ฝึกพูดภาษาอังกฤษด้วยเทคนิค Shadowing จากวิดีโอ: The WORST Ways People Have DIED..

กำลังสร้างบทเรียน...
1
You probably think you know the worst ways someone could die, but trust me, you don't.
2
Because today, we're looking at people who died in ways so horrifying, so bizarre, and so unexpected that they sound completely made up.
3
But every story you're about to hear in this video actually happens.
4
So, let's take a look at our first one, which is the Nutty Putty Cave Incident.
5
Now, if you don't know what the Nutty Putty Cave Incident is, it happened back in 2009, which was pretty recent.
6
And the victim was 26 -year -old medical student John Edward Jones.
7
entered Utah's Nutty Putty Cave, and while exploring, he accidentally crawled into an unmapped, extremely narrow passage, believing it led somewhere else.
8
But instead of it leading somewhere else, he became wedged, completely upside down, in a passage barely wider than his body.
9
And he was stuck in there for so long that this is definitely one of the worst ways somebody could die.
10
But let's take a look at this video to get some more information.
11
seasoned cavers John and Josh plunged deep into a complex Utah cave system known as Nutty Putty, but what the 26 year old didn't know is that he was crawling to his death.
12
The pair took a wrong turn, which is when John became stuck upside down with no way out.
13
After 27 hours and many rescue attempts, John was declared dead and the cave became his tomb where his body still remains.
14
tried everything they could to free him.
15
But the cave was simply too tight, as you saw in that video.
16
And this Nutty Putty Cave incident makes it one of the worst ways people could have died, because John Jones was trapped headfirst,
17
which means the pressure on his body slowly caused his organs to fail, and he tragically died before rescuers could pull him out.
18
And like that video said, his body was never recovered, and it is still in the Nutty Putty Cave today.
19
And if you thought every second just to circulate blood to the rest of his body, putting it under enormous strain.
20
And putting your heart under strain is not good for your body.
21
Because if less blood is circulating to places like your lungs and your heart is being strained, that means you're going to get less oxygen.
22
And with less oxygen reaching his organs, his kidneys, his liver, and other vital systems, they all likely began to fail one by one.
23
And after more than 27 hours trapped inside the cave, cardiac arrest before rescuers could pull him free.
24
Making this one of the worst ways people have died.
25
And as scary as the Nutty Putty Cave is, it's not nearly as disturbing as some of the punishments that were used in medieval executions many, many years ago.
26
And apparently this next short will discuss that.
27
on the wheel the victim was taken to the top of some publicly erected scaffolding
28
and tied fast to the floor their bodies slightly raised from
29
the ground with wooden blocks positioned directly under their joints a
30
wooden wheel would then be repeatedly dropped upon the limbs of the restrained prisoner What?
31
The goal of the first part, yes, there's multiple parts, was mutilation, not death.
32
So care was taken to ensure the victim would survive this part of the process, working from the feet upwards.
33
The second part is where things get a bit
34
Twisted with the limbs now broken the victim can now be effectively braided into the spokes of the wheel
35
What's tethered to a mast and hoisted into the air
36
and left for the buzzards if you survived all this
37
and you fell from the wheel It was considered divine intervention from God all your crimes would be forgiven
38
and the locals would be obliged to give you medical treatment Though you likely wouldn't be running any marathons anytime soon.
39
The wise to die is insane I cannot believe humans used
40
to do punishments like this to people back in the day
41
crimes and instead of going to court
42
and jail like how we are in normal times you would
43
be sentenced to just torture by a wooden wheel of all things that's insane
44
but somehow dying to
45
that medieval form of torture isn't as bad as some of the rest of these
46
that we're gonna look at like a chocolate factory disaster yeah
47
I don't know how a chocolate factory disaster could be a
48
very bad way to die I'm not even sure how somebody even died in a chocolate factory
49
but let's take a look at it Sanna Rosina, a 24 -year -old woman,
50
was engaged in a phone conversation when suddenly her mobile slipped from her hand and fell into a chocolate -making machine.
51
In an attempt to retrieve it, she leaned towards the machine but tragically lost her balance and fell inside.
52
Some time later, a worker approached the machine and was horrified to see a pair of legs spinning inside.
53
When he pulled them out, he realized that the upper half of her body was missing.
54
Before we continue, if you're finding this video interesting, don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.
55
Yeah, okay.
