And my experience as a Space Academy intern at Goddard Space

Flight Center didn't just teach me how to write code and build circuit boards.

It taught me what it felt like to contribute on a team to a seemingly impossible goal.

It taught me that uncertainty along my path was okay, and that failure and opportunity go hand in hand.

Exploration is a relay.

Each generation hands the baton to the next.

You all, whether you're currently interning at NASA, working on your application, or just starting to dream, you're doing so alongside the future engineers,

scientists, problem solvers, and mission leaders.

It's your ideas, relationships, and curiosity that will shape the missions that define this century of exploration.
