We are here at the library because I need to return this book.
2
It's Saving Time by Jenny O'Dell.
3
Initially, I thought it was like a productivity book, but it's more about burnout and destructive ways workaholics can be
4
and why our culture is so obsessed with beating the time
5
and trying to pack in a bunch of things in one day
6
and how many of us have this complicated relationship with leisure
7
like well we don't know how to relax i only got up to chapter three
8
which is a bummer but someone has this book on hold
9
so maybe they will finish it i think i'm actually just gonna buy this book
10
because i am enjoying it and it's really shaping my own relationship with time and
11
how i evaluate myself because i think ever since i became a mom like a working mom it's it's felt
12
truly impossible to feel like all the pillars in my life are well maintained
13
if i'm killing it in motherhood then my professional life starts to flail
14
if i'm seeing more friends
15
and i can't see family like it's just it just feels
16
like really challenging to divide my finite time into a way where all facets of me feel fulfilled returning this book
17
Thank you.