56
We just learned that somebody got cut in half.
57
Anyways, like and subscribe.
58
Like what?
59
Yo, this lady literally was on her phone.
60
She dropped her phone into boiling hot chocolate, a spinning machine as well.
61
And you reach in there and try to grab it?
62
Get a new phone.
63
Why would you risk your life over a phone?
64
Some people are actually stupid.
65
You're kind of asking for that to happen if you're doing all that just to get your phone back.
66
But anyways, as you can see, factory deaths are definitely super creepy because of how unnoticed they can get.
67
Nobody really noticed that she was in that factory machine for a little bit.
68
But unlike factory deaths that can go unnoticed, the next way this lady died was very noticed.
69
In fact, an entire crowd actually witnessed it happen, but apparently she refused help.
70
Yeah, um, I'm asking the same question.
71
But this is called the Cobra Attack Incident, and just off the name, it sounds horrifying.
72
So let's take a look.
73
Here we go.
74
A 29 -year -old singer was known for incorporating live Cobras into her performances.
75
any serious incidents until now.
76
During one of her shows, she accidentally pressed down on the snake's body.
77
In response, the cobra struck, delivering a venomous bite.
78
The medical team rushed to administer the antidote, but Irma refused treatment, insisting on continuing her performance.
79
However, due to the highly toxic nature of cobra venom, within minutes, she collapsed on stage and lost her life right in front of her fans.
80
Why?
81
Okay, she's just stupid.
82
Why would you refuse the antidote to snake venom?
83
Of course you're gonna die.
84
What the heck?
85
She was just because snake venom, especially to the face, which is what that animation showed, that had to have hurt.
86
That is definitely a really bad way to go out.
87
But let's move on to the next thing, because imagine living in the ancient Viking days and being captured by your enemies, thinking you'd be killed or imprisoned or something.
88
I mean, obviously you're in a war, so being captured by your enemies, you would obviously think that because they actually wouldn't kill you.
89
You would actually find out that they would perform one of the most brutal and disturbing torture Here we go.
90
The Vikings had an execution so brutal that it was reserved only for their worst enemies.
91
It was called the Blood Eagle and it's one of the most horrifying punishments in human history.
92
Here's how it worked.
93
The victim would be placed face down while Viking warriors used axes to break their ribs from behind.
94
But they weren't trying to kill them quickly.
95
The ribs were carefully pulled apart.
96
And then the lungs were yanked out through the back to look like spread eagle wings.
97
Oh, that's painful.
98
The victim was kept alive during this entire process.
99
To make the agony even worse, Vikings would rub salt into the open wound.
100
Oh, oh my gosh.
101
That's insane.
102
Okay, if you've ever had like an open wound, like I don't know, like you maybe like cut yourself on something or you fell onto like the road.
103
You fell off your bike onto the road
104
and like you have like a mark and then you accidentally get salt in that mark or that open wound. That burns.
105
Imagine that, but like 1 million times worse.
106
And it's still not over.
107
This wasn't just random cruelty though.
108
The Blood Eagle was a ritual offering to Odin.
109
The Norse god of war.
110
The victim's blood was used to paint runic symbols on nearby stones.
111
For years, historians thought this was just a scary story from old Viking tales.
112
I mean, I would too.
113
But archaeologists have actually found skeletons with the exact rib fracture patterns that match this execution method.
114
Proving it really happened during the 9th and 10th centuries.
115
That's insane, bro.
116
That, like, you have to be another level of evil to do that to somebody else.
117
do something bad enough for people to do
118
that to you what could you have possibly done to get
119
that done to you that is definitely one of the worst ways to die
120
but let's take a look at this next one on march
121
16 2009 11 year old bryany goodsell her younger sister
122
and her friend naomi were playing in their hometown of darwin
123
australia oh my goodness okay listen australia is home to like the biggest spiders
124
and like scariest creatures ever so i can imagine where this is going the bike ride to Black Jungle,
125
a local creek crossing where they had previously swum, so they didn't think there was any danger.
126
However, this time they wanted to explore further downstream, which was inside the reserve, so they had to go through a wire boundary fence to reach it.
127
Despite the reserve's reputation as a habitat for dangerous species, there was no warning about the possibility of crocodile activity in the area.
128
Okay.
129
Unaware that there were crocodiles in the water, the group of kids began to swim and play.
