쉐도잉 연습: If You Master Positioning, You Master Trading - 영상으로 영어 말하기 배우기

1
let me tell you something
2
that completely changed the way i trade for years i was
3
trying to become better at finding entries better setups better confirmation
4
and better ways to predict where price was going next
5
but eventually i realized something much more important the entry was
6
not really the problem the real problem was where i was making the decisions
7
because two setups can look almost identical
8
and still be completely different trades a setup in the middle
9
of the the range may have no clear reason to work no clear place to be wrong
10
and almost no space the same setup at a good location can offer completely different trade
11
and that difference is what i call price position
12
and the idea is simple on the first glance you should
13
already have an idea whether there is a potential trade based on where price is
14
and before the entry before the confirmation
15
and before all the little details you first need a location worth making a decision from And in this video, I don't want to tell you that positioning matters.
16
I want to prove why it matters.
17
By looking at risk, the information price gives you, the behavior of trapped traders, and even the way your brain makes decisions.
18
Because once you understand all of those, you'll probably stop looking at setups the same way.
19
Section 1.
20
Position creates the trade.
21
A setup does not have the same value everywhere on the chart.
22
The pattern can be identical, but the trade can be completely different take one bullish reversal
23
and put it in the middle of a range
24
and now put the exact same reversal at an important area
25
from a higher time frame the pattern is the same
26
but the decision is not now the setup only tells you what just happened
27
but position tells you whether what happened matters most of you see an entry signal
28
and immediately ask should i take it but before
29
that ask whether this is even a place where a decision makes sense
30
so the better question is why should i care about this happening here
31
if you don't have a good answer you probably do not
32
have a trade markets are always doing something candles are always forming levels are always breaking
33
and prices always moving but an event becomes a real opportunity only
34
when it happens at a location
35
that gives it a meaning the more clear the location the
36
more useful the response a strong reaction at a bad location
37
may tell you very little a clear response at a good
38
location gives you something you can actually make a decision from
39
so the rule is simple a setup is a trigger location
40
gives the trigger meaning the entry should come after you've already decided
41
that the location is interesting
42
and not before section two your location defines the risk imagine
43
prices sitting right in the middle of a large range
44
and you decide to buy where exactly are you wrong a
45
little below the entry below the last candle below the nearest swing
46
or below the entire range there is no obvious boundary
47
or invalidation and when the market has not given you a clear point where the idea is wrong, you usually have to invent one.
48
No clear invalidation means you have an arbitrary risk.
49
Now move the exact decision toward the edge of a structure.
50
Price reaches an important level, reacts, and give you a clear point beyond which the idea no longer makes sense.
51
The entry at the edge can produce a smaller logical risk
52
and far more available space the entry in the middle cannot
53
a good trade needs two things a place where you're wrong
54
and enough space if you're right
55
that is all risk geometry means how far you are from
56
being wrong compared with how much room price has to move i'm not saying i want a five hour trade
57
so i'll place my stop here and target there
58
that is backwards you do not manufacture asymmetry you find it the location either gives you good reward to risk
59
or it does not a good location can give you a close logical stop
60
and plenty of room for price to move a bad location forces you to choose between a wide stop
61
and a stop
62
that does not actually mean anything section 3 important locations create
63
information important locations make price easier to read not every candle contains the same amount of useful information
64
what price does only becomes meaningful
65
when you understand where it's happening a huge candle in the middle of nowhere can tell me almost nothing
66
but a tiny rejection at exactly the right location can tell
67
me much more movement alone is not information context determines what
68
the movement means think about a major level before price reaches
69
it we don't know how the market will behave there does price reject accept above it
70
or sweep through it
71
and come back a level is not a prediction it's a
72
place where i expect the market to give me useful information
73
that is why i do not automatically buy
74
because price reaches support i do care because now i can watch how buyers
75
and sellers behave around something meaningful if it holds that is information
76
if it sweeps through and recovers that is information if it fails
77
that is information
78
and this gives you another advantage you do not have to predict as much wait for the location
79
and then read the response let the market show you something
80
first section 4 position shows you who's trapped we can explain liquidity in a simple way markets often move aggressively
81
when someone is forced to act the strongest order is sometime
82
a forced one imagine prices sitting underneath a very obvious previous high price breaks above it they got traders by
83
while traders who were short have stops above the same high
84
but then price fails to hold about the level and falls back underneath
85
and suddenly the people who bought the break out are not
86
just buyer anymore they are trapped buyers they eventually has a decision to make hold exit add
87
or get stopped the same idea applies in the other direction
88
someone caught short beneath an important low has to buy to exit
89
if price reclaims the level that exit can help fuel the move this is why liquidity is really about positioning
90
entries create stops and failed positions create exits and liquidity is not interesting
91
because there is a line above a high it's interesting
92
because people have made decisions around that line so
93
when price reach is an important location ask a different kind of question who entered here
94
and who's wrong here who may be forced to exit now
95
you're not just looking at a candle pattern you're thinking about
96
the people whose positions may force them to act section five good positioning removes bad decisions.
