But, Mother, I don't want to grow up.
40
Now, dear, don't worry about it anymore tonight.
41
Mrs. Darling tucked the children in and closed the nursery window.
42
Oh, don't lock it, Mother.

He?

67
Why?
68
Because I have to grow up tomorrow.
69
Grow up?
70

Oh, look, a firefly.
82
A pixie.

112
Oh, and something I forgot.
113
Dust.
114
Dust?

Yup.
117
Just a little bit of pixie dust.
118
Now, think of the happiest things.
119
It's the same as having wings.
120
Let's all try it, just once more.

Look, we're rising off the floor.
122
Jim, I need...

Off to Neverland!
130
Following Peter's directions, they all sped off toward the second star to the right.
131
They didn't know that
132
Captain Hook and his pirates would be there to greet them when they arrived at the island. That Peter Pan.
133
If I could only find his hideout, I'd trap him in his lair.
134
But where is it?
135
Mermaid Lagoon.
136
Now we've searched that.

We've combed Cannibal Cove.

Now let me see.
153
E 'boiling in oil.
154
E 'keel oil.
155
It ain't good form, you know.
156
Good form, Mr. Smee?
157
But good form!
158
Did Pan show good form when he did this to me?
159
My, Captain, cutting your hand off was only a childish prank, you might say.
160
Aye, but throwing it to that crocodile, That cursed beast liked the taste of me so well, he's followed me ever since.
161
Licking his chops for the rest of me.
162
He'd have had you by now, Cap 'n, if he hadn't swallowed that alarm clock.
163
But now when he's about, he warns you, as you might say, with his tick -tock, tick -tock, tick -tock.
164
He'd have hands ahoy.
165
What?
166
Far away.
167
Three points off the starboard bow.
168
Oh, smuggle me eyes, it is pan.
169
Headed this way with some one of those scurvy brats.

Oh, Peter, it's just as I've always dreamed it would be.
192
Oh, look, John, there's Mermaid Lagoon. By Jove. And the Indian encampment.
193
Oh, look.
194
There's Captain Hook the pirate.
195
Look out.

What, take Wendy and the boys to the island.
197
I'll stay here and draw those fire.

