I am getting wrist surgery tomorrow morning again.
2
We've had a good day in New York City, but tomorrow is surgery, so literally the best view in New York City.
3
And I'm going to go to surgery in probably like 5 -ish, 10 -ish minutes.
4
Alright guys, so this is going to be a little bit different of a video.
5
Welcome back to the channel.
6
If you guys haven't already, just like and subscribe.
7
Hit the notification button, but this video is a little different.
8
I don't know if you can see by the title or not, but I am getting wrist surgery tomorrow morning again.
9
I ended up getting surgery January 6th of 2026, which was only a few months ago.
10
Had surgery, um, and after surgery, things didn't really feel completely right, um, to be honest.
11
Still in pain, still everything was kind of hurting, um, I lost a lot.
12
I lost a lot of, like, my emotion, like, if I'm pulling my wrist, this is the bad
13
So if I'm holding it like this, that's all I got. So.
14
I can start taking off my cast when I wash my face.
15
Um, and I'm supposed to try to start, like, moving it around.
16
Like, starting to, like, use my wrist.
17
Which hurts whenever you get out of your hand.
18
It's still nine to two decisions on the top.
19
And, um, I started playing golf again in July.
20
It took very long to get back on the golf course.
21
So, started playing golf again in July.
22
Alright, my pitching wedge.
23
This is the first time you've done this? first pitching wedge.
24
My wrist is like locked up.
25
My first pitching wedge in seven months.
26
I think a lot of it is also like the mental side of like getting over it.
27
It's a mental, yeah, it's like a big mental barrier. That was awesome.
28
I feel like I had that wrist action that I kind of used to have.
29
You want to go nine?
30
Let's go nine.
31
Then in August, obviously I'm playing golf at University of Miami, so got ready really fast.
32
Started, had my way to Miami.
33
Played the first qualifier, played practice.
34
Everything was good.
35
The pain was always there, but mentally I blocked it out because I was where I wanted to be.
36
I wanted to play with my team.
37
I wanted to travel.
38
I wanted to play tournaments with my team.
39
um and I didn't want to feel like I wasn't part of the team
40
because I was still hurting so I kind of just pushed through it
41
and look the pain the pain wasn't bad like no one really knew
42
I was still in pain I just kind of like kept it to myself
43
because like all right it is what it is I got surgery surgery was good
44
there's really nothing I can do at this point
45
but just continue playing golf and just deal with the pain
46
and tape it up and be fine and so then my first I qualified Friday for this individual event.
47
It was, I can't remember what the dates were, but it was my first college event ever in the whole world.
48
First ever college event.
49
That was also my first tournament since November.
50
So I pretty much, first tournament in 10 months, 11 months, was my first college tournament
51
because my last tournament was the LPGA event where I ended up hurting my wrist
52
and on the first day
53
so I um I planned the event um I felt okay
54
you know I felt pretty good first two days was very nervous
55
but felt good feedback out there then on the last day
56
it was the 10th hole I'm sorry on the last day it was the fifth hole
57
and I had a wedge on um by the cart path
58
that it was like hard sand by the cart path
59
and my ball was there so I hit the shot and I kind of hit it
60
and I felt like a zing down my arm like I
61
felt like I like I felt like a little like
62
if I tore it just a little down my hand
63
and my fingers went numb
64
because my fingers had been going numb for the past few months sometimes
65
if I had like a bad shot I kind of like these fingers go numb
66
so I hit the shot felt like a little zing down my arm
67
that's Chloe um felt like a little zing down my arm it hurt a lot to be honest with you
68
so I just kind of rubbed it off like I always do this like
69
if my wrist hurts kind of like shook it off
70
and i'm like all right like i never thought of an option of like pulling out
71
because that's just not who i am i finish whatever i do like i'm not gonna
72
because i'm hurt myself like i'm just gonna keep on playing
73
so kind of kept on playing it was
74
so hurting like i hold on to my putter
75
and it's weird coming back from my surgery the most painful thing was putting it was always putting
76
and it's a little weird putting and chipping was the most painful
77
because I didn't have like a lot of momentum
78
so whenever I had to like really squeeze
79
and like hold on it hurt a lot um and
80
so I got my putter on the fifth hole
81
and I'm like oh my god I can't even hold my putter right
82
now I'm like I don't know what I just did again
83
but like it was like the same like pain as before
84
when I first did the first time around
85
and I've had TFCC injuries for a while in ECU
86
and kind of like TFCC and ECU stuff happening here
87
and there um
88
so I'm going to my part i'm like oh no
89
this is not good like i'm like i'm in swimming spade right now
90
but i kept on playing whatever i'm like i didn't really say anything to anyone
91
i'm like all right it is what it
92
um then on the tenfold i tee my driver
93
and i go in to hit my driver and i'm like like this
94
and i literally felt whatever in here tear like i literally felt a tear
95
and i felt like if someone like grabbed like
96
if someone pulled my wrist like out of my socket
97
and like that's what it felt like when i hit my driver at impact
98
and like i like finish the shot i'm like i like literally like fall down on the floor.
