In this lesson we are going to look at one of the hardest parts of learning any language.

To speak, to say, to utter a word, to make a statement that can be heard.

Day by day you must gain the skill to chat and natter when you want at will.

So don't Don't be shy, give it a try, or else you will make Mr Duncan cry.

There are many ways of becoming more comfortable and confident when learning to speak out loud.

We will look at some simple sentences to help you practice and build your confidence.

But first, here is a fun rhyme for you to learn and recite.

Look at the way your mouth moves as you pronounce the words.

but over time you will become more comfortable with how you look whilst speaking the new language.

And more importantly your confidence will grow.

Listening to your own voice is another good way to improve your attitude to speaking out loud.

Record your own voice on a portable device such as a mobile phone or an MP3 recorder.

Listen to the sound of your voice as you speak English.

This method will help you understand where you might be going wrong with your pronunciation.

If you don't like the sound of your voice or the way you speak, then why not change it?

Learn to relax and enjoy the experience of practicing to speak.

Over time, you will begin to enjoy it more and more.
