26
That's true.
27
Today we're going to be answering this question.
28
Where did you go on vacation this summer?
29
But we are going to be answering it in three levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
30
So I want you to practice each one after my voice.
31
You're going to practice the beginner sentence, the intermediate sentence, and the advanced sentence.
32
I'm going to say each one.
33
I'm going to pause and I want you to speak out loud during the pause.
34
You're welcome to read the sentence, but I also want you to try to imitate my voice, imitate the vocabulary, the grammar, but also the pronunciation.
35
This is essential to help you have the correct rhythm and flow of English.
36
So let's get started.
37
Where did you go on summer vacation?
38
Rome.
39
Too simple, right?
40
You want to say more.

42
Go ahead.
43
I'm going to pause and you can repeat it.
44
Good work.
45
An intermediate would say, I went to Rome with my family for a few days.
46
And an advanced English learner would say, I went to Rome with my family for a few days and I finally got to see the Colosseum.

Now you can say this advanced sentence as well.
49
Go ahead.
50
Excellent work.
51
Do you see how with each level we're getting slightly more complex,
52
but the important thing is with the beginner and the intermediate and the advanced sentences,
53
all All of this grammar and vocabulary is real life English.
54
The advanced sentence is not more formal, it's not more academic.
55
It is what normal, common native English speakers would say, but it includes longer sentences,
56
more phrases, and it's slightly more advanced.
57
All right, let's go to our next answer for where did you go on vacation this summer?

Was du lernst

Dieses Video hilft dir, dein Englisch sprechen zu üben – und zwar auf drei Ebenen! Du wirst lernen, einfache Sätze (wie "I went to Rome") zu erweitern, um intermediate-Ausdrücke ("I went to Rome with my family for a few days") und advanced-Level-Äußerungen ("I went to Rome with my family for a few days and I finally got to see the Colosseum. It was a dream come true") zu meistern. Zusätzlich übst du das "shadowspeak"-Verfahren: Du wiederholst Sätze direkt nach der Sprecherin, was deine Fluenz und Selbstvertrauen stark verbessert. Perfekt für Englisch lernen mit Videos!

Horch auf diese Klänge

Achte auf verbundene Sprache und Reduktionen. Zum Beispiel in "I went to Rome" hört man fast "I wen(t) to Rome" – das "t" in "went" wird fast nicht gesprochen. In "for a few days" fließen "for a" zu "forra" zusammen. Diese Details machen dein Englisch natürlicher. Beim Shadowing merkst du, wie native Speaker Klänge verbinden – übe das, um nicht wie ein Lerner zu klingen!

Sag es wie ein Native

Um den Rhythmus und die Betonung zu kopieren, beachte, welche Wörter betont werden. In "I finally got to see the Colosseum" betont man "finally", "got" und "Colosseum".
