17
So whether you're fresh out of high school or college, looking to switch careers, whatever.
18
I got you.
19
Let's get started.
20
First, let's talk about what a flight attendant actually does.
21
I know you know what it is, but just in case, let me go through it.
22
It's way more than handing out snacks and looking pretty.
23
We are safety professionals.
24
We are trained in safety.
25
Emergency evacuations, CPR, unruly passengers, all of our procedures, all of our protocol.
26
That's what we do.
27
We serve snacks on the side.
28
We truly are first responders in the sky and I say that fully knowing what it's like to be a first responder.
29
Please keep in mind your girl's also an emergency department nurse.
30
Those skills come in handy as flight attendants and that's why flight attendants should be more respected.
31
Not trying to get on a tangent.
32
Y'all see me stepping on my soapbox a little?
33
Let me calm down.
34
Basic requirements in 2025.
35
Apply to most commercial airlines.
36
These are your basic requirements.
37
Now these are just most, not all, most.
38
For most airlines you have to be at least 18.
39
Some of them you have to be 21.
40
Depends on airline must have a high school degree
41
or ged you have to be legal to work in this
42
country my videos are usually based on becoming commercial flight attendants for us airlines please keep
43
that in mind and
44
while most airlines don't have specific height requirements listed a lot of them have a reach requirement
45
that is definitely airline specific you have to be able to pass a drug
46
and alcohol screening and that's not just for your interview
47
that is for the rest of your career
48
and along with your drug test is going to be a background check you have to pass
49
that bad boy I am going to make a separate video about tattoos
50
and stuff like that because that's very airline specific
51
and i do want to lay that out plain for you guys
52
but since that is
53
so airline specific i'm not gonna put it i'm not gonna talk about it here in this video
54
but just know that some airlines have gotten a lot more lax about it okay
55
so let's talk about step by step how to become a
56
flight attendant research your airlines i always say this every single
57
time i'm gonna remake this video every single time i'm gonna
58
say the same thing research your airlines they have their own
59
vibe they have their own routes they have their own requirements regional major low cost charter private all
60
that completely different so research
61
and find out where you want to apply step two apply online go to the airlines career website
62
and see if their flight attend listing is up
63
if it's not you can set up um alerts on some websites you can set up alerts letting you know
64
when it's happening or you can follow me on instagram
65
or on my blog and i'll tell you
66
when they're hiring i do think i'm going to start an
67
email list i really want to be able to help you guys so that's probably something i'm gonna do.
68
Anyways, once you get to your website, you're gonna submit your cover letter or your resume and answer a few questions.
69
Most airlines have an assessment right there to weed out some bad seeds.
70
I don't mean to say bad seeds, that sounds mean.
71
Weed out people who they don't think is gonna be a great fit off the bat.
72
The interview process, this is going to be multiple rounds.
73
Virtual interviews, phone interviews, group sessions, video calls, all of that depends on the airline.
74
But keep in mind, it's not just a one-and-done process, there's multiple multiple interviews.
75
More than likely there's gonna be three rounds.
76
First it's usually a video interview.
77
This is where most people get eliminated.
78
You'll answer timed questions on camera whether it's pre-recorded
79
or whether it's face to face you and another person or you and a group of people.
80
I've had both situations.
81
And then there's the in-person interview.
82
Some of that's group work and then a part of that is also one-on-one.
83
I'll do a full in-depth video about that but
84
if you can't wait for my next one to come out go watch my last one.
85
It is still performing very well so hopefully it's helping a lot of people.
86
That's where going to be doing problem solving group activities uh
87
public speaking answering questions on the spot seeing how you carry
88
yourself of course you have to look good head to toe just like in your video interview
89
if you have one and then you have a one-on-one panel interview
90
or it'll be one-on-one literally just one-on-one you in one person i've had multiple experiences
91
and my videos are not airline specific on how to become
92
a flight attendant i've interviewed for multiple main lines multiple regionals
93
and one low-cost carrier so i do have my experience like two years ago when I was taking a break from flying, I actually went on interviews just so I could see what was happening
94
because I'm nosy and to see if I could get it
95
so yeah I do have a lot of experience after you
96
finish the interview process usually on the day of your face-to-face it is time to get your CJO
97
that is your conditional job offer that is what you want
98
that is what you're hoping and maybe praying you know that's your business I'm praying for
99
that for you regardless if you pass your interviews
100
and you get your conditional job offer is time to go to training
101
which is our next step complete flight attendant training now this
102
can be hard this can be easy it really depends on
103
how hard you're willing to work at it it's usually four
104
