Hello everyone and welcome to our video series on Learn German for Beginners.

In this series, we'll be starting with lessons for Ahtzwei.

In this lesson, we will be learning how to introduce yourself, just like in the examination Goethe -Certifikat A2.

Since this is the first part of the oral examination for A2 level, it is very important to learn this.

If you are through with the A1, these structures will not be difficult for you.

We'll be doing various sentences and don't forget you can always change them a bit according to your personal details.

The exam has three parts.

In the first part, you have to introduce yourself.

Name, Alter, Land, Wohnort, Sprachen, Beruf, Hobby.

With the help of these words, you have to talk about yourself.

We'll be doing them one by one.

Let's begin with the first one.

Ich heiße Sam oder Ich bin Sam.

Das ist einfach.

Du kannst auch sagen My name is Sam and my family name is Müller.

Oder du kannst sagen: Mein Name ist Sam Müller.

Oder ich bin Sam Müller.

Oder ich heiße Sam Müller.

Natürlich sagst du hier deinen eigenen Namen und nicht Sam Müller.

Man kann sagen: Ich bin 25 oder ich bin 25 Jahre alt.

Du kannst auch sagen: Ich bin 1992 geboren oder ich bin im Jahr

1992 geboren.

Land Now the question: Where are you coming from?

I come from China.

Or I am from China.

Here is China.

You can name your country.

For example: I am from Germany.

Or I am from Spain.

So there are a few countries: Germany, Spain, France and so on.

Wohnort So, where do you live?

you.

Ich wohne mit meiner Familie.

Oder ich wohne alleine.

Du kannst auch sagen, ich wohne in einer WG.

Eine WG ist, wenn zwei, drei oder mehr Leute eine Wohnung mieten oder teilen.

Sprachen.

Welche Sprachen sprichst du?

Ich spreche Englisch und etwas Deutsch.

Natürlich kannst du hier andere Sprachen nennen.

Du kannst auch sagen, ich kann sehr gut Englisch, aber ein wenig Deutsch.

My mother's language is English,

In Deutschland darfst du als Student nur Teilzeit arbeiten.

kannst du sagen: Ich bin arbeitslos und suche gerade eine Stelle.

And if you are your own boss, you say: I am self -sufficient.

Here is a list of a few roles.

Don't forget that for masculine you say "the teacher" and for feminine you say "the teacher".

Now we talk about Hobby.

What are your hobbies?

What do you like to do in your time?

So, you can say: Meine Hobbies sind Fußballspielen und Fernsehen.

Oder in meiner Freizeit höre ich gerne Musik und backe gerne.

Another alternative is

"I have no time for Hobbies, but I go to the cinema." Here is a list of hobbies.

You can choose your hobbies and speak about hobbies.