99
I'm like, oh my God.
100
Like I just tore my wrist again.
101
And I somehow just literally played the rest of the holes.
102
I finished, not, I finished, I shot like 80, which is not good at all.
103
But like for the circumstance, it's okay.
104
Um, I still finished.
105
It was funny.
106
Like it said, like if I had like 110 shot, which is normally like my 50 degree,
107
I would grab like my nine iron and I just like punch it a little, like just kind of like hit I have a club up
108
so I can hit it like the distance
109
because like there's no way I could like swing full speed um I got very creative let's just say
110
but I finished and
111
when I finished I obviously called my coaches came back to University of Miami I got MRIs done
112
and there there's a tear again um
113
and then I kind of let some time go by I
114
um saw a doctor in New York City Dr. Carlson who's gonna do my surgery tomorrow morning.
115
I saw her, I'm like, this is the issue.
116
I've had these issues really since surgery.
117
Hasn't really gotten much better.
118
I've kind of just always had pain.
119
And I have to get ECU in TFCC surgery again.
120
So same surgery that I got the first time around, I gotta get again.
121
Hasn't really even been nine months since my surgery, which is crazy.
122
So obviously not very happy about it.
123
But this is my vlog of me showing you me getting surgery in New York.
124
I'm flying to New York City in the next 10 minutes.
125
I'm going to go to New York City, get the surgery.
126
I'm going to show you guys the week.
127
I'm actually, this time around, I didn't really want to show my process because I was really,
128
like, I was struggling with the surgery the first time around.
129
Like, I was in a lot of pain.
130
I wasn't feeling good.
131
I didn't really want to feel anything.
132
Like, I just wanted to be, like, left alone.
133
This time around, I'm going to show you guys the process
134
because obviously you guys might know me from my family and stuff like that, but I'm also a college golfer and just a D1 athlete
135
and I'm going to show you guys the struggles and the ups
136
and downs of getting surgery when you're in college and try
137
and play a division one sport I want to go professional golf one day that's my goal
138
so I'll definitely show you guys the whole process
139
and you know I'm not going to sugarcoat it it's tough it's really really tough getting surgery again getting
140
that specific type of surgery it's very tough
141
because it's reconstruction of your EC and TVCC
142
but this is what it looks like right now i'll show you guys later
143
but you see a massive scar like right here
144
and then i got two scars up here
145
that actually kind of healed pretty good like this one felt not really healed
146
so good but this one held really good we're doing it again
147
so i'll show you guys the process my mom's flying with me to new york city today
148
and um yeah it'll be a little rough one
149
but i might finish like this video is gonna be like the first week of the process
150
because being surgery tuesday and flying home Wednesday
151
and then yeah we'll continue it I'm gonna have some of my teammates come
152
and visit me too so I'm excited to see everyone um some of my friends too
153
but yeah let's go to New York City
154
all right guys so we made it in New York City
155
and we're trying to find her some jeans right now
156
so it's like like 14 oh my god um all right guys
157
so i am sharing a hotel room with my mom
158
and she's taking me to surgery tomorrow morning we have to wake up at 5 30 and leave at 5 40
159
um we've had a good day in new york city
160
but tomorrow's surgery so i will see you guys tomorrow morning um
161
when we get ready for surgery and stuff like that right mom that's right kai
162
all right good night guys see you in the next one all right guys
163
so it's the next morning and me
164
and mom are heading to the hospital right now um we're like 10 minutes away
165
and um yeah that's it all right guys we're in the hospital room
166
why you she's just she's getting anxiety from this thing imagine how i feel part two
167
I need to make a change too I have my IV in my arm
168
and just met with everyone
169
and I'm going to go in surgery in probably like 5 -10 minutes
170
so I'll see you guys on the left side new wrist loading got the mark
171
hopefully it goes well and we're back on the golf course soon
172
and my little my hair net all right guys what's up
173
so i am currently out of surgery um i am in my
174
grandma's my mom was bedroom because she lives in New York City
175
and I don't want to go to the hotel yet so.