to eight weeks some are paid some are not some give
105
you a stipend at the end some give you money all
106
the way through it's basically like a flight attendant boot camp
107
you learn your drills your doors your procedures your serving it's really safety procedure heavy
108
which makes sense like your everyday stuff like arming
109
and disarming doors yeah sounds easy
110
but honestly no a lot of people get out on door day not only are you taking sit down tests
111
but you're actually performing things
112
and they're judging you too you really really really have to buckle down you guys training can be fun
113
but also keep in mind you're there to finish this is still a part of your job interview
114
so after you passed all your evaluations
115
and your tests it's time to get your wings you'll officially be a flight attendant
116
that is so exciting graduation was one of the best days of my life
117
and you'll officially be a flight attendant now i know this
118
video wasn't as in-depth i am going to make a full video about each of these steps
119
but i am going to give you some quick tips
120
so you guys i know the camera's set up a little bit different um my camera died
121
so i've told you how to become a flight attendant now
122
i'm just going to give y'all a couple of tips like
123
i said i do plan on making a further video about this
124
and you can find this information over on my instagram as well as i post tips tricks
125
and of course my daily life over there all the time
126
but here's a few tips just to let you know what
127
i'm working with i am working on a flight attendant quick
128
start guide it will be in the description as soon as it's done
129
and i am going to be offering services soon to help you guys earn your links
130
and i'm very excited but before i get that program started
131
if you are interested feel free to message me on my
132
email it'll be the business email linked in the description box
133
but quick tips here we go update your resume it needs
134
to be airline specific don't be sending your i cannot wait
135
to be a southwest flight attendant to delta it needs to to be airline specific.
136
This shows not only how serious you are about being a flight attendant, but being a flight attendant for that specific airline.
137
You wanting them is gonna make them want you more back.
138
While you're updating your resume, go ahead and sprinkle in some of the keywords.
139
Keywords being customer service, safety focus, hard worker, that you're good in a team environment, stuff like that.
140
Sell yourself.
141
I'm definitely gonna be offering resume services soon because I think that is the number one asked question other than who's hiring.
142
Practice interview questions.
143
Practice but don't sound too rehearsed.
144
But don't practice so much where you sound like a robot all rehearsed, like you literally sound like Chad GPT.
145
They don't want that.
146
They want you to be yourself.
147
And always, in the interview process, look the part.
148
Maybe airlines are switching it up on what they want, but I'll say you can never go wrong with looking like classic flight attendant chic.
149
If you're scared to like push the envelope, there's nothing wrong with the classic blazer skirt or blazer pantsuit combo.
150
And my final tip, while this is serious, and I want you to get this job if you want, please keep in mind
151
that this is not everything this job is amazing i love it like 80 of the time
152
but please keep in mind that if you get a thanks
153
but no thanks it is not the end of the world
154
every no is closer to your next yes
155
and rejection is sometimes god's protection like you never know it's
156
all going to work out for the greater good everything is going to work out exactly how it's supposed to
157
and you're going to end up where you want to be
158
because if had i been told yes on some of the opportunities
159
that i wanted in my life i wouldn't have i wouldn't be where i am and i'm so happy.
160
This is a life that I never imagined for myself.
161
So keep keep keep trying you guys.
162
Do not give up if this is your dream.
163
So that's it you guys.
164
Coming a flight attendant isn't easy but if you're passionate and persistent and you really really want this, 2025 could be the year that you are in your wings.
165
Leave me any pink or blue emojis in the comment section if this video was helpful.
166
That is our secret emoji.
167
Not only does it match my room but it matches my sweatpants.
168
I just realized one of my lights is on.
169
I'm gonna go you guys.
170
Thank you so much for watching.
171
I love y'all so much.
172
Have a blessed day and I'll see y'all in the sky baby.
173
Must have a high school degree or diploma.
174
What?
175
Can you see my sweatpants?
176
They actually match my room perfectly.
177
Not me showing y'all mine.
178
Anyways, um, I have a fruit fly problem right now and they're driving me crazy.
179
I almost picked my laptop over.
180
I hope the second half of this video wasn't a complete fail.
181
Like what the heck just happened?

ध्यान देने योग्य उच्चारण

वक्ता 71 बार संक्षिप्त रूपों का प्रयोग करता है, जैसे I'm, you're, gonna। इन्हें वैसे ही छोटा बोलें जैसा आप सुनते हैं।

  • “sh” और “zh” की ध्वनियाँ: conditional /kənˈdɪʃ.ə.nəl/, chic /ʃik/, evacuation /ɪˌvækjuˈeɪʃən/, rejection /ɹɪˈd͡ʒɛkʃən/, graduation /ˌɡɹæd͡ʒuˈeɪʃən/
  • लंबे शब्द — बलाघात सही रखें: conditional /kənˈdɪʃ.ə.nəl/, evacuation /ɪˌvækjuˈeɪʃən/, graduation /ˌɡɹæd͡ʒuˈeɪʃən/, eliminate /ɪˈlɪm.ɪ.neɪt/, evaluation /ɪˌvæljuˈeɪʃn̩/

  • /z/ — इसे “ज” (/dʒ/) न बनाएँ: resume /ˈɹɛz.ə.meɪ/, blazer /ˈbleɪzəɹ/, anyways /ˈɛn.iˌweɪz/
