Hi guys, let's talk about the things that I won't be buying this fall.

Number one, seasonal drinks.

Are you even surprised?

Let me just see what Starbucks has on their menu right now for seasonal drinks.

I feel like they are a very good indicator for what seasonal drinks are trending right now.

Oh my gosh, guys, they even have a trending page.

Okay, here we have iced pumpkin cream chai, iced pecan crunch latte, pecan crunch latte,

iced banana bread matcha iced banana bread chai iced chider girl

all of these sound terrible to me i'm sorry these sound terrible

and do they have the pumpkin the classic pumpkin spice latte

yes pumpkin spice is back guys pumpkin cream shaken espresso pumpkin

cream chai oh my i'm about to cream with all these

cream lattes pumpkin spice chai latte like i will not be buying any of these this fall

and they are seasonal drinks they will come time

and time again we're gonna see it next year

so is anyone surprised like no

and you already know what a pumpkin spice latte tastes like i already know what a pumpkin spice tastes like

and i know what chai tastes like i don't need to

know what a pumpkin cream chai chider cream extra cream latte tastes like okay

so i will not be buying seasonal drinks this fall

if anything i'll make them at home

and i feel like it'll be a lot less crazy than the ones we're buying out in the cafes.

And of course, I'll indulge in the season.

I might buy one here and there at a cafe that actually makes a good seasonal drink.

But other than that, I will not be indulging in seasonal drinks.

I'm good with just my coffee, matcha here and there, a tea.

Like, I like to keep it basic and simple.

I'm sorry, guys.

Number two, anti -blush and dark lipsticks.

So to explain what anti -blush is, it's this makeup trend

that replaces brighter red toned blush with a more neutral warmer soft tone blush

that adds warmth and dimension to your cheek without it being bright

or pink so it's supposed to be in between like natural contour bronzer

and a flush of the face and girl you're probably thinking what the hell

because I'm thinking what the hell they're just making anything a trend these days

so I guess what they're trying to sell are these neutral toned blushes

that add this effect but what's the difference between this

and contour this

and a bronzer I feel like you could pretty much find

any neutral toned palette even your eyeshadow for instance you could

use your eyeshadow as an anti -blush girl I don't need

to buy another product to have anti -blush on my face okay especially now

that it's going into fall I feel like more people will

want to bring out the more neutral tones the cooler tones

darker tones yeah like you might be tempted to go out

and buy an anti -blush with this trend that's going on

but just look at your makeup collection like I literally have makeup from five years ago

that I still have not hit pan on I'm gonna use up my makeup first before I go

and buy an anti -blush and the same goes for dark lipsticks I have

so many lip glosses and lipsticks that I've accumulated over the years

and they take a lot longer to finish than you might

think literally I still have some lipsticks from like three four

five years ago like I should probably throw them out

but I feel bad so I'm gonna try and finish them before I throw them out and buy some new lipsticks.

I don't need a new dark lipstick.

I don't need a new anti -blush.

I'm just going to use what I have in my collection already.

If I want to darken up my blush, maybe I'll use a bronzer or I'll mix things or I'll use a different technique.

I don't know.

Like I'm not going to get an anti -blush or dark lipstick.

Number three, scented candles or perfumes for fall.

I don't want to buy scented candles or perfumes just

because I know it'll take up space

and i hate the idea of buying something just

because of the season i think it's a great time for people to push things onto you

because it's like oh like you want to smell like vanilla you want to smell like cinnamon

and apple pie and wood and earth

and it's fall you should you should smell like this no girl no i don't i have the scents

that i already like and i'm going to continue wearing them into the fall i feel like

if i were to buy more scented candles it would just take up more space

and candles take a long time to burn like i would

have to really be into candles to continue using a candle

and make sure

that i use it to the end i still have candles from two years ago three years ago

and i still have not finished them unless i'm really trying

to embody christian girl fall i will not be indulging in buying new candles

or perfumes just for fall and these scents associated with fall are usually like a sweet vanilla cinnamon.

I'm sure you can find those scents in your regular perfume collection already.

They are very generic broad scents.

I don't need the latest apple pie crisp vanilla cinnamon candle to feel like fall.

I can look outside and see the leaves changing to know that fall is here.

Okay number four Uggs slash tall Uggs.

I've been seeing that tall uggs are trending

these days for fall i think

that uggs are very cute don't get me wrong i love the look of uggs

but i live in vancouver and it rains a lot here

and going into the fall i know

that the rain will be a lot heavier

and there will be more days of rain so just having uggs

and wearing uggs outside is just not practical i think what's more practical are having rain boots

which i think are also cute

and trending for the fall I wouldn't invest my money into a pair of shoes

that I could only wear like two months out of the

year they can be very warm I used to have Uggs I'm

so sad that I donated them who would have known

that Uggs would be trending again I don't I didn't know

13 year old me didn't know I thought they were chuggy

at the time I thought they were cute for like a year

and then 13 year old me decided they were suddenly cringe

that i could only wear two months out of the year number five the new iphone 18 pro

off the charts everybody was wrapping their journal in a leather material with the trinkets

but i loved to observe from afar and my journal

You could take a walk and notice the changing colors of the leaves and then sigh.

You could curate your fall wardrobe with pieces you already have.

Change out the colorfuls and the summers and the tank tops for the trousers and the long sleeves and the darker tones,

the greens, the browns, earthy tones.

And you could change up the feng shui of your room by changing or refreshing or resetting things, changing the layout,

swapping out things with things that you already have instead of buying more things
