And today I'm going to take you guys to have delicious pho

And when I mention about pho The first image in your head is this Right?

But have you ever heard of pho guon, which is made of white flat noodles, rolled with savory stir-fried beef and fresh herbs?

And have you ever tried another delicious dish called pho chien phong, which is a perfect combination of crispy fried pho pillows, served with warm and thick gravy,

and topped with stir-fried marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and sauteed onions?

So stop thinking about the traditional pho and start exploring the new pho.

So we're here, we're at the 7th Mạc Định Chi and this place is called Phở Cuốn Chinh Thắng.

A lot of my friends recommended this place to me

and they said she was the one who invented the first Phở Cuốn and Phở Chien Phong.

So I am very curious to learn more about her as well as her Phở.

let's come right in to see how she prepared Pho.

She's making the fried Pho pillows right now.

First off, she deep-fried some eggs in a pot of boiling oil.

Then she tosses small squares of Pho noodles into the boiling oil, deep-fried them until they turn into golden puffy pillow shapes.

After that, she stir-fried savory beef, green mustard, onions and tomatoes.

While waiting for the sauce, she cuts up eggs and sets up the pho pillows on top.

Finally, she pours warm and thick gravy on top of the crispy pho.

It looks so yummy!

Inside the restaurant, I see a lot of articles about her in different languages such as English, Vietnamese and Japanese.

I also got a chance to interview her and learn more about her stories.

Hello, first of all, can you introduce yourself a little bit about your food?

My name is Vũ Thị Trinh.

I'm 65 years old.

I'm from Hà Nội, a house shop.

In 1981, I started buying food from 1981.

In 2000, I saw food from the first day, I made food from 2000.

In the time of the day, it was very hot, 37-38 degrees, and it was very hot.

because she has the vegan inflated fried pho pillow

and it's from 30,000 to 50,000 VN which is very very affordable Okay guys,

so I just ordered the pho rolls which is pho quen in Vietnamese

and the fried pho pillows which is pho chien phong

and as you can see the pho chien phong is

so eye-catching and so unique with a lot of toppings in there

and Pho Quon it looks so simple

and is being placed beautifully on a plate

and it looks like a pyramid okay

so let's dig in to see how they taste like okay

so I'm gonna try this one first since I don't want to lose the crunchiness in it

so I'm gonna try the Pho Chien Phong which is the fried Pho pillows first This is so good So good

Wow This pho is phenomenal

The pillow shape right here They look so fluffy and

so soft guys The magical thing for this pho is that It's very crispy, very crunchy outside But at the same time,

the inside is chewy And it's very soft It's super crunchy

The beef is very soft and very tender And I can smell like peppers, garlic and oyster sauce in there

I honestly can eat it every day Moving on to the

next dish This one is pho rolls In Vietnamese we called it pho cuan This one, don't you think it looks like a mini burrito?

Looks so beautiful, right?

This one is served with sweet and sour fish sauce and

if you come to Vietnam you can realize

that the fish sauce is being served with many dishes especially in the south like Cơm tấm,

chả rò, bún thịt nướng etc. You know like fish sauce is the sole Vietnamese cuisine right?

So let's dip it in this sauce and we'll see how good it is

I was so surprised by how the simple ingredients can make this sophisticatedly delicious dish.

It's really good, very simple, very very delicious.

Here you can see the three main ingredients.

Beef, bò, noodle, and the veggies.

The veggie is, the main veggies here is like lettuce and cilantro.

I can smell hints of mint in there.

And the beef is very well seasoned and very savory.

And you can see like a little bit of the gravy in there too, which makes it not too dry, but it's very moist inside and

when you dip it with a fish sauce yep it's a perfect perfect combination oh my gosh i am

so full guys but this is

so delicious to be honest i can just order like a plate a small plate of this

and then i can eat it up you know

but overall everything is

so good i would rate this place 10 out of 10

to be honest the food is actually very fresh very good very delicious

and i really love the location here compared to other places in moussa there's too crowded you know but

if you sit here you don't have to deal with the

crowd you don't have to deal with people it's very private

and very quiet very peaceful so the location is 10 out of 10 11 out of 10.

Her hospitality she's a very very great person very friendly

when we first came in she greeted us like like she knew us for a long time

and i really love her personality and she loves sharing stories

so that's what i love about her i definitely will come back to this place

so if you come to hanoi these two dishes are gonna be Maybe you must try

if you are sick of the traditional pho.