176
So here's my wrist.
177
This is the boba tea that my mom got me.
178
I'm taking my fingers right now.
179
Oh, the little is falling.
180
But surgery was successful.
181
Surgery was a little different than we thought it was going to be and it was a little different but it's okay.
182
We got a fix and and cannot wait to be back on the golf course in a few months.
183
And yeah, everything was successful, so I'm really hoping and really, really hoping that this time around we got it right and
184
that I don't have to do this ever again in my life.
185
Maybe in 10 years or so, but not for the next few months.
186
Hopefully I don't have to do another nine months, but surgery was very successful.
187
Dr. Carlson's the best.
188
I'm not feeling so great right now.
189
I'm really hot and just, like, not feeling good.
190
I don't explain it, I just don't feel good right now, but it's okay.
191
My wrist should be better, hopefully, in a few months, and I cannot wait to go back on the golf course.
192
It's really weird because I have a nerve blocker right now, so I can't, like, I'm telling my hand.
193
I, like, can't move my fingers even if I, like, try focus.
194
But, it's alright, I got, like, iodine on my fingers still for the surgery, but I'll be back here soon, and yeah, that's it.
195
I'll see you guys on the other side.
196
Alright, guys, well, I'm sitting outside right now.
197
My face is like low -key puffy a little.
198
But I'm sitting outside right now.
199
Um, because I didn't want to lay down anymore.
200
I was like low -key sweating inside too.
201
But it's a little cold in New York City, so I'm sitting outside and I'm like perfectly good.
202
Got the hand.
203
Um, I'm not able to feel any of my arm right now because I've been there blocking one, but.
204
Yeah, I look a little rough right now.
205
Um, not gonna lie, but.
206
So again, it's like, look at this view.
207
Literally the best view in New York City.
208
Oh, so those buildings are over there
209
Wow, look at that zoom
210
Those are the Ghostbuster buildings
211
So when like
212
When um For Halloween, like that movie I think over there, somewhere over there
213
Is the Jesse building from the movie
214
Um, isn't that it?
215
No, it's not it
216
Where is it?
217
I don't know where it is but I'm looking at finding it
218
But yeah, Ghostbusters building is really cool
219
and um oh i think this is a dressy building i'll show you guys i need that one in the middle
220
it's a dressy building but i'm just sitting outside i low -key want to get some dinner soon
221
my mom's sleeping though
222
so i don't want to wake her up
223
i don't know can you believe my helper like i was
224
like i was literally like laying my phone all tonight here snoring right next to me she's out
225
but um no she needs to rest she also four other kids every single day
226
so um and yeah i'm chilling outside and enjoying my day.
227
Alright guys, so I just ate up some food.
228
My nurse is sleeping, which is my mom.
229
So I kind of have to do this alone.
230
But I'm gonna show you guys a few things.
231
So when I got surgery the first one, I can't twist anything on myself.
232
So I need my nurse to wake up, but I will let my nurse sleep for now.
233
I got some lemonade.
234
Oh, she never closed the cap.
235
Oh, perfect.
236
I would normally have to put it between my legs to squeeze onto it and twist it with my hand.
237
I'll be able to use my left hand for a little.
238
I got some pink lemonade.
239
Pink lemonade.
240
Now I got some ranch and carrots.
241
Haven't been sweet.
242
Tastes so good right now.
243
Yeah.
244
Let me tell you this time now, I'm moving a lot more.
245
the first surgery i had i don't think i really moved around at all but i'm moving a lot now
246
because i feel like the more i force myself to move the better
247
i feel like the last time i just like rotted my bed
248
and i feel great i have some carrots to kill carrots with my grandma i call her momo
249
because i'm danish but yeah i'm saying grandma so it's easier to understand but I'm gonna approach carrots
250
Just trust my carrots my favorite thing is rancho carrots
251
i actually like carrots and hot sauce but rancho carrots are fire some for rice i have
252
Greek food here by the way guys let's get some lemon potatoes
253
Now we have some gyro.
254
I'm looking at me I might just get there.
255
I had this for lunch before I lay to my bed fully.
256
I'm not going to go to bed.
257
I'm almost in bed for a few hours.
258
I think I lay up for five hours and now I got this random boost of energy to walk around.
