2
Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all the things you have to do?
3
Between school, after school activities, homework, and what you do in your free time, sometimes it seems impossible to manage it all.
4
We all have times when we feel stuck or need a little help, but that's normal, right Smiley?
5
Of course, it's completely normal.
6
We don't have to do everything alone.
7
We can ask for help.
8
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
9
It's the opposite.
10
It's a sign of courage.
11
By asking for help, we recognize that we need support and are taking the first step towards finding a solution.
12
Let's imagine we need to cross a big river.
13
Would it be easier to do it alone or in a boat?
14
That's right!
15
With a boat it would be much easier.
16
The help we ask for is like crossing a river in a boat.
17
The boat doesn't take all the responsibility away from us since we still have to steer and keep rowing,
18
but it makes it easier for us to complete the task and get to the other side of the river.
19
We are not alone.
20
There are many people around us who can help us when we need it.
21
It could be a teacher who can explain a topic better, a friend who understands us,
22
a family member who can give us advice or even a professional who can listen and guide us.
23
There's always someone willing to help us, it's just a matter of asking them.
24
Because remember, people can't read our minds.
25
If we don't communicate what we need, it will be harder for others to know how to support us.
26
Asking for help is the best tool we have to overcome the obstacles that come our way.
27
So the next time you feel overwhelmed or lost, don't hesitate to ask for help.
28
We've learned so much in just one video.
29
Did you know there are many more videos?
