brow lamination then i

used the old wood winked eye shadow for mascara i used my trusty um hourglass unlocked

and then for lips i'm still using my old crusty tarte lip paint in exposed

that i don't know how it still has anything left in it at this point

that we're guaranteed to forget our anniversary again is it the fourth of

or the fifth of october the fourth of october we will have been together for 11 years

so many of you we've been very very relaxed about this

aspect of our life it's probably one of the things we

get asked the most oh for sure probably the most asked

question over the last 10 years really important to a lot of people

and just not like it's important

that it happens at some point in our lives yeah we knew it was gonna happen

if i waited over two three years for my boyfriend didn't propose yet do you know it's just isn't

but also i just think marriage is very relaxed in our

family like i have divorced parents your parents only got married

like 17 years did they get married like 15 years ago

or something maybe even less maybe like 12 it was just

before you met me they got married i feel like um

so it's always a very casual thing but also alfie

and i from very early on in our relationship we did

so much cool amazing stuff

that we were big opportunities big life events yeah we did

i think quite young for you especially i mean i'm a bit older than you

but no definitely and we have obviously we've said this a million times before

and this has only just happened do you know how many comments

that were like i thought they were already married like what

but they just assumed i think because we've got otty

and obviously number two on the way that people just assume

that we are yeah that's true i had no expectation of

when this might happen i knew it would at some point

but i there was never any kind of conversation around like i don't know this year

or when or it was kind of just left in your

left in your hands the most asked question at the moment

that i'm getting dm'd is why now right right and it wasn't

that like oh six months ago Zoe did something

and I was like I know she's the one do you

know what I mean it wasn't like nothing has happened

that is like now is the time I've been waiting for

this moment the moment has happened now I'm going to propose

do you know what I mean like there wasn't like no

once we've been together 10 years then I'm going to do it once we've been together 11 like it wasn't

that as we said like we're just super relaxed

so for me it was more just like like we said

trying to like keep it as something as long as like

possible so that we've still got something to look forward to

and enjoy because we've been very fortunate to tick off

so many amazing things in life yeah um

but equally do want to do it do want to get married

and just have the right moment to get engaged as opposed to like i now know

that i want to get engaged you know what i mean like i don't i was explaining it to sean

because he was like why did you do it on this holiday

and i was like it's not

that i wouldn't have done it two years ago it's not

that i would be fussed

if i did it in two years more like time like

in two years in the future it doesn't matter as to like how many years we've been together or anything

because i mean for me like having having children having children

is more like a commitment for me personally than being married

and it just felt like I always thought well I always knew like we'd always discuss

when we had discussed things

that like we wanted people to be around to be excited

with on the day the evening of the week of

but then equally have that moment just for Zoe and I

and I was like the holiday is the perfect moment

because it was 10 years since we were in Mykonos for the first time together

that was like a really nice holiday

that was such a lovely holiday i was like that's really nice

and fitting that it was like 10 years on since

that moment that we had together in mykonos

that was our first holiday in mykonos too yeah okay yeah the first ever like proper holiday together

and then also i love the fact

that like both the children were going to be there kind of thing like kind of yeah um

and i was like i'm going to be able to carve out time on

that trip where it's just zoe and i which is how it happened

but then equally everybody else be around in some capacity to like enjoy it with yeah excited with

and i'm glad we did that because that was actually

so nice because like we're going away tomorrow but

if i did it just then i feel like we'd both be really excited

and then not this bad thing

but it'd just be just us two yeah whereas like it

was nice being able to be excited with like my family

and stuff yeah

that was really really lovely it was just like the perfect like there was nothing about out! any of it

that i would have ever changed like it was

so it was just such a perfect moment god you know the pressure just even like picking a ring

and does i mean i worked i worked over the last couple of months with like a local jeweler is

that my word jeweler yeah jewelry maker yeah she's like a local woman designer

and maker she makes some really beautiful pieces i've been working

with her like secretly meeting up with her whatsapping her a

bunch like secretly zero emailing under other email addresses to like keep everything hidden um

so tough but also you're so good at

that stuff like alfie is like incredible like i everyone would always say to me like oh what happens

if alfie gets you a ring that you don't like

or like what happens if he does this this

and this i'm like he won't we've been together

so long he can't get these things wrong it's one it's alfie you just never get anything wrong

and two you know me sometimes more than i know myself

if that makes sense um in fact what's

so strange is literally like a week before we went away me

and jay and alfie my friend jay was over we were having a conversation about like

and the ring had already obviously been made at that time

and we were talking about rings

and he was like shape diamonds everything what would you want

and i was like i would just want whatever alfie gave

me like i'm i'm not like mad fussy i wouldn't say about it there's definitely certain styles

that over the years i've been like wow that's an amazing ring like

that would be like so lovely um

but i definitely just wanted something kind of simple really there's definitely more choices than what i thought like

when i was like i fully customized the ring

and built it all like from scratch kind of thing with

rosie who i've created it with actually at one point i was gonna

but i was like otty's just too old now i would

i really wanted to get a photo of otty helping make the ring like with her hands yeah

and i was like i want to get her into the like into the jewelry studio

and like making the piece but i know

that like she talks way too much now i know she'd

be like making a ring with daddy today oh like daddy's ring and i'll be like what do you mean

what don't say that so true

so i was like she's too old now like i just missed

that to have her like help physically make it yeah um

but yeah there's so many choices in the ring i put quite a few extra like little details

and things into the ring that you can't show you

because i feel like you're all just gonna want to see it right now so there is the ring guys

it is beyond beautiful like i can't it's it's been like over a week

and i'm still i still just stare at it every day

and i'm like oh my god

so i put 10 diamonds like on a dropped halo around it

and i dropped it as much as possible around the outside just to like signify the 10 years

that we've been together so far how cute

and then on the inside of the ring there's no way you're going to be able to see this

but on the inside on the band underneath the diamond on

the band on the inside i got put in otty's birthstone and our second baby's birthstone as well it's so cute

i just do you know how scary it was traveling with

it as well i know i was gonna say alfie's like mr paranoid

so the first thing i said tim was like how how did you manage to get

that like here yeah like through customs i was like i was like

if customs just like oh one minute can we search your

bag a sec we just saw something in the bottom of your bag

or like i was like can't obviously put it in the main luggage

but i've got to keep it on me but then

if zoe's like oh alfie let me grab your phone charger possibly your bag

and i'm like no you can't have my bag you're like

what do you mean why can't i go through your bag we're so open with everything that

that yeah it was hard and the actual moment the relief the relief

and the actual moment was so chilled it was

so lovely alfie's family were at the beach um

and alfie was the one with the car

so he was kind of like okay now's my moment

because we were in charge and then zoe and i came back

and i was like i'll pick you guys up up in a bit

so i was like they can't get back from the beach without me picking them up

so now it's go time because they can't come back
