Hello everyone.
2
I am teacher Neo and I am here teaching English.
3
Today we are going for a walk actually kind of like a hype to see waterfalls.
4
So we have the first one let's go check it out.
5
Look at this waterfall.
6
It is so pretty.
7
Very pretty.
8
It is cascading down over the rock.
9
Capscading.
10
Wow.
11
And the water is very clear.
12
You can see what's in the water under it.
13
You can see the body of water here that is actually next to the waterfall.
14
And then you can see all of the green trees, green grass.
15
It is very beautiful here.
16
We're going to continue to walk.
17
Found a couple of otters.
18
We also call them river rats.
19
They are playing in the water.
20
Now they're kind of hidden.
21
But they're still over there playing.
22
Oh, there they are.
23
Look at them.
24
Oh, they're running up here.
25
Right here you can see a covered bridge.
26
We're going to walk through the covered bridge as you can see my husband up there.
27
I think covered bridges are really cool looking.
28
They have pictures right here showing them making it.
29
Wow.
30
Here's another picture here and then as we walk through the covered bridge there is an area with some small waterfall
31
and that's going just right over a vehicle path and then you can see a bottle body of water down here.
32
Not bottle of water.
33
It's a body of water.
34
And then it comes over here to this side.
35
Isn't that so pretty?
36
It is gorgeous.
37
And we're going to continue walking.
38
The bridge is made out of wood.
39
Looks like they have pictures down here too.
40
So, and we're going to continue on the path.
41
Here we have come upon some more waterfalls.
42
Oh, if we come over here we see a lot of fish.
43
Wow, see the fish swimming around in the water.
44
The fish are swimming in the water.
45
There are a lot of fish. Do you see them?
46
Several fish are in the water.
47
It is very sunny out and my hair actually looks pretty sunny.
48
I have wisps of hair hanging out of my hat.
49
The sun makes it look sunny.
50
So this is a really neat nature walk.
51
It is hot.
52
The sun is very bright.
53
Alright, so we came up on some more water.
54
This is a little river and you see right up ahead another waterfall.
55
Waterfalls are so pretty.
56
And we're on a bridge here.
57
So as we go on our walk, we see a lot of trees.
58
grass and leaves
59
so many things hey we're gonna continue walking look at the
60
pretty water wow it is super clear we found some more
61
water here with a little bit of waterfall see how pretty
62
that is so we're kind of walking on a dirt trail at the moment
63
and checking out the water right here it looks like there
64
might be a big rock under there there's a couple of rocks there I'm just kind of curious oh
65
that is from the Sun the Sun is beaming down haha just so you know that There's a sunbeam on the water. So.
66
Okay, we're going to continue walking down this way.
67
My husband and son are already over there.
68
They're taking pictures of the waterfall.
69
There are more fish down here.
70
The fish in the water here are trout. So, they are trout.
71
There sure are a lot of them.
72
Alright, we're going to go and see the full view of this waterfall.
73
Apparently they have a bench here for a reason.
74
To be able to see the waterfall and admire it.
75
There we go.
76
Look at this.
77
Look at how pretty that is. So pretty.
78
I love watching the waterfall tap fade down.
79
And I'm seeing the fish going around.
80
I could definitely sit here for hours just mesmerized in nature here.
81
It is just beautiful, peaceful,
82
lovely, and yeah, this is just a good spot to be.
83
I'm going to have a seat on the bench and enjoy this view for a moment and take a break from walking.
84
we have found a different trail that goes to a canyon block
85
so we're gonna go
86
and see what's at the end of this trail there are
87
a lot of spider webs as we walk on this trail
88
because not a lot of people walk on it let's see if i can focus in on this spiderweb.
89
There it is.
90
You'll see it.
91
Look how round it is.
92
I said earlier they look like a CD.
93
So they're pretty cool looking.
94
But we are supposed to watch out for snapping turtles or poisonous snakes and everything like that.
95
So we're staying on the trail making sure we don't see any of those things because I definitely have sandals on.
96
I do not have the correct shoes on to walk on trails like this,
97
But with both my son and my husband walking ahead, they should be able to see something before I come ahead.
98
We are at the end of the trail and this is what a box canyon looks like.
99
You have rock formations that are all around you.
100
It kind of boxes you in.
101
Very cool looking.
102
You can see the different layers of rock and just goes all the way around.
103
How neat is this?
104
Let me know in the comments how many of you love to go hiking like this to find different things
105
and to explore nature.
106
The honey bees sure are fun.
107
Oh, the honey bees really like this flower plant.
108
I hear them buzzing and they look over there and they come all over the place.
109
Oh wow, neat.
110
And if we keep on walking, look at this.
111
We keep going into the canyon.
112
Yeah.
113
Wow.
114
How neat is this?
115
This is very cool.
116
What's over there that's moving around?
117
Just a lot of water dripping.
118
Oh, there.
119
Trace, you'll like this.