Bark!
199
Bark, you type fish!
200

201
Wendy, John, and Michael followed Tink toward the island.
202
Tinkerbell.
203
Not so fast!
204
Please, Tinkerbell!
205
We can't keep up with you!
206
Tinkerbell!
207
Please!
208
But Tinkerbell was...
209
Terribly jealous of Wendy, and she sped away, leaving the children behind.
210
Tink flew ahead to Peter's hideout, Hangman's Tree, and woke the lost boys.
211
She jingled in the fairy language
212
that they were ordered by Peter to shoot down a terrible Wendy bird that was flying their way.
213
I see it!
214
Me too!
215
Me too!
216
Ready!
217
Aim!
218
Fire!
219
Wendy lost her balance and toppled into the forest below.
220
Suddenly, Peter appeared and caught Wendy and landed gently in front of the lost boys. And jump!
221
Well, I'm certainly proud of you, you blockheads.
222
I bring you a mother to tell you stories.
223
A mother?
224
And you shoot her down.
225
Well, Tink said it was a bird.
226
Tink said what?
227
Well, she said you said to shoot it down.
228
Tinkerbell.
229
Tinkerbell.
230
Tink!
231
Come here.
232
You're charged with high treason, Tink.
233
But don't you know you might have killed her?
234
Tinkerbell.
235
I hereby banish you forever.
236
Please, not forever.
237
Well, for a week, then.
238
Come on, Wendy.
239
I'll show you the island.
240
Oh, Peter.
241
The mermaids?
242
Personally, I should prefer to see the Aborigines.
243
And the Indians, too.
244
All right, men.
245
Go out and capture a few Indians.
246
John, you be the leader.
247
I shall try to be worthy of my post.
248
Hurt!
249
Hurt!
250
Following the leader, the leader, the leader.
251
We're following the leader, wherever he may go.
252
Tee -dum, tee -dee, a -tee -le -do -tee -dee.
253
Tee -dum, tee -dee, it's part of the game we play.
254
Tee -dum, tee -dee, the words are easy to say.
255
Just a teedly -dum, a teedly -doh today.
256
Tee -dum, tee -dee, a teedly -doh, teedum.
257
The one for all, and all of us are for fun.
258
We march in line and follow the other one with a teedly -doh, a teedly -doh, tee -dum.
259
Following the leader, the leader, the leader, we're following the leader wherever he may go.
260
We're out to fight the engines, the engines, the engines, we're out to fight the engines, because he told us so.
261
Tidam, tiddy, a tiddly -daw -tiday.
262
We march alone and use the words we say.
263
Tidam, tiddy, a tiddly -diddly -day.
264
Oh, a tiddly -dum, a tiddly -daw -tiday.
265
Oh, a tiddly -dum, a tiddly -daw -tiday.
266
John led the boys into a clearing where they found an Indian's footprints.
267
Ah, Blackfoot tribe.
268
Belongs to the Algonquin group.
269
Quite savage, you know.
270
Let's go get him.
271
Come on, we'll get him.
272
But just the opposite happened.
273
The Indians, disguised as pine trees, pounced on the boys and got them instead.
274
John and his scouting party were taken prisoner.
275
They were dragged to the Indian camp and led before the stern -looking chief.
276
For many moons, red man fight pale -faced lost boys.
277
Hug, hug!
278
Sometime you win.
279
Sometime we win.
280
Okay, Chief.
281
You win this time.
282
Now turn us loose.
283
Turn us loose?
284
You mean this is only a game?
285
Sure.
286
When we win, we turn them loose.
287
When they win, they turn us loose.
288
This time, no turn them loose.
289
Huh?
290
Ha ha ha!
291
The Chief's a great spoofer.
292
Me no spoof him.
293
Where you hide
294
Princess Tiger Lily?
295
Uh, Tiger Lily?
296
We ain't got your old princess.
297
I certainly never seen her.
298
Keep Big Lie.
299
If Tiger Lily not back by sunset, burn him at stake.
300
At the same time, on the other side of the island, Peter and Wendy spotted
301
Hook and Sleeve rowing across Mermaid Lagoon.
302
They've captured Tiger Lily.
303
Looks like they're heading for Skull Rock.
304
Come on, Wendy.
305
Let's see what they're up to.
306
This is me proposition.
307
You tell me the hiding place of Peter Pan, and I shall set you free.
308
You dog.
309
Poor Tiger Lily.
310
You'd better talk, my dear.
311
For soon the tide will be in, and then it will be too late.
312
I'll show the old codfish.
313
Stay here, Wendy.
314
Watch the fun.
315
Peter swooped down and circled the rope.
316
Why?
317
It's Peter Pan.
318
Come down, boy, if you have a taste for cold steel.
319
Watch this, Wendy.
320
Peter drew his dagger and dove at the captain.
321
Hook slashed his sword at Peter as he chased him across the rocks.
322
By flying backwards, Peter tricked the captain into stepping off a cliff.
323
The captain found himself dangling over the water.
324
Well, well.
325
A codfish on a hook.
326
I'll get you for this, Pan, if it's the last thing I do.
327
I say, Captain, do you hear something?
328
No. No!
329
Captain Hook looked down to see the crocodile licking his lips directly below him.
330
No!
331
It's me!
332
Don't look away, Captain.
333
Stay right there now, sir.
334
I'll save you, sir.
335
Ow!
336
Captain Hook jumped into the rowboat with the crocodile right behind him.
337
Roll with the ship!
338
Whoa!
339
Peter dove into the water, scooped Tigularly up into his arms, and flew her back to the Indian village.
340
The chief let all the captured boys go and thanked Peter.
341
Oh, make Peter Pan keep big chief.
342
You now, little flying eagle.
343
Teach him, pale -faced brother, all about Red Man.
344
Good.
345
This should be most enlightening.
346
Uh, what makes the Red Man red?
347
When did he first say, uh, say, uh?
348
Why does he ask you how?
349
Why does he ask you how?
350
Why does he ask you how?
351
Once the engine didn't know all the things that he knows now.
352
But the Injun, he sure learned a lot, and it's all from asking how.
353
Mana, mana, ganda, mana, ganda, we translate for you.
354
Mana means what mana means, and ganda means that.
355
Mana, mana, ganda, mana, ganda, mana, ganda, mana, ganda.
356
When did he first say, oh?
357
Mana, ganda, mana, ganda, when did he first say, oh?
358
Mana, mana, ganda, in the Injun book it say, when first great marriage fall.
359
He gave up with heaping love when he saw his mother -in -law
360
What made the Red Man red?
361
What made the Red Man red?
362
Let's go back a million years to the very first Indian prince
363
He kissed some mane and started to blush
364
We've all been blushing since The real true story of the Red Man,
365
no matter what's been written or said.
366
Now you know I'm the Red Man Red.
367
The Indian celebration continued late into the night.
368
At the same time, back aboard his ship and safe from the crocodile, Captain Hook was plotting to get even with Peter.
369
