Practice Tips
To boost your speaking practice and pronunciation practice, use the shadowing technique with this video. The speaker’s pace is conversational—neither too fast nor too slow—making it ideal for beginners. Pause the video after each sentence, then repeat it immediately, mimicking the tone, stress, and intonation. Focus on phrases like "Let people be wrong about you" and "your job is to be true to yourself" to master natural rhythm. For tricky words like "perception" or "authentic," break them into syllables (per-cep-tion, au-then-tic) and practice saying them slowly before speeding up. This method will help you internalize the language and speak more confidently in everyday conversations.
