Time to get started.

First, open your web browser and head to the Class Timetables page on the RMIT Vietnam website.
6
Click the Access My Timetable button and sign in using your RMIT student email and password.
7
Once you log in, you will land on your dashboard.
8
Think of this as your homepage.
9
Up in the top right corner, notice the time zone drop down.
10
It defaults to Vietnam time, but you can easily change it here to view another time zone.
11
Or in your settings, and the system will remember your preference for next time.
12
Below it, you will see your upcoming events list.
13
This gives you a quick snapshot of your schedule for the days ahead, so you never miss a class.
14
You can click any class here to see its full details.
15
In the center of your dashboard, you will find a welcome message and the action required section.
16
You can select your class groups from here during the class selection period.
17
Right underneath that, keep an eye on your alerts for quick updates on your waitlist success.
18
You can also access these from the main menu on the left.
19
Just click the Alerts tab, then select any alert to view the full details of your updated class group.
20
The left -hand menu is also where you will find the Help and How -To's box.
21
Click Learn More to access the Resource Hub.
22
With user guides, tutorial videos, support links, and most importantly, your key dates.
23
Keep an eye on these dates because you can only select or change your class groups during the class selection period.
24
If you ever forget, you can quickly check these dates here.
25
In your dashboard's welcome message.
26
Or on the class timetables page.
27
To view your full schedule, click timetable on the left -hand menu from your dashboard.
28
This opens your main workspace, which is divided into three sections the main menu on the left,
29
your timetable area or timetable grid in the center, and the action pane on the right.
30
Let's look at the action pane, which lists your enrolled courses.
31
Always check the Not Allocated tab.
32
It highlights any classes you still need to choose with the red exclamation mark.
33
You will also notice that every course is displayed in its own unique color, making it easy to spot them.
34
Take a closer look at the action pane.
35
Each card you see here is a class type.
36
This is the general requirement you need to fulfill.
37
Like a lecture or a tutorial.
38
Click on a class type to expand it and reveal your class groups.
39
These are the specific time slots available to you.
40
Your goal is to pick one class group for each class type.
41
On the timetable grid, available time slots appear as empty boxes with dotted outlines.
42
If a box has diagonal stripes, it means that class is currently unavailable usually because it's full,
43
or it clashes with a selected class in your schedule.
44
You can always click
45
View More on the Class Type card to see the exact class details.
46
Here is an important tip.
47
When actively building your schedule, Always keep the summary toggle turned on.
48
You need this toggle on to see your full semester, access the action pane, and select or change your classes.
49
If you want to focus on a specific day or week, turn the summary toggle off.
50
The action pane is hidden.
51
But your navigation arrows and date picker will become active so you can browse your daily routine.
52
Just remember to flip the toggle back on to make any changes.
53
Next, use the top left icons to switch between views.
54
GridView displays your timetable in a standard calendar layout.
55
While ListView gives you a streamlined, chronological list.
56
Keep in mind that the action pane is hidden in ListView.
57
So always switch back to GridView with your summary toggle on to select or change your class groups types.
58
You can also use the filter icon to easily find specific class types, like online or tutorial classes.
59
Finally, once your schedule is completely set,
60
click the printer icon in the top right corner to save a pdf or print a hard copy from either view
61
You can also sync your timetable directly to your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar.
62
Just head over to your settings on the left menu to copy your unique calendar subscription link.
63
That is everything needed to navigate and manage the schedule.
64

  • De klanken “sh” en “zh”: subscription /səbˈskɹɪpʃən/, navigation /nævɪˈɡeɪʃən/, clash /ˈklæʃ/, dashboard /ˈdæʃˌboɹd/, exclamation /ˌɛkskləˈmeɪʃn̩/
  • Lange woorden — let op de klemtoon: importantly /ɪmˈpɔɹ.tənt.li/, navigation /nævɪˈɡeɪʃən/, unavailable /ˌʌnəˈveɪləbəl/, chronological /ˌkɹɑnəˈlɑd͡ʒɪkəl/, confidently /ˈkɑnfɪdəntli/

Klanken die Nederlandstaligen lastig vinden:

  • /æ/ — opener dan de Nederlandse “e”: calendar /ˈkæl.ən.də/, navigate /ˈnæv.ɪ.ɡeɪt/, expand /ɪkˈspænd/, actively /ˈæktɪvli/, arrow /ˈæɹəʊ/
  • /g/ — een harde plofklank, geen Nederlandse “g”: grid /ɡɹɪd/, navigate /ˈnæv.ɪ.ɡeɪt/, navigation /nævɪˈɡeɪʃən/, toggle /ˈtɒɡ.əl/, diagonal /daɪ̯ˈæɡ(ə)nəl/

Zo oefen je met deze video