97
Without price position almost anything looks tradable.
98
You can convert yourself to buy, you can convert yourself to sell and you can find a setup in either direction.
99
Every option stays open even when most of those options are bad.
100
But once you understand the position most choices disappear.
101
Price may be too high for the long you want, too low for the short you want, too central to justify either or exactly where your setup becomes interesting.
102
The position filters the decision before the setup does.
103
On the first glance, you should already have an idea whether there is even a potential trade based on where price is.
104
Position eliminates bad decisions first.
105
Experienced traders make trading look simple not because they see less but because they can dismiss more faster.
106
The beginner asks what can I trade but the expert asks what can I eliminate.
107
Section 6.
108
Being flat gives you an advantage.
109
Most of you underestimate the advantage of having no trade open
110
if price has not reached a position
111
that interests you you do not have to predict anything you can just wait
112
and while you wait you still have every option available you can buy
113
or sell later or do nothing but the second you enter
114
that flexibility changes now you're committed a trader with no position can watch price break a level
115
and say okay my idea was wrong
116
but a committed trader may say it's probably a fake out
117
waiting preserve your ability to make a decision after more information
118
arrives section seven bad positioning creates emotional trading a lot of
119
traders think every emotional mistake means they need to be more disciplined sometime they do
120
but sometime the trade was unclear before the emotion even started
121
you chase price after a big move now your stop is wider your target is closer
122
and every small pullback threatens the trade bad location creates an unclear stop
123
that creates too much risk and that risk creates emotion so what happens you you watch every candle you move this stop, you take profit too early,
124
and you second guess everything.
125
That looks like a psychology problem, but look at where the problem started.
126
The emotion started before the entry with a bad decision about location.
127
Now compare that with a position where your invalidation is obvious.
128
You know what proves you're wrong, you know how much you're risking, and why you're there.
129
Good position does not remove emotion, it removes unnecessary decisions, and discipline becomes much easier when the trade itself is clear.
130
Section 8.
131
The real skill is knowing when not to trade.
132
Tomorrow when you open your chart, do not start with the entry.
133
Before you even think about your setup, ask four questions.
134
The first one is, where is price?
135
Is it actually near a level that matters to my strategy?
136
Where am I wrong?
137
Is there a clear point where the reason for the trade is no longer true?
138
And the third one is, who's positioned here?
139
Are traders trapped?
140
Or is there a clear reason someone may be forced to act
141
and the fourth is there a space
142
if i'm right does price actually have room to move
143
if those four answers are not clear the entry does not matter yet
144
and only after the location makes sense the response is clear
145
and the risk is defined should the entry matter
146
and the problem is most spend most of their energy on
147
the final two percent of the decisions the exact entry the perfect confirmation
148
and the perfect candle but
149
that final decision was often decided much earlier by where price was
150
when you started paying attention
151
so there is one thing i want you to take from
152
this video it is this the goal is not to become
153
incredible at finding more trades the goal is to recognize the
154
few places where taking risk actually makes sense good positioning gives
155
you what most traders try to create after entering a meaningful setup a logical invalidation good reward to risk
156
and people on the other side who may be forced to
157
act an event is not automatically a trade it needs a meaningful location a defined risk
158
and a reason the opportunity exists now
159
if what you actually need is a strategy what
160
if your full plan is just a week now this week
161
here is going to give you the direction the entry stop loss
162
and actually everything you need just based on one week
163
and it's a high reward risk setup and the edge model is universal meaning
164
that it works on most pairs and most time frames so
165
if you think this is right for you
166
and what you actually need make sure to check out each
167
school these are some results of the people inside the community
168
and these are some of the classes let's continue and
169
when those things are not there you do not need another confirmation you probably need no trade
170
that is why mastering positioning changes trading
171
so much it does not help you predict every move it makes you better at deciding
172
which modes are even worth risking money on
173
because the quality of a trade does not begin when you click buy or sell see you next one