259
I probably will end up walking back to the hotel
260
then that's the nice thing on your seat just walk wherever you want some really good food
261
fire all right guys
262
so it's the next day um i'm at grandma's house my mom helped me change
263
because i currently cannot change by myself oh um
264
so i have like iodine still my fingers because of the surgery
265
so i'm gonna try to wipe it off right now
266
because it's like yellow and i don't want to do it on my shirt so
267
i'm v i'm v too liking my face I'm in a lot of pain right now,
268
so I'm going to stop it now.
269
My fingers are clinically ill, so...
270
I'm much better.
271
Actually, when I first got my surgery...
272
I look like crap, too, by the way.
273
I'm sorry.
274
When I first got my surgery, I couldn't move my fingers for two weeks.
275
Now with me.
276
Day later.
277
Let's go.
278
Alright, guys, so we're on the plane right now.
279
We're on the plane heading back to Jupiter, Florida.
280
Because it's Wednesday, the day I have surgery.
281
My face is like peeling from the mask that they put on
282
but um we're gonna head home and get some rest um yeah see you guys at home.
283
I know you guys can't see me right now
284
but it's the next day um it's at 5am right
285
now I've been up since 4 o 'clock in the morning
286
when I talk about it um but I'm just not feeling very good.
287
I'm in some pain um but yeah I told you guys I'll show you guys everything
288
so here's me at 5 a .m in pain um
289
I'm in a lot less pain than the first time around which is good
290
um but it's still pain it's a little uncomfortable to sleep sometimes
291
so I've been out to sleep for
292
but yep part of the process all right guys
293
it's day three surgery I'm out of this thing right
294
now just like trying to move my shoulder around my shoulder keeps on like spasming not fun um
295
but i'm gonna make myself some coffee because i need some coffee
296
this is my mug that i used to use every single day for high school
297
so instead we got somewhat not really a big day i would say but
298
i'm gonna see like it's my old high school
299
and say what's up to my son my teachers because they in Almontown for my surgery.
300
And then I am going to go to the mall, see one of my friends from high school.
301
And my mom's probably going to come because she says she wants to go to the mall too.
302
So, it should be fun.
303
I'm going to get this in.
304
while we're doing that i'm gonna put my slate on because my arm is killing me right now
305
oh like i have like moments where i feel good
306
and i have moments where i just don't feel great at all the one that i see good
307
wrapped wrapped up locked in litter over here put my sling on this is
308
so much better you I guess I have literally no clue.
309
I need my mom to pull out my hair for me
310
because I'm not able to do any of that at the moment.
311
So my coffee is done.
312
So I'm going to put it like this.
313
And then I'm going to grab some milk.
314
Obviously, that's how I do open it.
315
It's just lucky, but it's hard to open the shit.
316
Oh, this sucks.
317
This was already loosened from when I opened it yesterday.
318
I was just gonna say to you guys, I still worked out yesterday, which I was really proud about.
319
I didn't record it because I was at my French gym, but I worked out yesterday.
320
And, um, I did, like, just, like, a very fast workout.
321
I was looking, falling asleep between sets because I was so tired, but I did a fast workout.
322
I got some legs in and some upper body.
323
I'm gonna put this between my legs and, like, twist it.
324
It doesn't taste terrible.
325
So, my hand's moving, which is a really good sign.
326
My fingers are a little swollen, but besides that, I can move my hand now.
327
And yeah, it's been, like, rough, but I've been sleeping a lot.
328
That's why there's not many clips of after, but I've been sleeping a lot.
329
I slept, like, 10 hours last night, but yeah, it's been good.
330
Alright, guys, well, I'm in my room now.
331
I think this is pretty much the end of the vlog for the week.
332
I'm going to continue filming obviously throughout the next few weeks.
333
Trying to do daily vlogs every single week.
334
So, or Weekend Alliance every single week.
335
So, yeah, my wrist is in the cast.
336
I'm able to move my elbow, which is pretty good, side to side.
337
Move my fingers too, which is nice.
338
But it still kind of hurts a little.
339
But I'm excited to get back out there with my team and start playing again in the future.
340
Just got to rest this time, make sure we get it right and yeah, just recover.
341
And I can't wait to be back on the golf course soon.
342
Yeah, I'm gonna show you guys the step -by -step.
343
It's not gonna be easy.
344
It's definitely gonna be hard.
345
It's gonna be painful, but it's part of being an athlete and it's part of playing a sport, hopefully professionally and obviously at the college level.
346
So sometimes you gotta deal with these things and these are little bumps in the road,
347
but obviously everything happens for a reason and I can't wait to come back out there and compete.
348
So yeah, I will see you guys in the next video.