130
Oh no. Suddenly, Briony screamed for help, and her friends quickly turned to see her sinking below the water's surface.
131
They immediately rushed to exit the water and reach a safe place.
132
They didn't help her late for the young girl.
133
Oh Her death serves as a warning of the dangers of swimming in unfamiliar areas, particularly in places known to have crocodiles.
134
Oh my goodness, bro.
135
That's insane.
136
Even if she survived that, correct?
137
She needs to lose all of her friends because those are not real friends.
138
She's screaming for help and the first thing they do is not help her but get out of the water?
139
What?
140
I feel like this death could have been avoided if her friends helped her.
141
But that's insane.
142
She did not deserve that.
143
You definitely, if you're going to go swim in a lake, a pool, or not a pool, but a lake, a pond, maybe even the ocean.
144
Check around for the signs that say, like, you can't swim.
145
There's this in the water.
146
There's this in the area.
147
Because if you don't, then something bad could happen.
148
But let's move on to another very bad way to go out.
149
And this one actually took place in ancient China.
150
Worst deaths in history.
151
Here we go.
152
Oh, wait.
153
Actually, it takes place in ancient Greece and ancient China.
154
But what's this one in ancient Greece?
155
Suffocated in massive pile of clothing.
156
What?
157
clothes actually that does make sense
158
if you fall into like a massive pile of clothes
159
and you can't find your way out it's gonna get hard to breathe in there
160
but let's take a look at ancient china's here we go
161
what's the bad way of this one drowned in a toilet
162
that doesn't sound fun oh man imagine drowning in a toilet
163
and in ancient times they didn't have flushing toilets by the way
164
so you're drowning in other things that are also in that toilet that is way worse than a massive pile of
165
called the body saw this one's gruesome fair warning worst ways
166
people have died in ancient times here we go ancient europe The Body Saw Oh my goodness.
167
Yo!
168
That was insane!
169
Dude, this body saw is crazy!
170
Imagine - oh my gosh!
171
And you're hung upside down too.
172
That - you gotta do something else to like get that done to you, bruh.
173
Let's take a look at ancient Asia.
174
What is this one?
175
Pulled apart?
176
Oh!
177
Yo, that last part from the short was a clip from a movie.
178
So obviously it was video effects.
179
That was crazy I don't even know how that's still up on YouTube.
180
What the heck did I just see?
181
That's crazy though I didn't know people tore each other apart
182
with trees in ancient Asia people are getting creative with these ways of torture I feel like
183
if we were if we put
184
that creativity to something not involving torture like maybe finding cures
185
to diseases back then Then a lot of diseases wouldn't exist today, but no instead we decided to pull people apart with trees
186
Torture oh boy the worst in history episode 7 rat torture
187
this nightmare usually begins with the victim being strapped down to a flat surface He just placed upon the stomach
188
or over the face Subsequently filled with rats watch our pool
189
is placed on the top of the cage until the temperature becomes absolutely unbearable for the creatures
190
and Clawing at the metal bars doesn't work
191
so the rats turn their attention to the next best thing
192
they have the squishy surface below their feet You could do nothing
193
but watch as the rats use the inside of your body as a heat shield burrowing into your flesh your face
194
torture is connected to friend of the show Emperor Nero, who would use it as a tool of justice against his foes.
195
And rather than heat, he would starve the rats and confine them with the victim inside a barrel.
196
And hungry, the rats would then eat the victim That is insane, bro.
197
Oh my god.
198
Oh!
199
I would not want to go out by rats.
200
I hate rats.
201
I hate rodents.
202
I hate bugs.
203
But anyways, before we continue on with the worst ways that people have died, can I ask you guys a quick question?
204
It's going to seem a little bit out of the ordinary, but what do you think is more dangerous?
205
This cheetah or this little tape measurer?
206
Now, most people would obviously guess the cheetah, right?
207
And if you did, you'd actually be wrong.
208
Because somehow, a tape measurer actually has taken a life.
209
There's no way that's true.
210
I don't even believe this.
211
Let's take a look at this tape measure murder.
212
Worst ways people have died.
213
Alright, here we go.
214
Gary Anderson.
215
Gary Anderson.
216
A tape measure fell from 50 stories and hit him in the head.
217
What the heck?
218
A tape measure fell from 50 stories and hit this dude in the head.
219
Are you serious?
220
Oh my gosh.
