形と使い方
I work, she works, do you work?, he doesn't — 習慣、日課、いつも成り立つこと
1.形
現在形では動詞の原形を使います。主語が he / she / it（や単数名詞）のときだけ -s / -es をつけます（三人称単数現在の s）。疑問文と否定文には助動詞 do / does が必要です。

Does / doesn't がすでに -s の役目をしているので、後ろの動詞は原形に戻ります：She doesn't like（likes ではない）、Does he play?（plays ではない）。
2.-s / -es のつけ方

語尾の発音：「シュ」「ス」「チ」のような音のあとは /ɪz/（watches, washes, misses）、無声音の p, t, k, f のあとは /s/（works, stops）、それ以外は /z/（plays, reads, lives）。注意：does は /dʌz/、says は /sez/ と発音します。
3.どんなときに使うか
1. 習慣、くり返し起こること
I get up at six every day.
私は毎日6時に起きます。
My dad drinks green tea after dinner.
父は夕食後に緑茶を飲みます。
2. 一般的な事実 — いつも正しいこと
Water boils at 100 degrees.
水は100度で沸騰します。
Cats don't like water.
猫は水が好きではありません。
3. 長く続く状況 — 住んでいる場所、仕事、好みなど
She lives in Can Tho and works for a bank.
彼女はカントーに住んでいて、銀行で働いています。
What do you do? — I'm a designer.
お仕事は何をされていますか？ — デザイナーです。（職業をたずねる言い方）
4. 時刻表や決まった予定（未来のことでも）
The last bus leaves at 10:30.
最終バスは10時半に出ます。
The shop opens at nine on Sundays.
その店は日曜日は9時に開きます。
5. 口に出すこと自体が行為になる表現：I promise, I agree, I suggest, I apologise, I refuse…
I promise I'll call you tonight.
今夜電話すると約束します。
I agree with you.
あなたに賛成です。
4.頻度の副詞
現在形は、どのくらいの頻度かを表す語といっしょによく使われます。頻度の高い順に：always → usually → often → sometimes → rarely / hardly ever → never。
- 一般動詞の前：I often cook at home.
- be 動詞の後ろ：She is always late.
- 否定文では don't/doesn't の後ろ：I don't usually eat meat.
- every day、on Mondays、twice a week などの時を表す語句は、ふつう文の最後に置きます：We play football twice a week.
- 頻度をたずねるとき：How often do you go to the gym?
5.よくある間違い

he/she/it → -s をつけます。

doesn't の後ろは原形です。