He heard that Tinkerbell had been banished because she hated Wendy
370
and he knew that a jealous pixie can be tricked into anything.
371
Captain Hook invited Tinkerbell aboard his ship where he promised to kidnap Wendy and sail her away from Neverland forever.
372
When she heard that, Tink eagerly showed him
373
Peter's hideout on the map.
374
Ah, Hangman's tree.
375
So that's the entrance to his hiding place.
376
Thank you, my dear.
377
You've been most helpful.
378
In a flash, Hook snatched Tinkerbell and locked her up in an empty lantern.
379
On the island, Peter and the boys were singing
380
and dancing their way back from the Indian village and down into their home beneath Hangman's Tree.
381
Big Chief Flying Eagle greets his braves.
382
Oh, Chief!
383
Big Chief greets little mother.
384
Ugh.
385
Oh, Wendy, is that all you have to say?
386
Everyone else thinks I'm wonderful.
387
Especially Tiger Lily.
388
Tiger Lily?
389
John?
390
Michael?
391
Take off that wall paint and get ready for bed.
392
Bed?
393
Brave, no sleep.
394
Go for days without sleep.
395
But, boys, we're going home in the morning.
396
No go home.
397
Stay many moons.
398
Have heap big time.
399
Oh, for goodness sake.
400
Please, boys, do you want to stay here and grow up like savages? Of course.
401
But you can't.
402
You need a mother.
403
We all do.
404
Aren't you our mother, Wendy?
405
Why, Michael, of course not.
406
Surely you haven't forgotten our real mother.
407
What was she like?
408
Yeah, tell us.
409
Tell us, please, Wendy.
410
Well, a mother, a real mother, is the most wonderful person in the world.
411
She's the angel voice that bid you goodnight,
412
kisses your cheek, whispers sleep tight.
413
Your mother and mine
414
Your mother and mine
415
The helping hand that guides you along
416
Whether you're right, whether you're wrong
417
Your mother and my
418
Your mother and my
419
What makes mothers all that they are Might as well ask what makes a star
420
Ask your heart to tell you her worth
421
Your heart will say
422
Heaven's worth You are my Lord,
423
O Divine, Your Mother and Mine.
424
I will see my Mother.
425
Yes, Michael.
426
I propose we leave the home at once.
427
Could I go too?
428
How would he?
429
All right, boys, all right.
430
I'm sure Mother would be glad to have you.
431
Oh, that is, if Peter doesn't mind...
432
Go on.
433
Go back and grow up.
434
But I'm warning you, once you're grown up, you can never come back.
435
Never!
436
What the...
437
Using the directions he had tricked out of Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and the pirates surrounded Hangman's Tree.
438
As Wendy and the boys came out, the pirates silently grabbed them and carried them away to their ship.
439
Once on board, Hook offered the children a chance to join the crew.
440
Yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho.
441
So try the life of a thief, just sample the life of a brook.
442
There isn't a boy who won't enjoy a working for Captain Hook.
443
The world's most famous crook.
444
Crook, crook, trickity, crockity, trickity, crook.
445
The crock is after, Captain.
446
A special offer for today, I'll tell you what I'll do.
447
All those who sign without delay will get a free tattoo.
448
Why, it's like money in the bank.
449
Come on, join up and I'll be frank.
450
Unless you do, you'll walk the plank.
451
The choice is up to you.
452
The choice is up to you.
453
Yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho, yo -ho.
454
You'll love the life of a thief.
455
You'll relish the life of a crook.
456
There's barrels of fun for everyone, and you'll get treasures by the ton.
457
So come and sign the book.
458
Join up with Captain Hook.
459
I'm not going to die.
460
Boy!
461
Aren't you ashamed of yourselves?
462
But Captain Hook is most insistent when they...
463
Yeah.
464
He says we'll walk the plank if we don't.
465
Oh, no, we won't.
466
Peter Pan will save us.
467
Peter Pan will save them, Smeak.
468
What a thousand pardons, my dear.
469
I don't believe you are in on our little joke.
470
You see, we left a present for Peter.
471
Sort of a surprise.
472
package you might say.
473
Why I can see our little friend at this very moment reading the tender inscription.
474
To Peter with love from Wendy.
475
Do not open till six o 'clock.
476
Huh I wonder what's in it.
477
Could he but see within the package he would find an ingenious little device.
478
Set so that when the clock is like this, Peter Pear will be blasted out of Neverland forever.
479
Tinkerbell, desperate to save
480
Peter, knocked over her lantern prism, breaking the glass and escaping.
481
Tink flew as fast as she could and sped into Hangman's Tree just a few seconds before 6 o 'clock.
482
Hey, Tink.
483
Look at Wendy left.
484
Hey, stop that.
485
Stop it.
486
What's the matter with you?
487
Huh?
488
A bomb?
489
Don't be ridiculous.
490
Tinkerbell grabbed the box away from Peter.
491
Hook.
492
It was a bomb.
493
Why, if it hadn't been for Tinker...
494
Tinkerbell! Where are you, Tink?
495
Tink?
496
Tinkerbell!
497
Tink, are you all right?
498
Wendy?
499
The boys?
500
But I've got to save you first.
501
Hold on, Tink, hold on.
502
Don't you understand, Tink?
503
You mean more to me than anything in this whole world.
504
Peter feverishly dug through the rubble to rescue Tinkerbell.
505
Meanwhile, on the pirate ship, everyone believed that the bomb had destroyed Peter.
506
And now, which will it be?
507
The pen or the plan?
508
Captain Hook, we will never join your crew.
509
As you wish.
510
Ladies first, me dear.
511
Get along, me dear.
512
Don't give us no trouble.
513
Go on, go on.
514
Get it over with.
515
Move along.
516
Wendy, Wendy.
517
Captain, no splash.
518
Not a sound.
519
Not a blooming ripple.
520
It's a jinx.
521
That's what it is.
522
The ship's bewitched.
523
No splash, Captain.
524
Sir, you want a splash, Mr. Starkey.
525
I'll give you a splash.
526
Who's next?
527
You're next, Hook.
528
This time you've gone too far. And Randy.
529
It can't be.
530
It's his blinking ghost what's talking.
531
Say your prayers, Hook.
532
I'll show you this ghost has blood in his veins.
533
I'll run him through.
534
Hook.
535
Hook swung his sword wildly at Peter.
536
Again and again, Peter dodged the blows or blocked them with his dagger.
537
Then he flew past
538
Hook, cut the boys loose from the mast and flew up to the yardarm.
539
Come on, everybody.
540
Hurry, Michael, hurry!
541
Don't stand there, you belled rats!
542
Get those caviar rats!
543
Wendy and the boys scurried into the crow's necks as the pirates climbed up the rigging after them.