221
He was even wearing a safety helmet but walked right into it.
222
Dang.
223
Even this safety helmet didn't protect him.
224
That's crazy, bro.
225
I thought I was about to say, maybe he should have worn a safety helmet, but I guess there was no stopping that one.
226
Anyways, I'm sure a lot of you guys have a fear of roller coasters, and that fear is actually called the loxrophobia.
227
I probably butchered that.
228
But editor, pop up how it's spelled on screen.
229
There you go.
230
And I'm sure, once again, a lot of you guys actually have a fear of roller coasters.
231
I'm even scared of roller coasters.
232
Like, I'm so serious.
233
My friends will all go on roller coasters, and I will sit there on the side, and I will not do it.
234
After watching this next video on the worst deaths, you're not gonna second -guess your fears again on roller coasters because you might be thinking oh You know what?
235
I will actually go on a roller coaster, but after watching this you probably won't this will just make
236
me not want to go on It's always people go hide part six oh Let's take a look.
237
Asia LaShawn Ferguson.
238
The hat - the 17 year old lost his hat while riding.
239
Uh -huh.
240
Him and his friend decided to go grab - Alright bro.
241
Why would you cross the fence of where you're not supposed to go?
242
To grab a hat.
243
Go buy a new hat.
244
What are you doing?
245
It says restricted area.
246
Why would you go?
247
The coaster then came and took off his head!
248
What?!
249
Oh, like why would you go in that area?
250
Oh my goodness.
251
I can't believe this.
252
It's not so much of a roller coaster's fault.
253
It's more of that person's fault.
254
But that death definitely sounds pretty horrible.
255
Like, it was not a good decision at all to jump into a restricted zone.
256
However, though, they were kids.
257
So they most likely didn't know that you weren't supposed to go into that area.
258
I feel like it is common sense.
259
But what if I said something similar happened, but it was an actual trained professional?
260
Like, he was a worker, not a kid.
261
And it was far more extreme than what we just saw.
262
Let's just take a look.
263
Three people who died because of their own mistakes.
264
Blackwood who worked at an amusement park.
265
Actually, it was his first time working near a roller coaster.
266
Suddenly the roller coaster stopped and the two children sitting in it started crying.
267
To make them happy, he climbed up and began pushing the roller coaster.
268
At that moment, the roller coaster started moving again, but his hand got stuck behind.
269
Oh my goodness.
270
And as the roller coaster turned, he fell down and died.
271
The second is Josh Molina.
272
Wow, that's insane.
273
All right, well, he doesn't seem like a trained professional if he climbed onto the tracks and pushed the roller coaster.
274
Like, why would you do that?
275
People are just dumb.
276
Bro.
277
Let's take a look at this next one, though, that's in the short as well.
278
The second is Josh Molina.
279
Josh Molina.
280
He was working on a 10 -foot -large pressure cooker.
281
To do his work, he went inside the pressure cooker.
282
Meanwhile, his friend thought he had gone to the bathroom, so he closed the pressure cooker and turned it on.
283
After that, he was searched for throughout the factory.
284
Announcements were made calling his name, and he was even looked for in the parking area, but he was not found anywhere.
285
Later, when the pressure cooker was opened, his dead body was found inside it.
286
The third is a boy - that
287
and also did the guy not think to scream was it
288
too loud to hear the screen oh my god like bro
289
can people just be more observant what the heck oh my
290
gosh what's this next one named adam who was digging a tunnel in the soil suddenly the soil collapsed
291
and he got trapped inside it
292
which led to his death wow that's insane he was digging a hole in a tunnel the soil collapsed
293
and sucked him in and he suffocated that's scary i'm never digging a hole again heck no
294
but let's take a look at some more ancient torture methods
295
the worst ones of them all the ancient ones are genuinely worst ones.
296
Here we go.
297
Worst ways to die in ancient times.
298
In ancient China, we have ancient China again.
299
This one isn't going to be pulled apart, but it's death by thousand cut.
300
Well, I'm assuming you get a thousand cuts.
301
That doesn't sound fun.
302
Why are we doing this?
303
Ancient India.
304
Let's take a look at this one.
305
Crushed by an elephant.
306
Wow.
307
That's insane.
308
That has to hurt.
309
Jeez, man.
310
But anyways, those were some of the worst ways people have died.
311
Although those were But let me know what you thought was the worst one down in the comments below.
312
