So it looks like we're dealing with some kind of malicious startup program.

So instead of alt tabbing, which normally works to go and switch between multiple programs, I went ahead and pressed Windows and Tab to go and open up a second desktop.

This finally allowed me to go and open up Task Manager, where I was able to actually see that the program that was running was called Windows Security Alert.

And interesting enough, when it comes to this program, it wasn't listed under the startup programs either.

But if I opened up the file location, it was under the startup apps folder, which makes a lot more sense on why it would start up after about 10 seconds.

So after ending the task, I went ahead and deleted the program and then restarted the computer.

And just like that, the system is now back up and running, so let's go ahead and get this cleaned up PC back over to our customer.