Don't drop fire.
545
Steady, men.
546
Steady.
547
Climb up with the pirates!
548
Fire!
549
A garage of rocks and clubs rained down on the pirates, knocking them overboard.
550
Fly, fly, fly, you coward!
551
Coward?
552
Me?
553
You wouldn't dare fight old
554
Hook man to man.
555
You'd fly away like a cowardly sparrow.
556
Nobody calls Pan a coward and lives.
557
I'll fight you man to man with one hand behind my back.
558
You mean you won't fly?
559
No, no, Peter.
560
It's a trick.
561
I give my word, Hook.
562
Good.
563
Then let's have at it.
564
The captain climbed onto the yardarm.
565
Peter drew his dagger and lunged at Hook.
566
The captain brought
567
Peter's blow with his sword.
568
Then the crafty old pirate knocked
569
Pan off balance and disarmed him.
570
Peter was trapped.
571
No!
572
Insult you.
573
Prepare to die!
574
Fly, Peter!
575
Fly!
576
No!
577
I gave my word.
578
Quickly, Peter jumped up, pulled the pilot flag down over Hook, and stole the captain's sword.
579
You're mine!
580
You wouldn't do old
581
Hook in now, would you lad?
582
I'll go away forever.
583
I'll do anything you say.
584
Well, all right.
585
If you say you're a codfish.
586
I'm a codfish.
587
Louder!
588
I'm a codfish!
589
Hooray!
590
All right, Puck.
591
You're free to go.
592
And never return.
593
Puck and his men rode out to sea with the crocodile in close pursuit, never to be seen again.
594
We're going home!
595
All right, you swats!
596
Aloft with you!
597
We're casting off!
598
Heave those halyards!
599
But, but, Peter!
600
Oh, that is Captain Pan!
601
At your service, madam.
602
Could you tell me, sir, where we're sailing?
603
To London, madam.
604
Oh, Peter!
605
Michael!
606
John!

We're going home!

See how well he sails the ship.

A long time ago, when I was very young.

There's a smile in your heart

There's no better time to start

When you leave the world behind

And bid your cares goodbye

You can fly
