1
Mark my words that brain maxing is going to be the next thing that takes over the internet.
2
Just as we saw with looks maxing, if you don't get ahead, then you're going to be left behind.
3
So here is the full comprehensive method to brain maxing.
4
Let's get the absolute basics out of the way.
5
Eight hours of sleep, exercise, cardio, good diet.
6
Most guys will buy some stimulant or nootropic without committing themselves to a good night's sleep and a good meal and exercise.
7
So please don't be the person who does all that.
8
Make the investment for your health.
9
Sleep is where the brain gets cleared out, memory gets restored, BDNF gets produced.
10
Exercise allows your brain to actually function and your diet is going to be the thing that keeps you going.
11
So please get these things right before you move forward.
12
Now, if you're watching this, I assume you lift and work out.
13
And if you're training your body four to five times a week, then why are you not doing the same with your brain?
14
I've talked about this extensively in other videos, but the fix to treating a broken brain is not more stimulation.
15
It's adding friction into tasks.
16
So practice boredom, practice doing things for longer periods of time that you're not used to.
17
Play chess, read, do things every single day to boost your brain.
18
It's going to be hard at first, but just like with any sort of muscle, the more you train it, the easier it gets, the stronger it gets and you can make it fun, you know, learn some kind of game, learn a new hobby, something that gets newer pathways growing in the brain,
19
keeping you sharp and healthy.
20
This is not a fix, but these are some things that are going to get you closer to your goal and help you build your brain up.
21
The classic L-theanine fish oil creatine lion's mane.
22
Creatine, one of the biggest cognitive enhancers, you take three to five grams a day.
23
It's going to help you recover from poor sleep and increase your memory.
24
Lion's mane, shown to have a calming focus effect.
25
Fish oil and omega-3s are used to help your brain build new neural pathways.
26
And magnesium glassane helps you get that good sleep and calm feeling in your mind.
27
These are the absolute essentials.
28
So get your supplementation down early.
29
But again, these are things that are going to help you in your process, not actually do the work for you.
30
You're going to need that baseline foundations.
31
These are just some things that are going to help you get there.
32
All right, let's talk about the controversial one, stimulants.
33
As anybody who takes stimulants knows, they work great and they do exactly what they're meant for.
34
Except they come with a lot of side effects and often can leave you worse off than you started.
35
So before you start abusing these things, let me give you a quick rundown.
36
These won't change who you are as a person.
37
Let's look at caffeine, for example.
38
Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors, which just makes you not feel tired, even if you still are tired.
39
It's the same thing with any sort of ADHD medication.
40
It's not going to make you focus.
41
It's going to chemically trick your brain into focusing.
42
These things ultimately end up spiking your cortisol, destroying your baseline stimulation, and causing you to be reliant on them forever.
43
And then you get caught in a trap where you can't get any work done without taking some sort of stimulation.
44
If you do them right, you can be like the guy on the left, focused, working hard, being able to recover quickly, and not having it affect their brain too much.
45
But it's very easy to get caught in the feeling and the euphoria and the work that gets done, and end up like the guy on the right, absolutely destroyed, crashed, and with a fried brain.
46
So if you are going to use stimulants, be careful, do your research, I don't condone any of them, and see if they are right for you.
47
Of course, talk to a doctor if needed, but be careful to not fall into that hole.
48
Reading is such a popular self-improvement habit, and it's kind of a waste of time for a lot of people
49
if you're just reading the information but not doing anything with it or practicing active recall.
50
So what active recall is, is essentially thinking back to what you just read or learned.
51
So every time you go to study or work, write down everything you know beforehand about the topic and then fill those gaps in the research session.
52
This allows you to stop wasting time, but also trains your brain to be able to recall old information while effectively learning new information.
53
Active recall is such a good skill to master.
54
It's going to help you a lot on tests
55
or really anything where you need to think back to a bank of memory that you have.
56
So start practicing this now, just like you would train a muscle.
57
Another absolute cheat code is getting good quality light exposure, both in the morning and at night.
58
Your circadian rhythm controls melatonin, cortisol, your alertness, your dopamine baseline, and it's all pretty much set by your eyes.
59
So if you get sunlight in the morning between like 30 to 60 minutes of waking, you're going to spike your cortisol in the morning, which is good.
60
So it's at the peak when you wake up and slowly drops down throughout the day, which is going to keep you focused a lot more on task and a lot less on edge later in the day, helping you to sleep better and recover more.
61
Additionally, if you're going to sleep with your phone right in front of you or bright overhead lights, you're going to be destroying your sleep and your circadian rhythm.
62
So I have like these little LED red lights I like
63
to put on before I go to bed to replace the other light with.
64
And that's been tremendous for my sleep, my focus, my overall brain function.
65
And come on, it's 2026.
66
If you're not getting your lights right, then you're really missing out.
67
This is the master switch for your brain to operate at peak efficiency.
68
Now, when it comes to problem solving, there's really two things I focus on.
69
And the first one is called psychological distance, essentially putting yourself in the third person of a situation.
70
Imagine like you're playing a video game.
71
What what would my character do?
72
Or thinking, what would I tell a friend to do in this situation?
73
I know this sounds very simple, but when you do this, you're accessing different cognitive pathways that measurably improves your abstract reasoning and decision-making.
74
And some of the top decision-makers use this religiously.
75
It's a way to think under pressure.
76
And if you continue to do this for a few weeks, you're gonna see things in a new light and in a different way.
77
And it's a super interesting way to approach problems that not a lot of people do.
78
And learning how to use different cognitive pathways will set you apart from everybody else.
79
Another great slept-on underground method is memory encoding through emotional tagging.
80
Now I know that sounds like really confusing in a lot of words, but the amygdala and hippocampus are functionally linked together.
81
And when there's some form of emotional arousal at the moment of learning, they're going to work in tandem together a lot more efficiently.
82
And that's why you're able to remember things like where you were during a major life event extremely clearly and vividly.
83
But when you're taking a test, you can't remember any of the information you learned while studying.
84
So you can kind of rewire your brain to tag things emotionally based on certain experiences.
85
Attach a story to different things you learned.
86
Chew a certain flavor of gum whenever you're studying, then chew it again on the test.
87
Attach emotions to what you're learning
88
because it's going to be a lot easier to recall once
89
your brain can connect the two Brain maxing is going to be the biggest thing in the next few months
90
So start taking advantage of this right now Most guys are doing the complete opposite, you know living a life of high stimulation high dopamine easy accessibility
91
And they wonder why they can't focus why they're getting dumber
92
why they can't get anything done It's very very easy to get ahead
93
if you implement just a few of these into your life
94
And the cool thing is you can start today So