120
You can actually get on top of the rock up here. So. So
121
so see you can actually try to get up there you
122
probably could watch this night yeah they like to live in cracks of rocks
123
and leaves yeah that's true don't don't step in the leaves
124
back in this area there's uh no exit for them so they'll feel a little more cornered
125
on these rocks you can see moss growing on it that's what this is this moss and then you have
126
some tree looms kind of growing around as well
127
so this is a pretty neat little area that we got to come across we are going to walk back
128
down to the regular path and continue looking for waterfalls.
129
So we came across a cave entrance.
130
It's really neat looking but it is closed off basically
131
because they have had cave-ins meaning that the cave falls in and so it's not very safe
132
and they want to keep it to where the animals can actually use it still.
133
So that way that humans can't tear it in or anything like that.
134
So my husband's over there looking at it.
135
And that's what it looks like.
136
So and then we are back on the walking trail.
137
I found a caterpillar.
138
Do you see this little caterpillar?
139
It is crawling around, just inching by.
140
Wow.
141
I love finding little things around the nature as I walk around.
142
I love it.
143
You find super neat animals and critters.
144
And here we have come upon another body of water with a waterfall.
145
This is so gorgeous here.
146
Very pretty and peaceful.
147
OK, we're going to continue walking.
148
Alright, so we came up on another waterfall.
149
My son went on ahead.
150
And he is up there behind the waterfall.
151
See, we have a point right here.
152
And we can take a picture.
153
So let's go ahead and walk up there and check out this waterfall.
154
This is on the other side of this bridge and then look right here.
155
Okay, we're gonna get over there.
156
Look how pretty it is.
157
I don't know.
158
What do you all think?
159
There it is.
160
There's the waterfall.
161
How cool is that?
162
Wow.
163
And they have a place to go and sit.
164
My husband likes to be silly.
165
Pretty neat.
166
Alright.
167
Now we found another waterfall.
168
and it goes into this huge body of water with us.
169
And as we look, we walk over this way, we can see some fish living around.
170
And this is what the whole area looks like right here.
171
and we're going to walk back to the path.
172
So as I continue walking and getting warm, you can see my cheeks getting red because I'm just warm.
173
And I'm a little sweaty, if you can see that.
174
but it is such a lovely day for a walk
175
and it is beautiful here i wish i could walk this at least once a week
176
that would be awesome but we don't live around here
177
so it's okay all right and then here is a another one let me show you this
178
there we go this is a smaller part from the area.
179
And walking down the steps. And you can see.
180
Oh, there's a lot of fish right over here.
181
There are places where you can buy fish food and so that's why they all come swimming up.
182
Because they think that you have food and that you're going to throw food out.
183
Look at them.
184
They're ready for some food.
185
But we don't have any food on us.
186
And here's the whole area here.
187
Isn't it so pretty?
188
It is lovely.
189
Okay, sorry fishies.
190
No food here.
191
on the path right here is another water stream we are kind of walking by where there's no water
192
and so it's kind of not as exciting but as we walk you can hear all of the nature sounds
193
all the birds
194
feet walking
195
so I hear a woodpecker it's really neat
196
so so this path is pretty long we've been stopping and checking things out and everything.
197
We are almost to the state line of Missouri and Arkansas.
198
So this is Dogwood Canyon Park.
199
I guess Dogwood Canyon State Park.
200
Highly recommend it.
201
So I'll show you the entrance once we get ready to
202
leave it's a nature park yeah it's a nature park and we're not quite
203
ready to turn around yet so there is a turtle all right see the turtle
204
pretty awesome and then over here a bunch of fish just hanging out A school of fish.
205
Yeah, a school of fish is what it's called when you have a group of fish.
206
It's a school of fish.
207
And now as we walk along the trail,
208
you can see that we made it to Arkansas.
209
So crossing over from Missouri to Arkansas.
210
Oh, look!
211
Welcome to Missouri.
212
oh now I'm in Missouri
213
and now I'm in Arkansas yeah all right pretty cool welcome to Arkansas
214
and then you have welcome to Missouri okay now the other side I'm doing selfies isn't
215
that going to be backwards probably yeah it will be
216
and here is a dragonfly flying around and actually walk closer to it
217
wow look at it just hovering over the water okay hovering means that it's above the water just
218
kind of staying still but now it's flying around again so all right i'm gonna continue walking
219
we have turned around
220
and we are heading back since we made it to the
221
arkansas missouri line we decided we're going to go ahead
222
and go back so
223
if i have anything else to show you i will show you here in a minute
224
but we need to get back so we can eat lunch and then get ready to go watch a show
225
here in Branson, Missouri.
226
Oh, Thunder Falls is six.
227
Oh, we have less than a month.
228
Okay, we are done with the trail.
229
This is Dogwood Canyon. Or, yeah, right?
230
Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
231
so this is dogwood canyon nature park
232
and there are a lot of things to do here you
233
can go on a bicycle you can walk you can go
234
on a tram um you can even go horseback riding
235
so it's very awesome but definitely um recommend it you can even go fishing here
